A Jackson Heights si trova Little India.

"country inn and suites NYC"
Struttura nuova e ben tenuta, camere ampie ben arredate e pulite.
Giudizio assolutamente positivo++ Continua a leggere
"Easy subway ride to Manhattan"
The hotel is fine; staff was helpful, room was clean, we felt safe. There is a very nice, new coffee shop half a block away where you can get good coffee and breakfast if you don't want to eat the hotel buffet. There is also a gas station next door where you can get drinks and snacks. Otherwise, there are no restaurants anywhere nearby and the closest […] drug store is 10 blocks away.It worked well for our purposes this trip and I would stay there again if we were in the same situation (visiting a friend who was living nearby). "Nice comfortable hotel and close to metro station"
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
"Surprisingly good"
I think this hotel under sells itself for its convenience of getting straight into Manhattan, it is only minutes from a regular subway service that goes straight to all of the tourist spots - was literally 15 minutes from our room to be in Times Square. Hotel rooms are quite respectable, fantastic view of NY skyline, in the main it was everything that […] you could ask of a budget hotel just out of the centre. The downsides are that the breakfast is an absolute bunfight, it is free so if you just grab a coffee and a bagel and then go out for the day could cant really complain, and there is no concierge service - they will let you leave your cases in the reception if you check out and want to return later in the day for your luggage, but they are literally left in the reception and there is no security. In conclusion I was quite happy with my choice. Continua a leggere
"Good Solid hotel"
Good clean hotel, Beds were good, location is a bit out of the way but still close enough to amenities.
"Great hotel for the price"
It was a great place to stay that wasn't horribly expensive as many of the other hotels could be (especially in Manhattan), but is really close (few blocks walk) to the Subway where you can get to pretty much anywhere, with Manhattan being just across the river. Having morning breakfasts available was also terrific so that you don't have to worry about […] finding restaurants or somewhere to eat first thing in the morning. The concierge was also very helpful if you have any questions and the rooms were very clean. Continua a leggere
My new favorite spot. One stop by train from Manhattan. Great rate, great facility and great location. Up and coming neighborhood.
"pretty good"
hotel was clean and up to date. they only downside not much places to eat around besides chinese food being delivered.
"Great location few blocks from subway"
overall it was a good stay close to subway and parking lot. I knew about no parking availability in hotel premises so was no surprise, is NYC after all. I recommend room with city view, worth paying a little extra.
"20 minutes from Times Square"
Excellent location just 5 minutes from the subway. Safe neighborhood but there's little there. Sound insulation between rooms is poor. The noisy girls next door sounded like they were in our room. Banging doors are also very loud. The expensive HD flat screen TV was being fed with a cheap standard definition signal so the picture was fuzzy. On the good […] side, the room was clean and comfortable and well worth the annoyances for the convenience and the price. I would stay there again. Continua a leggere
"Good Value, Convenient"
The neighorhood is not the greatest, but the hotel is conveniently located to Manhattan. Rooms and common areas are comfortable and clean. Free breakfast was decent.

"Outstanding"
I normally live in NYC, but have to be away for a year, but also have to be in the city once a month or so and stay in a hotel. So always looking for the best hotel deals. And man, this really is one! It's very very nice, immaculate, quiet, big room,. king size bed, big bathroom, very personable staff. The location is fine. People should not be reluctant […] to stay in Long Island City, Queens. It is the very first neighborhood over the 59th Street Bridge from Manhattan, and a quick and simple subway or bus ride into Manhattan...15 minutes to Times Square. The subway station is 2 blocks from the hotel. I picked this hotel because I thought there was on-site parking, but there was not. My mistake, but I'm glad I made the mistake, as I wouldn't otherwise have chosen this hotel. And it turned out to be not a problem that the hotel doesn't have parking. I was able to park right in front, and I noticed plenty more on-street parking within a one-block radius. Rush-hour traffic in this neighborhood is a pain, but parking is easy, and once you are parked, your car can stay put, except for one two-hour period per week for street cleaning. So once you're sure you're not in that 2 hour per week window (which is clearly posted on signs), you're all set. Also, the breakfast room holds 40+ people, there are many choices for breakfast, and it's available 6:00-10:00. Continua a leggere
They gave me a very bad room in the basement
"So close to metro"
Helpful front desk, conveniently located to metro so we can get to Times Square fast. Breakfast is good. Only parking could be a negative but we were lucky
"Ok - ish"
Location is ok, 2 stops to 5th avenue with the underground. The surrounding of the hotel is not great, but we never felt unsafe. The hotel is ok but several things could be improved: (a) the breakfast is a joke, egg galette and strange looking sausages and that's it. All served in plastic cup and plates. You can do your own pancake but the place is […] messy after the 3rd guess. Not great at all, we gave it a miss from day 2. (b) the rooms are clean but you can see the cleaning was done very quickly (we constantly found body hair on the bathroom floor which were obviously not ours...) not the end of the day, but not great. (c) the heating/air conditioning machine make the noise of a tractor - you cannot keep it on at night. We were lucky the weather meant we did not need heating or air conditionning, but if you go there in winter or during summer, take hearplugs! Overall, if your plan is just to sleep there and go in town all day then it's a fine hotel. Continua a leggere
"Just ok"
Don't really feel it was worth the money. There were other comparable deals when I searched, but their claim to free parking was the main attraction. When we arrived, we were given the excuse that the Fire Dept had just shut down their parking lot, and the desk clerk nonchalantly told us to just find parking on the street. If indeed they had just lost […] access to the parking facility, you would think there would have been at least a half hearted attempt to accomodate their guests. As there was no effort, I believe that no parking is the norm and is just a false claim to lure guests. Also on our 2nd day, when we returned to our room, neither of our keys would work. Desk clerk offered no explanation, but changed both keys. Obviously it wasn't a defective key, because both had needed to be changed. I guess most frustrating was that no explanation was offered. Positive things: room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and clean. Also, the internet worked, AND was free as promised. The location is close the City and the train was easily accessible. "Convenient and Nice way to visit NYC"
one block from the L. ride directly into times square. save lots of money over staying in Manhattan.
