Al Pescatore Cefalù

semplice, si buona posizione, ma non è assolutamente un 4 stelle io direi piuttosto 2! hotel antiquato, personale non sempre aggiornato e chiaro nelle risposte e nelle informazioni.

After staying at several other hotels during my visit to Italy, I found Al Pescatore Hotel in Cefalu to be my VERY best experience, even compared to several much more expensive hotels. Al Pescatore was immaculately clean, very modern and totally comfortable and quiet with an awesome view of the Mediterranean. The location is great, an easy walk to the […] town center and attractions with taxis available as well. But best of all was the wonderful Sicilian family that owns and runs this hotel. Ms. Anna, the owner and her daughters truly treated me like family. They always had a smile for me and willingly helped me with every need I had, Ms. Anna even made phone calls on my behalf on her cell phone. She is a truly a "people person" who makes you feel "at home" and her daughters are equally kind and helpful. Their morning breakfast was delightful and included fabulous cannoli and other excellent Sicilian pastries along with many Italian coffee options. There is a very nice restaurant and also a sandwich shop/bar in the same building called Al Solito Posto ("The Usual Place") with great, reasonably-priced foods and desserts and a great counter-girl, Francesca. Overall, this hotel deserves a very high rating and Signora Anna said they would probably receive an additional star next time due to all the investments and upgrades the family has recently made to the hotel. Large second floor balcony with ocean view a big plus. Location across from police station safe and within walking distance to town. Breakfast exceptional. Saturday AM market by hotel was a gem and unknown to tourists staying in town.

Hotel is on the otskirts of the beautiful Cefalu.The area is nice it has lovely little harbour and you its in walking distance to the old town Cefalu. Hotel has small shop and bar which is very convenient especialy if you don't know area and its open (all the time) - it was open for easter and bank holidays.We had lovely room with a balcony to the main […] road which it was nice to observe lokals driving... shame the big tree was covering lovely view to the harbour. I can't say breakfast was very good but you had few options - cereals,lots of cakes (??) jam and butter. But it is noisy so if you wan't quiet night then don't stay there but if you don't mind bit of night noise then is nice place to stay.We stayed only for one night which it was perfect.I would more recommend it as passing hotel then long term holiday hotel. Bra och vänlig personal. Vi hade fin utsikt mot havet med en fantastisk stor balkong där hela resesälskapet på sex vuxna fick gott om plats. Eftersom havet och balkongen ligger mot norr hade vi ingen sol men man kan inte få allt. På hemsidan stod det att frukost ingick i priset. Då vi fick bekräftelsen framgick motsatsen varvid jag kontaktade HOTELS.COM […] och de meddelade att frukost ingick. Väl på hotellet blev vi åter varse att frukost inte ingick. Buen Hotel en todos los aspectos

Das Hotel hat uns enorm gefallen, weil es so typisch italienisch ist. Es ist etwas ausserhalb von Cefalu gelegen, gleich hinter dem Hügel 'la Rocca'. Da es sich nicht in der Altstadt befindet ist es mit dem Auto leicht erreichbar und Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Die Hotelzimmer haben Balkone und diejenigen auf die Meerseite haben durch die Pinienbäume […] eine teilweise Sicht auf das Meer. Die Altstadt Cefalu ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgiebig, nebst Brot mit den typisch italienischen Süssgebäcken. Wir haben in einigen Berichten gelesen, dass das Hotel recht laut sei. Wir hatten jedoch eine sehr ruhige Nacht und konnten problemlos schlafen. Das Hotel können wir bestens empfehlen für Personen, die es schätzen in einem typisch italienischen Hotel zu übernachten, welches sich zwar nicht in der Altstadt befindet, dafür aber gut zu Fuss und mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Jag bokade hotell mest pga priset och då allt omkring var bokat. Hotellet i sig är helt ok, ren och personalen är trevlig. Frukost är ok beroende på vad man gillar, mest sötsaker.Den ligger lite udda på en berg så om du har ingen transport och inte gillar att gå i värmen, är det inget för dig,men om man har bil eller annan transport är den utmärkt. […] Ligger efter hamnen och det finns inte mycket omkring. Cefalu stads strand och stan ligger 30 min promenad och det finns en liten sten strand vid annan hotell 15min promenad åt andra hållet som är lite mera privat och jätte fin. Men gå kommer du göra. This hotel is only worth sleeping in. Nothing fancy at all. Breakfeast was allmost no existing. It´s cheap, and therefor also not providing anything other then a bed. We had a great terrace though and the people where nice.

Bon confort, propreté. je suis satisfait.
