Ottima posizione vicino all'aeroporto se si arriva in piena notte come noi. Camere pulite e confortevoli, buona colazione. Da consigliare.

Ho soggiornato per una notte appena scesa dall'aereo e prima di recarmi nel centro di londra. Pulito, comodo e con una buona colazione. A soli 10 minuti di taxi dall'aeroporto.

Lo consiglio vivamente a chi arriva o parte dall'aeroporto di Stansted all'alba o a tarda ora. Shuttle comodo (3 pounds each), anche se taxi ha un costo simile se non siete soli (8 pounds). Pulito, colazione buona, non eccelsa.

"Disappointed"
I don't expect I pay this much and have a mouldy bath surround and dirty tiles in the bathroom. Defective wifi and defective TV remote. Attention to detail in the room sadly lacking, dirty carpet, poor paintwork. A shame as the public areas are nice. Won't stay again, nothing special.

Nice hotel, my partner and I were there in February - very cold weather - front door opening alot let the bitter cold come into the sitting area a bit too often for my liking. Rooms were a good size, bed was very comfy - bathroom was a bit small and mouldy parts on the roof due to no ventilation. "Mercure hotel-Letchworth"
We initially booked dinner, then decided to stay the night. The hotel had 3 functions on. The first room we were given involved access via reception of one of the functions, everyone milling around in black tie. The room was large, impersonal and freezing. We asked to move and received a smaller room , far cossier, warm, and shower cubicle as opposed […] to bath + curtain. The new room was perfectly comfortable, more private and homely. The meal was excellent and reception was helpful if under-manned. The bar was also under-manned with delays getting drinks. The restaurant food was good as was the service. The hotel was more 3 star than 4 star. We did not use the gym/spa facilities. Easy to find and conveniently located. An enjoyable stay overall. Continua a leggere

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful weekend at the Mercure Letchworth Hall, the restaurant on site served a beautiful Sunday lunch with excellent service.

Everything about this hotel was good, especially the buffet breakfast, I can't remember the last time I had a sausage like it. My only complaint wasn't about the hotel as such, but when one is travelling for business it would be beneficial for expenses, tax purposes etc for the bill to correspond with the amount paid when booking as the commission is […] taken off prior to the bill being prepared, in my instance this comment is petty, but if one were to stay more than 3 nights then the commission would build up and the possibility of not being able to reclaim the full amount paid becomes a reallity. The hotel has the feeling of a grand old manor house but isn't at all stuffy. Our room was incredibly comfortable with a great big bed, the best quality linen and air conditioning, which helped as we visited in a heatwave. The setting is lovely and we would definitely consider commuting from here rather than stay in London. It isn't a hotel for people […] who like nightlife though! "Near miss in the English country side"
From the all of pictures, it would seem that this is a "perfect" English hotel. Remember, however how bad most UK hotels are. The setting is perfect, the hotel quaint, the rooms surprisingly large, the beds, if you order and pay for a large room are about as big as you are going to get in the UK, but forget about comfort. It was hard as a rock. The […] A/C was pretty pathetic as well. The problem was noise. We were placed in a wing that housed a wedding party. Initially we were able to close the window to cut out the sounds of talking, but about 11:00 PM they cranked up the the Rave/Techno music and the wall in our room, being common with the wedding hall became the sounding board of a gigantic loudspeaker. Finally, after my screaming tirade to management, they changed us to a smaller, slightly more distant room, but offered no apology or compensation. Most importantly, do NOT eat dinner at the restaurant. While the service was most pleasant, the food was unseasoned and terrible.
