è come un miraggio!!! la struttura è bellissima come un castello di sabbia tra le dune che si tingono di rosso arancio giallo a seconda della luce. Il problema è la distanza da Abu Dhabi (140 km, senza trasporti pubblici, 2 ore di viaggio) ed i conseguenti alti costi per raggiungerlo. E' adatto ad una vacanza relax, perchè non si può andare a visitare nessuna città, o centro commerciale.... solo si può godere il deserto, la piscina, bella, grande, ben servita, e l'ottima cucina. Sarebbe opportuna […] qualche iniziativa per favorire la socializzazione di chi non è in luna di miele, od in gruppo numeroso. Vista la grande quantità di ospiti italiani e francesi, sarebbe bene che ci fosse sempre alla reception qualcuno di lingua neolatina (italiano, francese, o spagnolo -la lingua più parlata al mondo). This resort manages to keep an authentic touch because of the location and the furniture/decoration. Expect a place for relaxation or romance rather than a lot of activities. I had discovered the hotel 2 years before on a guide. the pictures appealed to me and last December was a unique opportunity to celebrate our 30 year anniversary . The surroundings are breath taking, the welcome and caring of the entire staff are first class. Service, rooms, food excellents. In addition their customer care and safety was outstanding, […] my wifeu who had an accident was immediately taken by helicopter to the nearest hospital, and I can only salute and thank the professionalism and on site medical crew who did a fantastic job. We had a terrace room which had an amazing outdoor area (almost as big as the room itself) with plenty of seating. We also had a balcony room which was just as nice albeit just having a small balcony. We wanted to book a camel trek in the desert but it was all booked out, we were very disappointed. Our arrival at sunset was magical as the sun receded behind the Dunes. As we entered the romantic desert palace a falcon and his trainer welcomed us and we were greeted with a beautiful drink of yoghurt, dates and camel's milk which was delicious.... Staff are welcoming, polite, considerate and very helpful and housekeeping staff met our every need. […] All the meals we had were exceptionally good. The room is beautifully appointed with tasteful colours of aquamarine and bronze and lovely woven rugs and the bedlinen is of a superb quality; which they change each day if required. We overlooked the Dunes and distant desert landscape from our comfortable balcony. Bathroom facilities are unusual but gracious. Breakfast I recall as very special - looking out over the desert dunes landscape with a large choice of arabian or european or asian foods which were exquisitely made and presented. The sunlight in the morning and evening is ethereal. The Desert experience is really invigorating and the air is pure. We greatly enjoyed our camel ride and falcon event. Our visit to the Spa was tranquil and a lovely atmosphere the staff here very attentive and caring. Many thanks to all who made our stay so lovely. We want to come again!! Continua a leggere

Great place to stay...however don't follow GPS instructions..Follow the road signs to the hotel after you're in the area if you've traveled from Abu Dhabi. The new road is after the GPS turn off instructions...it's paved and in perfect condition. The old route to the hotel is still used for remote oil field access but is still tied into the GPS route […] (as of Sept 2012) but is not passable unless you have four-wheel drive vehicle. Do not compare this resort with the Bab Al Shamp resort. This is a different league (we stayed in both). The setting and scenery of Qars Al Sarab is awesome. It is really in the middle of only sand. Nothing else than sand till the horizon, no obstacles or other building. We stayed in a large terrace room with large bathroom. Everything for a nice and […] luxury stay is available in the room (including iron material). Great dessert views from the terrace and from the room. Large swimming pool area with pool bars and pool restaurant. Menu of other activities and excursions available. Hotel has three restaurants (all good to great). Valet parking is the standard and for those who do not like to travel 2,5 hours from Abu Dhabi by car, multiple heli (chopper) platforms are available. This is a high-end resort, highly recommended for people who prefers a luxury resort in an extraordinary setting/environment. This is a marvelous hotel and the location is out of the ordinary. We will go back for sure and for a longer stay. We had a Deluxe Room with terrasse and it offers a lot for a long stay. Even at night it is beautiful.

