    The location is great, the pantheon, campo di fiori and many other places are just a short walk away. You can also get a tram right outside, or a bus... about 2 mins walk away. Don't expect frills and fancy, but it is clean, comfortable enough for a good night's rest and the breakfast provided is also excellent.     Set in the very heart of Rome the 2 star Arenula Hotel is housed over 4 floors which are linked by a beautiful spiral staircase in a late 19th century building. It offers 50 simply but functionally furnished and comfortable rooms all with en-suite- individually controlled air conditioning and heating- satellite TV and direct dial telephone. In addition to the facilities listed the rooms feature a courtesy kit and the rooms on the top floors provide a lovely view over the roofs of the typical old houses of the area dating back to the last century. Guests can enjoy an excellent buffet breakfast the ideal way to begin the day which is based exclusively on fresh and authentic products and includes coffee- tea- chamomile- hot chocolate- freshly baked bread and croissants- cereals- muesli- jam- chocolate pastries- cream cheese- yogurts and orange juice. The Hotel has a 24 hour reception service and the multilingual front desk staff will be happy to help guests with local information or tourist advice as well as with booking tours or transfer services. There is also a free safety deposit box at the front desk for guests valuables. Private paid garages are available at a location nearby. As of 01Jan2011 a Tourist Tax on a per person and per night basis will be charged at the hotel which is not included in the total room price. Additional Information- Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

      Ottima soluzione per il soggiorno romano di una notte. Posizione in quartiere tranquillo e ben collegato tramite Metro B a pochi passi. Facilità di parcheggio nella strada antistante l'hotel. Stanza confortevole e dotata di servizi aggiuntivi rispetto alla media dei 3 stelle: cassaforte, minibar. Segnalazione particolare per la colazione a buffet, abbondante e di ottima qualità.

      La camera davvero confortevole e pulita, l'albergo un po' difficile da trovare (un citofono in un portone), ma comunque a un passo dalla metro Vittorio Emanuele. La proprietaria di una gentilezza squisita.

      L'hotel ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, le camere sono spaziose e molto pulite. Contrariamente a molti hotel di pari categoria, il bagno e' spazioso e la doccia e' molto ampia. In effetti non sembra di essere in un 3stelle, anche se superior. Il neo e' il ristorante, la qualità del cibo forse e' buona ma la preparazione no, i piatti hanno tutti lo stesso sapore!

    The place is inexpensive but no extras here either. The desk staff is not too friendly but do their job. Breakfast is fine in cramped rooms where you sign up for specific times to keep the crowd controlled. When we checked in, the bathroom had not been cleaned and there was hair left in the basin. Beds are all cots and they just add as many as you paid […] for them at booking. Three twins in a room was much too tight. The room was stuffy so we kept the door to the hall open in the evening to get some fresh air - which is strange to do in April. The AC did not work and the fan was noisy but did nothing to circulate air. Can't understand what was wrong with it. The hotel is a walk up and the hotel rooms start at the one level up and above. The main marble stair way is inviting enough but that's where the roman glamor ends. The rooms are shabby. But the location is really great and central to everything - the ghetto, trestavere, monuments, even the vatican was a nice walk. If you need a safe place to just sleep at night - perfect. If you feel the need to be pampered and take pictures of where you stayed...not so great. Continua a leggere

    The hotel is clean. The room and bathroom are basic, but that is really all we needed. The breakfast was basic, but again just what we needed. The location is PERFECT!! We walked everywhere (vatican, spanish steps, etc). I think the hotel is overpriced. Just down the street there is a hotel in the same location for 70euro.     Ze względu na położenie i obsługę bardzo dobrze. Standard pokoi pozostawia sporo do życzenia (zużyte, ale czyste), klimatyzacja nie działała, brak windy przy pokojach na 3 piętrze w wysokim budynku stanowić może utrudnienie.

