Sretenskaya Hotel Mosca

Reasonably priced in a central location. Room is clean. Sauna downstairs has a small sauna pool, not a swimming pool. Breakfast is poor though.

Easy to reach most important places in Moscow. Even by walk the city center is not too far. Nice hotel.

This small russian hotel is quite good- 5 mins walking from metro. The room is quite roomy & the wireless internet works really well. Breakfast was great in a nicely deco dining room. One things you should be aware of is, print the russia name of hotel & add when you go- as there are no signage of the hotel in english.

We stayed two nights. The evening staff was very nice and helpful. Nice hotel. The room and bathroom very clean. I would recommend to my family and friends. We came home at night to sleep and were out early in the mornings. Breakfast needs improvement.

I've stayed in a lot of small hotels in Russia and I thought this was a charming enough deviation from the "norm" that I would take the time to write a brief review. It's not the cheapest hotel, but it is in a very good location and all hotels in Moscow that are not complete hovels are expensive! So on a comparative basis, it's not bad value for money. The […] hotel itself is very charming, almost "romantic". It's a little hard to find the entrance but when you walk inside it's quite an unexpected lobby/foyer, including a little atrium/beer garden. Rooms are not bad, average sized. A little worn (in a rustic, wood trimmed sort of way) but very clean. Bathrooms were modern. What motivated me to write this review, however, was the staff. Normally Russians are not overly renown for their service or friendliness. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaners were very friendly and the reception staff spoke very good English. I was in Moscow on a business trip but I think this would be an idea hotel as a base for tourism. The area is really lovely - one of the more vibrant and "old" parts of Moscow. It's a nice walk through pedestrian streets and beautiful Georgian-style buildings through to the area around the Bolshoi theatre (lots of restaurants) - about a mile away. I could not access internet. That was big problem for me.

This hotel is an excellent base from which to explore Moscow - just a few streets from the Metro (easy access to center and train stations), a short walk (maybe a 20 minute straight shot) to the Gum Shopping Center, Red Square, and The Kremlin - and the immediate area is bustling with restaurants and cafes. Also nearby is the Thermas Sauna, Rooms are […] simple and clean, and the water pressure is excellent. The courtyard garden/bar (with its oddly out-of-place tropical theme) is enjoyable and kitchy, and the breakfast is great - be on the lookout for the cottage cheese pancakes - fantastic! Das Hotel Sretenskaya liegt ca 2,6 KM vom Kreml, roten Platz & Gum entfernt. Und man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu fuß erreichen. Das ist sehr positiv wen man der kyrillischen Schrift nicht mächtig ist. Zur Not kan man sich einTaxi nehmen. Wobei zu beachten ist dass wenn man ein Taxi über das Hotel bestellt, teuerer ist als normal. Also lieber […] etwas entfernt von Touristengebieten die Hand heraushalten und vorher den Preis verhandeln. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es wird auch vom meisten Personal gutes englisch gesprochen. Die Zimmer waren überraschend gut gepflegt. Einzig die hebeanlage im Bad war für mich ungewöhnlich und beim nächtlichen Toilettengang könnte dieses etwas stören. Die Betten waren bequem. Es gab sogar deutsches TV-Programm (ZDF) Frühstück war auch gut & ausreichend. Es war für alle Geschmäcker etwas vorhanden. Sehr außergewöhnlich und schön war der begrünte Innenbereich. Ich würde, sollte ich wieder in Moskau nächtigen wollen, wieder im Hotel Sretenskaya übernachten. das Verhältnis Preis / Leistung hat gepasst. Un defecto grande de todos los hoteles rusos: lo difícil que es encontrarlos. Ni uno solo que no sea una gran torre o edificio tiene un sencillo cartel que indique que ahí se encuentra un hotel.

Erittäin mukava pieni hotelli lähellä keskustaa (esim. punainen tori kävelymatkan päässä). Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä, ja osasi hyvin englantia. Huoneet ja atmosfääri hyvin vanhahtava ja jollain tavalla elegantti. Huone oli iso, ja ääniä ei kuulunut mistään. Aamupala OK.

Hyggelige og imøtekommende medarbeidere, positivt førsteinntrykk med pen resepsjon og flott bar. Frokostsalen var intim, og maten der var god. Vi vil anbefale hotellet og kommer gjerne tilbake.