"2nd Stay - Just as nice..."
This is easily the best value hotel in the NYC area. This was my second stay in 3 years and the service/rooms/amenities are still top notch. While the neighborhood isn't great, it's super convenient, providing quick access to the 7 train (going into Manhattan). I'd seen messages indicating that there is on-site parking... During this most recent stay, […] their parking spots had been removed. In this regard, street parking is accessible - I'd recommend staying North and East of the hotel (deeper into the residential area). Continua a leggere
"2nd Stay and staff is not very friendly!!"
Great location, easy ride into city. Great city views. Breakfast area was always hard to find a seat, and counters, tables, ect were dirty every day.
"Good connections to Manhattan"
Hotel seems newly renowated and it's location vs. rates are well in place. Nearest subway station connecting to Manhattan is located only 200 meters away. On the negative side, rooms are quite noisy, since all sounds of hallway can be heard painfully well. Complementary wi-fi was working ok. An ok hotel for a budget-traveller.
"Good for Tourists! Bad for those who need to park."
The rooms were beyond comfortable and roomy. We got two executive king rooms, and they were larger than most suites at other hotels. The lobby is small, but the service is nice. It's perfect for just touristy visitors coming through town and not wanting to pay $$$ for close accomadations or going to New Jersey. Pricing was appropriate and very considerate […] given the services and space. Internet was fast, food was adequate. There is, however, NO PARKING. The surrounding area is very sketchy (but safe, I guess), but you have to drive around for a parking spot or pay an extra $10 for parking. As with the entirety of New York, there is traffic allll the time. All in all, a comfortable, roomy stay, enough to recharge you for another day in New York. Continua a leggere
Good location to access the city. The lady manager is very rude and thinks she has to exert her authoruty as the manager to all customers. Poor customer service.
"Unexpected delight!"
Given the location I did not expect to be as comfortable and impressed as I was. The room felt like a small suite, beautiful layout and excellent furnishings. The service was excellent, unobtrusive and the room was clean and well kept. I had only one complaint - firstly, they do not have parking (five parking spots that are always occupied do not count […] as parking) and did not seem to be reserved for guests. Basically this is a street parking hotel and be prepared for a long search within a two block radius in a somewhat unappealing neighbourhood. If you can get past this - you will have a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. Continua a leggere
"Country Inn/Suites Queens NY-Close To Subways!!"
Checked in to this hotel on a rainy 2-29-2012. Since I was coming by subway, was very glad to find the hotel only a quick 4 minute walk from a major train stop. The room was very clean with plenty of good cable TV channels. Also plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. Contrary to some reviews here, there is a small well-stocked 24 hour deli in the gas […] station right next to the hotel. Only 2 minor negatives: no audio on CNN & the curtains didn't completely close to darken the room during daytime. Continua a leggere
"Country Inn Suites"
Great rooms. Booked with hotels.com and the room was worth twice what I paid. They have free wifi, breakfast, small gym. Well worth it. Clean room, near Broadway and subway.
"Crescent St. shuffle."
My son has a 1 bedroom apt. about 1/4 mile away on the same street (Crescent St.) as the hotel. We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is reasonable and clean. There are 2 issues to be aware of. First, the free parking is a total of 11 spaces, which always seem to have the same cars in them. We had to park on a side street about 150 yards from […] the hotel. Make sure you read the parking signs and the fine print on them. We didn't have a problem but I am familiar with them from years of parking in Boston. Second, the elevators can be extremely slow. Between 8A.M. and 10A.M. on the weekend, between the breakfast crowd, the cleaning crews and people leaving the wait can be loooong. Continua a leggere
Staff and cleanliness was outstanding. Parking a challenge since we arrived at 10pm but were able to park in a pay lot only 1/2 block from the hotel....and it was very reasonable.

