Cortesia, gentilezza e professionalità da parte di tutto lo Staff. Ricca e piacevole colazione. L'ingresso laterale e leggermente sottoposto non da il giusto rilievo all'albergo. Nella stessa strada Cibus(segnalato gambero rosso) enoteca con degustazione di piatti siciliani .

il personale è professionale, l'albergo ha una posizione invidiabile ed è tenuto in ottimo stato. le camere sono di adeguata dimensione,manca la finestra nel bagno ma buonaanche la pulizia .La 1° colazione non eccezionale, come può a Palermo scarseggiare la frutta fresca.

Ho pernottato in quest'albergo diverse volte in passato, ma stavolta ho trovato la camera e la struttura in generale mal messa. Camera pulita con molta sufficienza, lenzuola con odore poco gradevole, fili che escono da tutte le parti, televisione microscopica, telo doccia in passato bianco, ora sul nero. In realtà adesso si trova qualche offerta low […] cost, ma se economico vuol dire ridurre le spese di manutenzione, consiglierei di continuare con i vecchi prezzi. Continua a leggere

Un vero hotel a 4 stelle, servizi effettivi e funzionanti, cortesia e ottima posizione!

Ho scelto l'Hotel Garibaldi per via delle eccellenti recensioni lette su hotels.com e per via del prezzo (ho approfittato dell'offerta "non rimborsabile". Devo dire che l'albergo ha superato le mie aspettative. Lo consiglierei e ci tornerei.

Ottimo hotel in posizione centrale con parcheggio gratuito e abbondante colazione

L'hotel si trova a fianco del teatro Politeama, a due passi da moltissime altre attrattive. Molto comodo come posizione per chi deve muoversi a piedi e con i mezzi ed estremamente comodo per chi deve muoversi in auto, visto che c'è il parcheggio interno (tra l'altro compreso nel prezzo della camera e impagabile come servizio, visto il problema del traffico […] in città) Ottimo arredamento, easy nella hall e di design nelle camere, pulizia perfetta, a parte la finestra in legno del bagno, distrutta dall'umidità della doccia. Armadio, letto (rigido), scrivania e pavimenti pulitissimi. Piacevole, discreto e professionale il personale. Colazione in linea con le caratteristiche dell'hotel. Consigliato a tutti. personale gentilissimo, ottima prima colazione, solo la rumorosità delle vie vicine lasciava un po' a desiderare. Ricordate al ricevimento della prenotazione expedia per evitare di pagare la connessione internet

Sono palermitana ma vivo fuori Italia ed in fatto di soggiorni in albergo mi considero essere esigente. Il soggiorno all'Hotel Garibaldi é stato piacevolissimo ed ha reso il soggiorno a Palermo piu' piacevole del solito. Tutto era funzionale, la camera pulitissima, silenziosa, ampia ed il letto comodissimo. Il bagno di generose dimensioni con i sanitari […] moderni mi é piaciuto molto. La possibilità di farsi un thé o di bere un po' d'acqua senza dover pagare subito tariffe da minibar, é anche un dettaglio che accresce la sensazione di ospitalità. Ho avuto occasione di scambiare due chiacchere con Roberto, portiere notturno, che si é mostrato una persona simpatica, disponibile al dialogo e con una gentilezza e cordialità apprezzatissime. Si é scusato centinaia di volte di non avere piu' posto disponibile nel parcheggio (errore mio che ero tornata troppo tardi durante la settimana) Un vero piacere trovare del personale con una tale etica lavorativa costruttiva a Palermo. A proposito di parcheggio, lo sapete che a Palermo é una piaga il parcheggiare, soprattutto di sera, quindi questa possibilità gratuita, fra l'altro, all'Hotel Garibaldi, é una vera chicca che valorizza enormement l'hotel. Colazione varia e ricca, anche se la sala colazioni é un po' in contrasto con l'ampiezza delle stanze. Sicuramente tornero' a stare all'hotel Garibaldi, avendo trovato adesso un albergo che corrisponda alla mia idea di comfort. Hotel moderno, pulito e comodo come posizione in quanto vicino alla via principale del centro. Ottimo per avere il parcheggio all'interno. Colazione gradevole e ricca. 2 lati negativi: la camera che dava sulla via principale a fianco del teatro Politeama, è trafficatissima e il rumore da fastidio (a Palermo tutti suonano il clackson in continuazione) […] Sarebbe meglio farsene dare una che da sul cortile, l'avevo chiesta ma non mi hanno accontentato; La finestra del bagno, sopra alla vasca, scrostata che poco si addice a un 4 stelle Continua a leggere