    Havde booket 4 overnatninger på Hotel Arenula i håbet om at få et hotel med en god beliggenhed og et rimeligt service/komfortniveau. Min største anke er at der ingen dør mellem soveværelset og badeværelset er. Blot en tynd foldedør som ikke lukker ordentligt. På den måde bliver opholdet med ens kæreste knapt så romantisk som man kunne have drømt inden […] man tog afsted til Rom. Beliggenheden er central men dette betyder desværre også at man oplever en del støj fra gaden. Så man kan ikke sove med åbne vinduer om natten. Desværre larmer A/C-anlægget så meget at man heller ikke kan sove med det tændt. Dermed er det svært at få noget søvn på Hotel Arenula når det er varmt. Servicen er stort set ikke eksisterende.     Hotellet ligger rigtig godt- tæt på Trastevere, Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori etc. Hotellet er ikke noget vildt, men god kaffe til en lidt kedelig morgenmadsbuffet.

    Olimme majoittuneena 4 yötä hotelliin ja olimme erityisen tyytyväisiä sen sijaintiin. Hotellilta oli lyhyt matka nähtävyyksiin ja liikkuminen paikasta toiseen onnistui kävellen. Hotelli oli perussiisti ja asiallinen sekä rauhallinen yöaikaankin. Aamupala oli riittävä ja hyvä. Henkilökunta palveli osaavasti englannin kielellä ja saimme etukäteen tilattua […] mm. taksin lentokentälle (yöllä) hotellin kautta, koska siihen aikaan ei ollut enää julkisia liikennevälineitä käytössä.     Riktigt bra läge.Fin utsikt över takåsarna. Det finns ingen hiss men för oss spelade det ingen roll. Frukosten gav variationsmöjligheter. Helt nöjd !

    Arenula hostel is closed to all the main site of historic center of Roma. The problem is that is a little bit far away from metro stration (the closest is colosseo at 15min by foot) Except that, all i ask : bed, bathroom, air conditionned, clean, wifi.

    Et særdeles centralt beliggende hotel - fin rengøringsstandard - god og venlig service - morgenmad med alle valgmuligheder inden for det rimelige, når der ikke er et egentligt køkken.     Badværelse var meget beskid, og der var ikke meget venlighed ved personale især ham der serverer morgenmad, manden var skrup forvirede og ikke spor venligt. Der kunne bliver et hyggelit hotel hvis det var en anelse rent.

    At vågne op midt i Rom er i sig selv en stor fordel. Vi kunne spadsere til det hele. Personalet var flinke og hjælpsomme, selvom der ikke var så meget hjælp om vejledning til de forskellige aktiviteter, men heldigvis var der en information på Campo de Fiori. Udmærket hotel til prisen.

    Godt hotel og særdeles cetralt beliggende. Prisen svarer til standard - det var rent og ordentligt og god morgenmad! Vil absolut anbefale det til andre, som skal til Rom.

    Hotellet ligger fantastisk ifht. Roms diverse seværdigheder. Placeret i den ældre del af byen, tæt på Campo de fiori samt Piazza Navona. Eneste lille minus var en halv hidsig kineser som betjente morgenmaden.

    Glimrende hotel. Meget simpelt værelse, men rent og pænt, god seng, og der var det, der skulle være. Fin morgenmad. Receptionisten var ikke særlig serviceminded, men det øvrige personale var søde. Hotellet havde en supergod beliggenhed med alting inden for gåafstand. Kan især anbefales pga. det. Der var ingen støj fra veje el.a.

    Hotellet er sentralt og greit og ligger til i gå avstand til de mest sentrale turist stedene. Rommet er greit. Det var en liten skade på skyvedøra til dusjen. Ellers var rengjøringen ok. Frokosten serveres i et noe trangt rom i 2.etg., den var enkel. Hotellet er uten heis og har 4 etasjer og trappen kan nok kanskje virke tung for noen. Betjeningen i […] ekspedisjonen var behjelpelig med gode råd, men noen av de ansatte i ekspedisjonen virket mindre villige og interesserte. Totalt sett var det et greit sted å bo. Continua a leggere

    Supergod som base - tæt ved Forum, Colosseum, den gamle bydel (Pantheon, Campo de fiori, Piazza Navona). Roligt kvarter. Venlige og hjælpsomme folk på hotellet. Includeret morgenmad ikke superspændende, men den er der! Ingen luksus - men rar atmosfære. Tæt på busser til diverse centrale steder i Rom, 10-15 minutters gang til metro ved colosseum.