Room was very clean but it was small and a bit crampy. Free parking is limited to about four curbside spots. Was told street parking and a paying parking lot was an alternative for guests who can't find free spots. Street that hotel is located on is too crowded with cars. Hotel is close to a few grocery stores. Breakfast was adequate with its limited […] choices. Overall, the hotel is ok for just a rest stop. Continua a leggere

"Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, NYC Queens"
My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve this year. It is only a block to the F train, for a quick 15 min ride into Manhattan. We were going to a concert at Madison Square Garden, so it was super easy. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but you are literally at the subway station in moments, so I was never too worried. Rooms were clean, comfortable, […] staff was VERY nice at check in and check out. Would def recommend for a cheaper alternative to staying right in the city, as long as you are ok with taking the subway! Continua a leggere
"cheap and good"
it was one of the cheapest rates i got whenever i went to nyc for the new year's even tho i booked on the 30th. all of me and my friends stayed in one bedroom no problem,,,,staff is nice,,,location is alright 3 miles from times square,,, the only problem is that they don't provide parking spots for the guests!!!
"Country Inn & Suites in Queens is awesome"
This was my first time in NYC, so I had a little trouble finding the subway stop for the hotel. Once I did, it was a short walk, I felt safe and the hotel was outstanding by any measure - but especially for the price.
"Comfort Inn Queens - Nice Hotel, Neighborhood Not"
The front desk staff is rude and cold, but once you get past them, the rooms are fairly attractive and comfortable. The neighborhood, however, is very industrial and kind of scary after dark. The area is convenient to subways to Manhattan and taxis to and from there are affordable. The breakfast room is clean and spacious and the choices of hot and […] cold foods are good. This hotel advertises free parking as if there is a lot large enough to accommodate all guests, but there are really only about four spaces right in front of the hotel. All in all, if you need a clean, comfortable, rasonably-priced hotel that is close to Manhattan, this one will do just fine. I have stayed in this hotel three times. Continua a leggere
"Clean, comfortable, reasonable, great breakfast!"
Country Inn and Suites in Long Island City was just what we needed. It is convenient to the subway and close to Manhattan. The room had coffee maker, frig and microwave. The free breakfast included Belgian waffles, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit and several other items. We were very pleased.
"Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, NYC in Queens"
Very nice hotel. Relatively new it had that "new hotel smell". We were fortunate to have a view of Manhattan. Conviently near subway and bus service just minutes to NYC and other points in Queens, such as Long Island City area and Astoria too. So no need for a car but if you do happen to have one note that there is very limited parking and alternate […] side parking rules in effect (except weekends and holidays-whew!). The hotel staff was very respectable nice and quick. The maid service was good too. I went with my girlfriend and had a very nice time we would definitly check in to this hotel again. "Great price for NY"
I actually live in NYC but was in between places so got a great deal on this hotel room. Great location and price, very convenient for multiple subway access. Take the 7 train a block away for quick access to times square and grand central. Take the E train to World Trade center and downtown. Take the N, Q, R or F to Hearld Square and Macy's. If you're […] adventurous take the G to Brooklyn and explore Williamsburg. Near by in Long Island City is a first rate park (Gantry Plaza) that over looks the East River with excellent views of Manhattan, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building etc.. also great spots for brunch near this park. If you're lucky you'll get a room facing the city with spectacular views. I actually recommended to a friend who had booked a hotel in NJ which she ended up canceling and saving $200 by staying here and she was really excited about the view. Continua a leggere
"New and nice"
If visiting NYC and can't afford to stay in the city, or have to catch a flight out of LGA but don't want to be too far away, this is the place. Very conveniently located between both. Is a newer hotel, therefore still clean and nice.
"Recommended, but with an asterisk . . ."
If you're one of those visitors to NYC who uses your hotel mostly as a place to dump your stuff and doesn't spend much time there -- or don't care to soak in a "hotel experience" -- then this will work fairly well for you. I was there doing some business in Long Island, so I chose this hotel based mostly for location and convenience. It's not terrible, […] but it's not great, either. There's very little parking (not an issue for me, since I came by subway) but don't be fooled by promises of free parking -- there are only six spaces in front of the building. It's very close to a subway (Queensboro Plaza), so if you're looking to make a quick leap to Times Square, you can't beat the proximity to a subway that won't require three changes to get into the city. The rooms weren't quite what I expected, after having stayed in other similar hotels in this chain -- just one room, with a small fridge and microwave, with not much space to put anything. Decent TV and an alarm clock you can plug your iPod into. Bathroom just okay -- a bit shopworn already (isn;'t this hotel relatively new?) but a good shower with good water pressure. Free wi-fi in the room is a plus, too, though my connection was a bit unreliable (and calling the front desk is no help -- they'll simply tell you 'it works fine' and that'll be it). I found the front desk staff generally helpful and pleasant, with a quick check in, and a room ready for me well before the designated check-in time. So, points there. The free breakfast was just so-so. Nothing stale or old, as some have complained, but only one slow old toaster to handle the bagel and toast-heavy buffet, which caused a complete backup. Surrounding neighborhood might be an issue for some. It's not necessarily unsafe, but it may seem sketchy to those unfamiliar with New York neighborhood. The week I was there, it was noisy on the street at night, though that's not something the hotel can control. Just be aware that life continues on the streets well afte Continua a leggere