A giugno abbiamo passato tre notti in questo hotel. Il personale è gentile, il servizio impeccabile,c'è una sala dedicata per la lettura di riviste e quotidiani.Abbiamo parcheggiato la macchina nel cortile dell'hotel e non l'abbiamo usata per tutta la durata del soggiorno.Comoda soluzione perchè il traffico a Palermo è molto caotico e i trasporti pubblici […] sono vicinissimi all'hotel.La camera era di buon livello: televisore lcd e collegamento a internet gratuito . Unico problema é il condizionamento dell'aria che dovrebbe essere orientato in modo da non soffiare aria fredda sulla testa degli ospiti quando sono a letto. ma sopratutto è il rumore della ventola ad essere insopportabile e perciò abbiamo dovuto spegnerlo. Ma aprendo la finestra si sentiva il rumore del condizionatore centrale di altro edificio vicino.Soluzione: finestra chiusa e condizionatere in camera spento.comunque mi sento di dare ,tutto sommato una valutazione generale abbastanza positiva.Ah! Personale cortese ed efficiente, la stanza e come nelle foto, il parcheggio è piccolo ho lasciato l'auto in strada.

Hotel centrale, nuovo, purtroppo la camera era un po rumorosa e con temperatura ambiente bassina. Su nostra richiesta ci è stata cambiata e quest'ultima era perfetta.

We enjoyed this hotel. Parking was very reasonable, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very abundant. Most importantly, staff was courteous and helpful, and went way out of their way to answer our questions and support our travels.

Great value. Was clean and definitely 4 stars by international standards. Breakfast buffet was good, surrounding area is not near sightseeing but there is great shopping in the area. A major bus stop is nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Personally, my wife and I loved this hotel. Excellent, friendly, helpful service. Room was clean. Internet was easy to access (Cost is 5 Euro for 24 hours). Location seemed to be within short walking distance to everything we were interested in. The breakfast was excellent every morning. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and the reasonably priced parking was a life-saver. The free breakfast buffet was terrific. Staff members were courteous and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very nice but there were two small things I did not like. The lobby is below ground so you have to take the bags down stairs. The other thing is they charge for the internet 10 Euro for three days, on this trip I stayed in 7 hotels and they were the ONLY one who charged for internet.

This hotel does everything a hotel should do. We stayed seven nights and had no complaints. Good-sized and modern bathroom although the room was a bit small. Great breakfast - fried eggs, bacon, custard-cream pastries, fresh rolls etc.etc. Hotel is perfectly located for airport bus and city sightseeing/Monreale bus and Spinnato Antico Caffè (where the […] cakes are to die for). But it's a long trek up and down the Via Maqueda or Via Roma each time to the more atmospheric parts of the city and the more interesting eateries . We managed to park our car in the hotel, but it does get busy in the peak periods. Overall, we would recommend this hotel - it's not a cheap option, but you get what you pay for. Continua a leggere

The Garibaldi whilst not luxury is extremely adequate and the staff very helpful. The location was excellent - plenty of bars and restaurants around, shopping and the sightseeing bus stops right outside the hotel. The pullman from the airport is 2 minutes across the square and busy route to the beach within abut 5 mins walk. I would have no hesitation […] is returning - great value for money. This feels more like a youth hostel than a 4 star hotel. But the location is great. Breakfast served orange juice in plastic cups rather than glasses - and the basement rooms are very bare - which is what gives it the hostel feeling. For that the rooms are OK - well ventilated and air conditioned. This hotel is perfectly located in terms of sight-seeing, shopping, greta restaurants and even walking to the port and beach side. I was thoroughly surprised by the convenience of the location for those wanting to see Palermo! I would definitely recommend the hotel for those on holiday wanting to make the most of sight seeing, shopping and eating in […] Palermo. This hotel is in the heart of it all. The hotel is situated outside the square in the centre of Palermo. We were only there for one night and the hotle is clean, newly renovated rooms, and great guest service. If you like to wander then you are surrounded with their culture and many restaurants. The hotel was close to the city centre with lots of shopping around. There is no view, bt most business otels do not have views. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was very good. The airconditioning did not work initially but when raised to the reception was switcehd on and worked fairly well afterwards. Breakfast was decent continental affair. […] Overall a good stay. Good location entrance bit hard to find hint get a back room

Very nice hotel in a great location with free parking.We could walk to all the major sights and enjoy Palermo and not worry about our car. Excellent breakfasts and very good recommendations to neighborhood restaurants.

