great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

It was very nice with indoor heated pool and hot tub. Very quiet. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. No restaurants close to site but lots within a few miles. Enjoyed our stay and was within 20 minutes of city center and river walk.

I was very pleased with the cleaniness and location of the hotel. I attended my son's graduation in Lackland AFB. It was close and easy to get to the base. Very convenient! I would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for our son's graduation from Air Force boot camp. It is only 1 mile from Lackland AFB so it is very convenient when you are traveling back and forth from base. The full breakfast in the morning was wonderful and the hotel staff was helpful when we asked for directions to Lackland and directions to restaurants. The only downside […] to this hotel is that there is very little soundproofing in between floors. So if you are staying in a room with a room above you, most likely you are going to hear noises from the room above, especially people walking around. "very accommodating"
The front desk was very accommodating and helpful. The only complaint I had is that the garbage in the room was not emptied, only thebathroom garbage. i emptied my own. Otherwise the accomodation was good. Breakfast was good. I did wish that a restaurant was at the hotel so that we could get dinner/lunch if we wanted to not to go off the hotel premises. "Better than best"
We had a mini family reunion at Crooked Trail. The rooms were great -- they put us altogether 400-401-402 -- the first time this has happened in my travels. We had several evening meals in the commons area in the lobby. The staff was over and above great! But the best: It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The staff was constantly cleaning. Very nice hotel. Very clean and very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast each morning was fantastic. Very close to Lackland AFB and about 15 minutes from the Riverwalk downtown.
