great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained and the staff was friendly. I thought they only included a continental breakfast, but they had a pretty nice breakfast, offering breads, fruit, eggs, waffles, etc.

The hotel was nice and clean with comfortable beds.Room didn't have a fridge or microwave,but wouldn't choose this hotel again for lack of fridge and microwave for the rate I paid. Right off the freeway.

Enjoyed our stay! Staff extremely personable and willing to assist and accommodate our requests and needs. Lobby is beautiful and offers several areas to relax! Breakfast was wonderful! Evenings in the pool and hot tub were extremely relaxing. Loved the room decor and color schemes. Will definitely stay here again!!

I will remember my stay at this hotel for a long, long time. It was close to perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent. The guests were all smiling, except for one guy that seemed to be hungover. Nothing was broken; everything worked. Everything about this hotel was wonderful except the curtains won't close and my window faced the freeway and the lights in the parking lot. Needless to say it was really hard to sleep. If they would fix this I would have loved my stay.

"overall a good affordable hotel"
We have stayed in $350 and up hotels in San Antonio, we choose to stay here because we were going to do activities in the NE part of town. Overall the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The continental breakfast selection wasn't too great but there are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. I definately will go back and stay here when in San Antonio […] and save a few dollars. "front desk service Not Good"
tried to check in early because we were meeting up with people. Front desk said no they were to booked, we would have to wait until 3:00 or after. Disappoined but understood. Called the 1800 number at 8:00pm so they could make sure my room was held. After 13 minutes of waiting I hung up. Called the hotel directly after calling information. Direct hotel […] # not on my Hotels.com receipt. Was told by the front desk if I was not going to be there by 11:00pm I must call back and inform the night desk. Explained I would be there to please hold my room. Showed up at 1:30am, front door was locked and clerk wouldn't open it. Another guest came out so then I finally entered. Went to front desk checked in, asked for change so I could get a soda out of the vending machine. Went to my 3rd floor room dropped my suitcase. Went to get a soda and no vending machine on the third floor. Not a vending machine on the second floor either. Went down to front desk and she tells me oh the vending machines are one the first and fourth floor. Could of said something when I asked for change for a soda and she gave me the key to 3rd floor. Next morning lady at front desk checked me out and I wasnt given a receipt because she said the night clerk should have done it. Good thing Hotels.Com gave me one. I enjoyed my short stay at this Schertz, Fairfield Inn. Very stylish, clean and quiet with all the basic tech needs. I didn't have a shower cap and mentioned it to the cleaning staff member. When I returned in the late afternoon there was one placed on the bathroom counter. When setting the heat level I found it to be still too cool. Free breakfast […] is a nice bonus. The location is perfect: 15 minutes from New Braunfles and 20 from San antonio; many restaurants are very close; walmart and HEB are very close. Very clean. Excellent parking lot. Breakfast: excellent continental. Breakfast room: little bit crowded: go there early. AC unit is in the room but is controlled by digital control on the wall! nice. This is […] a very fine 2+half star hotel, and can not be bit in price. By far, it is better or at least the same service than a hotel just in New Braunfles which costs much more. I strongly recommend it. Remember: it is not a 5 star hotel. I f you want 5 star: go to Riverwalk in San Antonio. The hotel is very new and clean. The rooms have large flat screens and have a very contemporary look and feel. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The complimentary breakfast is a very good value for the money (self service waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, etc.). The rates were very affordable especially compared to the more expensive hotels in New […] Braunfels. This location is only 15 minutes away from new Braunfels and the rates are much more reasonable than staying in New Braunfels.

The staff is incredible. I travel 100 nites a year and this is a 5 star staff. They work harder than staffs on 5 star hotels. They are keepers and should be promoted.
