Pulito, moderno in buona posizione, nella zona hotelera proprio sulla spiaggia. La spiaggia è molto bella, ben curata ed attrezzata con lettini ed ombrelloni inclusi nel pernottamento. Non ho usufruito della colazione ne di altri pasti quindi non posso lasciare alcun commento in merito. L'hotel può essere preso in considerazione anche per sogiorni più lunghi

All'arrivo dall'Italia non ho trovato la stanza prenotata che mi è stata assegnata solo il giorno dopo perdendo, di fatto, il sovrapprezzo pagato per una notte. Io avevo la camera con Jacuzzi doppia e vista oceano. Avevo la possibilità di mangiare al self service o in uno qualunque dei tre ristotanti. Assolutamente positivo quello di atmosfera e poi il giapponese e la steak house. Il self service, di per se, è ottimo con cucina quasi sempre aperta e drink a tutte le ore. I cuochi sono gentili ed il personale di servizio è molto buono. A parte il disguido iniziale tutto è andato per il meglio

"In centro città"
Se pur vero che Cancun è generalmente costasa anche in zona centro, lontano dalla zona hotelera, l'hotel a prezzo pieno risulta piuttosto caro. La camera è pulita e alla reception il personale è cordiale, nei dintorni parecchi bar e ristoranti, ma la stanza è assolutamente priva di comfort. Impossibile dormire neanche durante le ore centrali della notte. […] Credo che le pareti fossero di carta. Si sente qualsiasi rumore, il letto è una piazza e mezza per due persone e il materasso sfondato... Ottimo per una doccia, ma non certo per farci vacanza! "Buon hotel"
Alcune camere (tra cui quella a noi assegnata) aveva un'unica finestra che dava..... sul corridoio.....dove c'èl'accesso alle altre stanze.... completamente chiuso e quindi senza possibilità di ricircolo dell'aria. "Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo in downtown cancun"
L'hotel è nuovo, le camere confortevoli, anche se le finestre danno sui corridoi interni, non c'è il phon in bagno ma per il resto è tutto pulito in ordine. Lo staff è molto cortese e parla inglese. L'hotel si trova a 10 min a piedi dalla stazione dell'ADO, cosa molta comoda per gli spostamenti successivi in Messico. L'unica pecca è che l'ultima notte […] passata lì è stato impossibile dormire fino a tarda notte, era rumorosissimo, forse per la grande affluenza di ospiti che chiaccheravano nei corridoi, si sentivano i televisori accesi fino a tardi e il via vai e le telefonate della reception. This is a budget friendly hotel that is within walking distance to market 28 as well as walmart. It is not in the busy hotel zone. You can walk to 2 car rental places as well as several good street restaurants/ cafes. Safe locked garage parking as well as a guard on duty 24hrs. "A nice surprise!"
This room was far nicer than we expected. The bed and pillows very very comfortable, sheets were nice. Bathroom and shower were beautiful. Free WiFi was a plus! Lots of steps. "Not for a family"
No microwave,fridge,coffee machine,hair dryer,bath tub & locker not working. Receptionists:one in the mng shift doesn't speak or understand English he uses google translate to communicate,eve shift girl speaks little bit but very rude; she has "NO" for everything even without understanding what was requested. Third one of night shift (23:00-7:00) speaks […] v good English and is very helpful. Manager is not supportive too. Everybody including manager but except one at night kept on lying that they don't have access to kitchen of the restaurant to heat the bottle of milk for baby.My baby kept on crying for 2 days after 3 pm till 7 am but they didn't care at all but lied again and again but they use microwave to heat their eatables. Room service doesn't clean the room if you are inside. Receptionist after 3 pm said you must go out if you want your room to be cleaned. I asked why. She replied, "I don't know but you must go out".AN EXTREMELY RUDE LADY. Locker is out of order. They even didn't say it is not working. Toilet is often dirty but room service doesn't like to come immediately to clean. Wash basin is round that spills water on the floor. Suites Gaby is a great hotel, especially for the price. The room was much nicer than I expected. It's very simple, but very clean, modern, and nice. The bathroom was in great shape and the shower was lovely with a very soothing shower head. The staff and the manager were very friendly. the room was spacious and clean. internet connection was spotty and had to be in the lobby to ensure a good connection. Hotel was conveniently located near markets and food court. A store was nearby and good restaurants. The hotel was quiet, clean and tidy and the staff were helpful. "Reliable hotel in the hear of Cancun city"
I completed my third visit to Suites Gaby in Cancun in January 2013. As before the my hotel room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. This isn't a luxury hotel and tends toward the economy spectrum so the contents were nice but not opulent. The telephone, plumbing, television, internet connection, and A/C all worked as expected. I didn't need much […] in the way of service from the staff but they were capable, pleasant, and efficient when I did require their services. The hotel itself seems if fairly good repair and clean. The location is near Market 28 so it's close to plenty of dining locations. If you stay at this hotel make time to visit La Parrilla Restaurant about two blocks away, it's a quick walk. La Parrilla has mariachi musicians nightly and the food is good. Each time I've been there the clientele has been from diverse locations. This last time I met Canadians, Russians, and Japanese. Overall I got what I expected from the hotel. Remember, this is an economy hotel. My per-night cost was $45 plus taxes during the high season. I plan to stay there again when I go to Cancun. This is a NO FRILLS hotel. That being said, Suites Gaby is a very clean, basic, no nonsense hotel. You get two beds, nightstand, TV and towels. That's it. No soach, shampoo, wash cloth. The room is extremely clean. There is no elevator, so you have to drag your luggage up the flights of stairs to your room. Room was very clean. They decorated toilet nicely. Right next to Mercado 28. The only thing is that the AC never cooled off. It cost $200 pesos to get a taxi to get to the airport, which was great. 25min to the airport. Very reasonable price. Would definately stay here again. "One day at gaby suites cancun"
We stayed I cancun for 8 days. For one week we stayed at OMNI hotel . And one day at gaby. Vet nice location and you really feel that you are in Mexico. Would have wanted to stay longer there as there were many restaurants around to try. We were two couples coming to Cancun prior to our stay in Playa Del Carmen. We needed a hotel in Cancun for the night. We read the reviews on Hotels.com, and that is why we chose Suites Gaby. It was just as advertised. Very clean. Very friendly staff. And there was no extra fees whatsoever. Added plus was Mercado 28 across the street, so we had very […] good food at a reasonable price and the ladies got to shop for some souvenirs. Rooms were very clean but small. There is no elevator making it difficult to carry luggage to room. Amenities appeared to be new as if the room had been recently refurbished.