The hotel feels like being in a hospital. It's a depressing place, uncomfortable beds dreary surroundings. Internet did not work in the room. The curtains looked dirty, the room was uncomfortable.

They would only recommend 2 restaurants which was odd. The room was big. The bahroom was a trip and fall hazard though. They need a grab bar in the shower. WiFi was too expensive.

Really nice hotel situated near the middle of Palermo and half a block from the airport shuttle bus stop. The room was very large and well appointed. Breakfast was pretty fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff was professional and the breakfast buffet was great.

A bit far from the town centre but still within walking range. Parking in the hotel is very convenient since it can be difficult to find street parking in town.

The Hotel Garibaldi is located a comfortable walk from the harbor and conveniently located on several bus lines. Even though we had called ahead to let the hotel staff know we were arriving on a 6:30 am ferry, we did not expect to be able to check into our room at 7 am. But the staff found one for us (it helps to travel during the off-season!) and let […] us check in right away. This was a wonderful way to rest and freshen up before going out to enjoy the city. I concur that a street-side room is somewhat loud, but I was pleased with the visible security cameras and the desk clerk watching all of them. Since we had an unfortunate incident in Rome with a person scaling two stories in an attempt to enter our room through a window, the security at Hotel Garibaldi made me feel better. The front desk staff were always helpful and gave good advice about buses, including the airport bus. A good map of the city is provided right at the front desk, and the gentleman we queried knew the main bus lines by heart. You may be told there is a fee to use the Wi-Fi, but if you book through Hotels.com (looks like Expedia at the hotel end) they will honor the promise of free usage. They may need to be reminded. Our only complaint at all, and it is extremely minor, is that the chambermaid failed to replenish the tea service in our room each day. After the first day, we requested more tea, which was provided, but the next day when we asked the new desk clerk for teabags, she was uncertain what we meant (translation issue, I'm sure) and we gave up. I think this only stood out to us because every other aspect of the hotel and its service were spot on. This one little detail seemed a strange thing to overlook. We were 2 couples staying 5 nights. Excellent location, staff and service!

Recommended with only the caveat that the outside rooms are noisy during the day. An inside room is perfect. Mine was large, immaculately clean, and spacious. The breakfast was excellent consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage along with cold meats, cheeses, and a large variety of rolls and sweets. We opted for the Hotel Garibaldi based the many positive reviews and was not at all disappointed! They arranged a 50 Euro airport transfer for us, which solved the issue of finding the hotel. While the front of the hotel does not appear on the Google map, the Teatro Politeamo does; it is huge, directly across the street and therefore makes finding […] the hotel a breeze.The entrance of the Hotel Garibaldi is down a very gradual flight of stairs, not at all a problem with large luggage (once in side, there is an elevator). We rented a car (had a good map) and found the driving to be no worse than any large American city, and free parking a great plus! The rest of the time we walked around Palermo and never felt unsafe. Most of the staff spoke english and were very helpful. The breakfast is extensive by anyone''s standards: eggs, sausages fruit, cereals, juices and a multitude of pastries, cakes and breads. Our rooms and bathrooms were clean, contemporary & spacious, also had a well stocked mini-bar and computer accessibility. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Garibalsi. Continua a leggere

Hotel is in a very convenient location but being on a main square can be very noisy. Breakfast is not great.

This is an excellent choice for visiting Palermo. Although the hotel is quite well hidden away ( a larger sign would help!) it has its own car park which is a real bonus in this city, where driving is a nightmare. It means you can leave the car and go on foot to visit the many sights. The breakfasts were delicious - excellent and continuous buffet and […] cappuccinos - and the rooms well appointed and clean. In a really convenient spot - about 10 minutes walk to the Theatre Massimo area and very near the main shopping streets. The room was comfortable and modern with good bathroom. A relaxing little haven after the hectic bustle of Palermo streets. We had a room at the back of the hotel - so no road noise at all. Reception staff were efficient, but a […] little surly - maybe could be a bit more welcoming. If you get the bus from the airport and get out just as it turns left off the main road, down the side of the large main squares, then you're almost right at the hotel entrance. It has a great location which is convenient for the airport bus and many attractions. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices, and the room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. This was one of the best hotels on the trip.
