Hotel Meraviglia is cheap but the property is in good repair and the rooms are cleaned daily. We had trouble getting in when we arrived late at night... (22.15). No one was there to greet us but as soon as we rang the hotel's phone number (I'd recommend taking this with you as it's not on display anywhere) someone was with us in 3 minutes. The building is easy to find if you look for the address, but difficult to find if you look for a sign! The sign for the hotel is small and the building itself is part of a terraced row of shops and apartment buildings. We walked past the hotel as the outside of the building looks like an apartment block. The room we had was a decent size bedroom with an en suite bathroom at the front of the hotel. The shower was really powerful and everything was cleaned on a daily basis. The area got a bit noisy a couple of nights as there's a bar in the square outside, but it depends how light a sleeper you are. Meraviglia is no 5* hotel and there are no dining area but it's a great place to stay if you're just looking for a room from which to explore the city. It's pretty much on top of the metro station and it's only one stop from the termini (or 20mins walking distance). We had a really nice time there and would go back again but if you're expecting the Ritz you'll be disappointed. da Gemma da Leicester il 25/03/2013
