"Not worth the money"
I've stayed at some of the nicest hotels at the most sought after locations around the globe, and I believe that this one is officially the single most overpriced hotel I've ever visited. The location is great as was the staff, which made the stay bearable, but the value for the money is not there.

"Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge"
This is an excellent hotel at the entrance to Machu Picchu itself. .Staff were excellent, food was very good and even the evening entertainment was enjoyable. The fact that it is at the entrance to Mach Picchu itself meant that I could be in there at 6.30 am before anyone else, wander about for an hour or so and then return to the hotel for breakfast […] and then go back for a more thorough visit to the site. It is an expensive hotel, but worth it for one night. Continua a leggere
"Best thing is the location"
OK hotel in the best location (only hotel next to the site)
"What a wonderful hotel and a great experience."
Even though this hotel is rather pricey, the experience is priceless. Staying at the hotel right beside Machu Picchu made the experience a lot more relaxing. During our tour of Machu Picchu you could return to your hotel to relax and take a break, you could stop for lunch and a drink (all included) and at the end of the day you didn't need to worry […] about catching a bus, you simply walked back to your room. You could then relax all evening enjoy the surrounding sights. The next morning was the same thing, no rushing around to get to the site, you wake up, get an amazing breakfast (all included) and walking right to the entrance to Machu Picchu. The staff was wonderul and very helpful, the food and wine was easily the best meals of our vacation, and the experience was truely wonderful. If I was ever to go back to Machu Picchu, I would, without question, stay at this hotel again. Continua a leggere
"The only Hotel at Machu Picchu"
This Hotel has the ideal location!! It is right at the entrance to machu Picchu so after walking around the ruins for the day and all the stairs you can walk right to your room and then to the jacuzzi. I would recommend this Hotel even though it is expensive.
"Unique experience"
It is on the expensive side but the location is unique. Service is first class. A few feet from the Machu Picchu site, one of the wonders of the world. Make sure to get Machu Picchu admission tickets when you make the reservation on some dates tickets could sell out.
"Only place next to Machu Picchu"
Cost is very high, but only place next to Machu Picchu. Service is outstanding, and all meals which are included are superb. Rooms are nice but not nearly as nice as their other properties (Monasterio in Cusco and Miraflores Park Hotel in Lima). During our stay the electricity was off for several hours, but not their fault -- local electric company […] doing some repairs. Continua a leggere
"A once in a lifetime experience"
Yes, I know it's expensive but it's worth it. The service at MPSL was unlike anything we've ever experienced and the views and facilities were nothing short of incredible. If you van fit it into your budget, stay here for one night because there is truly no other place like it in the world.
"A must stay"
Everyone told me that I had to stay here that had stayed here before me. I thought it was too expensive and almost didn't listen. I am glad I listened and stayed! It was much cheaper booking with hotels.com than with the company directly. Everyone was freindly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the food very memorable. The best part was waking […] up early to get in line for the morning hike and then going back to bed! Also, the night before, I had made a reservation for the jacuzzi as the sun went down. I was there by myself in the clouds and the birds! Two other reccomendations would be to diffinately hire a guide and also beware that there is no locker storage. I would have stayed in cuzco one night and stored extra luggage. It was alot further from the taxi drop off and the train station. Aques caleintes is steep. It is an adventure just getting here on this precarious perch, but so worth it! Continua a leggere

"Fantastic Location"
The Sanctuary Lodge was at the entrance to Machu Picchu. It is expensive, but well worth it. The room had a fantastic view of the mountain, but it was cloudy - plus I wasn't in my room much. I was hiking around Machu Picchu in the afternoon of my stay and most of the next morning. I would probably have gone with a cheaper room given the fact. Mainly […] older (60+) people staying at the Lodge. It is pretty quiet after the Machu Picchu closes. Continua a leggere

"great location"
If you have the budget do not hesitate. Food is very good and is included in the price (also alcohol) Very convenient if you expect to do the wayna picchu!
"One of a Kind"
Wonderful service, delicious meals, and the location adjacent to Machu Picchu can't be beat. There's a nice view of the ruins from the hot tub! Great showers feel even better after a long day of hiking around the park. It's a great (but expensive) addition to the experience.
"マチュピチュに近い"
値段はとても高いですが、とてもいいサービスでした。 水が8ソリする中、水道水が飲めること、チェックアウト後もシャワーを使わせてもらえる、朝食の質が良かったこと、など納得も出来ます。もう少し安ければ嬉しいですが・・・。 ただ写真のように正面に山が見える部屋ではありませんし、近いといっても入場には並ばないと入れません。
