The hotel lobby and terrace were very nice. I would love to spend a lot of time on their upstairs terrace full of lounge chairs overlooking the ocean.... Nice breakfast and service. Our room was a little odd and very sparse in the decorating department, but fine. We were in a handicapped room, so it was very large. A/C worked GREAT! Beds and pillows hard as usual, nothing different there from other hotels. Great dining experience next door at Oltremare. This hotel worked as a final night before the airport, BUT it costs 20 euros each way to/from the airport - be sure to take a Fiumoncino taxi! (Not a Rome taxi.) The Roman port town ruins of Ostia Antica are nearby as well - seems worth checking out. da Ashley da Texas il 21/04/2013