I read a very interesting and detailed review in Trip Advisor prior to my stay at the hotel. Obviously these reviews are very subjective but the information and opinions in this particular one were spot on. The setting of the Hotel is fabulous. The staff extremely polite. A bit of a walk to the pool and main hotel resturants...about 5 mins as the hotel is quite spead out but this was no problem for us. I highly recommend the sunset camel ride, a really great experience. I am currently working in Abu Dhabi and living in a five star hotel so have high expectations. I was not disappointed. The setting is unbelievable and the hotel is so impressive it reminds you very much of being inside a fort, right from entering through the gates and into the large reception area where you are in awe of your surroundings, the Arabic influences are everywhere. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we chose a terrace room which was […] spacious even with an extra bed, the views from the terrace were superb! The service and friendliness of the staff were great too, having a 10 year old we didn't try the fine dining restaurant but ate out of the other restaurants where the food was of good quality and accommodated for kids. The pool is great (heated too) with a shaded area over the kids section, we spent most of our time here during the day, again the attentiveness of the staff meant you never wanted for anything. We never used the spa but choose to go on 3 excursions - the Camel Riding, Archery and 4x4 Dune bashing, they were all well organised and good fun too. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, however, not sure if you could do two weeks there with younger kids as there is a limitation to the activities you can do, that said we wished we had longer than the 3 nights we spent there a week would have been good, that said if you want to get away from it all and just relax the setting is ideal. For relaxation this hotel is the ultimate. We should have spent longer there and will next time. The added touches like complimentary dried fruit box and fresh fruit basket were appreciated. The villa with personal pool is worth the extra cost.

We had a wonderful three nights at Qasr Al Sarab - it was utterly luxurious. However, for a five star hotel, there were a couple of hitches. When we arrived, the check-in process took over an hour, though it was during Eid. We were then informed we would have a room with twin beds and no breakfast when we had booked a king bed with breakfast included. […] This was then rectified on producing evidence of our Expedia booking despite initially telling us the hotel was full so there were no king beds available. We had booked each of the restaurants for each night in advance (having been told this was advisable by friends) and got conflicting reports saying Suhail was not open on a Monday (it turned out to be open every night of the week), that we couldn't sit outside on any of the nights in any of the restaurants (each restaurant had us eating al fresco on every evening), and that Dining By Design Hazeera was only open on a Friday night to certain people (it was actually open on every night too and we missed out on that due to the false information we were given). One other thing to watch out for at Suhail - other reviews on tripadvisor mentioned that the restaurant offers you Kir Royale drinks when you arrive as a treat which turn out not to be complimentary so be warned. On the upside, the food at all the restaurants particularly Suhail was fantastic; the service was excellent at restaurants and at the pool; and the early morning desert walk was worth the 5:30am start! Excellent hotel with extremely attentive staff in all departments in an exotic desert location. Accommodation and food could not be faulted. The only obvious failing was the lack of organised activities direct from the hotel rather than travel to another departure point.

On arrive au Qasr al Sarab par une route serpentant dans les dunes depuis la "bourgade" de Hammen, a 120 km d'Abu Dhabi. Et lorsqu'on arrive, on n'est pas déçus (à condition de rechercher un lieu au milieu de nulle part dans le désert, ce qui était notre cas). Le Resort est un complexe construit dans le style fort arabe, bien intégré, et on ressent […] toute suite une sérénité propre au desert. Nous avions 2 chambres : une balcon avec vue désert et une autre terrasse pour nos enfants. Les chambres sont de très bon niveau, le seul petit inconvénient pour les nôtres étant la relative proximité avec le restaurant situé à proximité de la piscine, avec un bruit de ventilation gênant pour profiter du balcon (mais inaudible fenêtre fermée). En contrepartie la proximité de la réception et de la piscine étaient pratiques. Nous avons passé 2 jours très agréables, avec balades dans les dunes le matin et au coucher du soleil (inutile a notre avis de prendre les excursions accompagnées proposées par l'hôtel, il n'y a aucun risque). La piscine est très agréable et calme. La restauration est de qualité, que ce soit au restaurant méditerranéen a côté de la piscine, ou celui situé sous la réception, avec un buffet excellent et terrasse avec vue sur les dunes. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant plus "sélect" type français, ni le dîner arabe sous la tente. Nous recommandons donc cet endroit pour les personnes cherchant à découvrir les paysages du désert tour en bénéficiant d'un grand confort. Continua a leggere

Das Hotel läßt keine Wünsche offen. Traumhafte Lage in der Wüste, perfekter Service, geräumige Zimmer und vorzügliches Essen. Der abendliche Anblick der beleuchteten Anlage inmitten der Sanddünen ist unvergesslich.

Prachtig resort. Vlak voor je er bent verandert het landschap: prachtige hoge zandduinen. De privéweg er naartoe is al de moeite. Zeker een aanrader om te combineren met huurauto en een bezoek aan Abu Dhabi.

砂漠以外何もないところに突如現れるオアシスの様なホテルでした。訪問は１月初旬でしたが、プールサイドで水着でのんびり過ごし、子供たちは泳ぎに砂漠でのウォーキングにととても楽しそうでした。アブダビから車で2時間弱と、交通の便は少ししんどいですが、風景や環境を考えるとそれだけの価値はあると思いました。食事はホテルのレストラン以外に選択肢はありませんが、リーズナブル～リッチまで幅広いレストランがあり、ぼられる感覚はありません。機会があればもう一度宿泊してみたいホテルです。
