Praticamente in pochi minuti si possono raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse di Barcellona. La camera è confortevole con un ampio bagno e il wifi gratis. Esteticamente gradevole anche se il bagno mostrava alcuni segni di "anzianità".

Il soggiorno in questo hotel é stato confortevole davvero, pulizia fantastica stanze comode e per niente rumoroso .... e avevamo una porta finestra sulla Ronda Sant Antoni!!. Il personale é sempre stato gentilissimo e mai invasivo. La posizione a 150 mt dalla Metro é superba. Non avevamo la colazione inclusa ma nel circondario abbiamo immediatamente scelto tra i vari locali disponibili un piccolo bar di qualità e a prezzi ottimi. Torneremo a Barcellona e torneremo al Gran Ronda!

Hotel had all the luxury you would expect from five stars, although we didn't use most of the facilities everything way available, staff were very polite and obliging. "Very good but not quite excellent"
Overall the W is hotel of a very high standard albeit let down by some poor finishing & colour schemes in the corridors leading to the rooms. Also we would have preferred a room on a higher floor than the 2nd floor we stayed on to appreciate the views but on the flip side the lift rides were quick. The card system to activate the lifts were also a bit […] tricky to operate & not mentioned at check in. The hotel is slightly further out of the city centre than some others but this makes the hotels surroundings more of a chilled environment & also a pleasant 25min walk or a 10min cab ride & you are in heart of the city. Ordered coffees from room service that arrived cold but were replaced within 10min of calling reception. The elipse bar on the 26th floor is one of the most exclusive nightspots in town but surprisingly small & we preferred the atmosphere at the lounge bar poolside. We landed at Barcelona at 9:30 am after an overnight flight. Of course our room wasnt ready yet but they were very helpful storing our luggage and providing access to showers and a plac to change clothes . We lounged by the pool til our room was ready at noon. Hotel and Staff were great. Often thanked us for being "so friendly". There is a large portion of affluent guests who we witnessed being very rude to the pool attendants, bartendenders, etc. But all of the staff handeled the attitude with grace. "Another great stay"
This was our second stay at W Barcelona and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The design and furnishings in the hotel are second to none, as is the service. The view over Barceloneta beach from the Fabulous rooms is positively awe-inspiring. The only possible negatives are that when the hotel gets busy, it feels very busy (for example, be prepared to wait […] ages for the elevators and then stop at every floor for more people to get in - this can get annoying). Also, the bathroom facilities in the bedrooms lack any privacy whatsoever (the toilet has a glass door which opens directly into the bedroom) therefore pick your partner wisely! "Awesome!"
The W hotel Barcelona is a really funky, modern hotel which is situated on the sandy beach. in Barcelona. Firstly, the hotel really is amazing! We stayed for the Easter weekend and would definitely return. It was busy and lots of people milling around when we arrived, however, I guess this was due to it being Easter... We were really lucky to be on […] the third floor (room 322) The window was floor to ceiling and the view directly looked out to the beach and sea which was incrediable. The room itself was large and modern. The only minor negative was it did not have a bath and the pressure of the huge power shower in the bathroom was not brilliant, however, we also had a handheld shower attachment which was on the wall and that was fine. We had the continental breakfast both mornings which cost euro23. You had plenty of food to choose from. we did queue, however, they brought around orange juice whilst waiting and it could have only been about 10 mins. We also had dinner both nights in the Wave restaurant. I must say that the food is excellent and although quite expensive, this restaurant is well worth a visit. I am not the most seasoned traveler ever but I have been around and this is by far the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. We were upgraded to a larger room at check in with the most spectacular view of the Mediterranean I could ever imagen. The two restaurantes we visited were both spectacular and the bartenders actually know how to make a proper […] manhattan which I couldn't find anywhere else in Europe. My stay was in late winter but I can only imagine that during the summer the pool and proximity to the beach would be even more impressive. I hope I have a chance to stay with them again soon! I found it a bit dissappointing that they charge 20 EUR extra if you want to use the spa i.e. steam bath or sauna. otherwise found that the service at the bar area was very slow and unattentive, possibly too few staff for the number of guests at the bar. otherwise room was amazing and general interior of hotel great. This is my 3rd stay this year in barcelona and I have now found the hotel I want to come back to. From arrival to check in they were fabulous. Our room was gorgeous - could have done with it being on a higher floor - we were on the 1st - but realistically my rate with hotels.com was fantastic - so even though we asked to move higher and they said they […] would do their utmost we were happy. "Fantastic Location, OK Service, Form over Function"
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the W Barcelona. As a young, stylish couple the hotel seemed catered to us. Pros: - Room: The room was beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view was amazing. Motorized blackout curtains. Need I say more? -Ambiance & Location: Outdoor beds, cabanas and lounge chairs (both at beach and pool area) […] free to guests. Absolutely incredible location right on the beach. Very liberal culture-- expect 50% of the women to be topless while tanning. Don't miss dining at the Bravo restaurant (quite expensive but worth it-- make sure to try the world's best Jamon Iberico de Bellota). Cons: -Room: After spending a night at the hotel some (metaphorical) cracks began to show in it's perfection. It became apparent that the designers and furnishers valued form over function. Some examples include the weak water pressure in the shower, the glass walls separating the shower and toilet from the rest of the room (forget privacy), most of the lamps didn't seem to serve any function other than to throw some dim colors onto the wall. This theme of form over function carried into the hallway, which was poorly lit and dank. At the end of the hallway there was a large glass door that opened out onto a metal stairway with a beautiful view of the sea-- but it was designated as an emergency exit only and was linked to an alarm. -Ambiance and Location: More families with young children and older couples than I expected, given the nature of the hotel. I imagine all the music and lights must have given them a headache. It is a 3-4 km walk to La Rambla, which is the main drag through Barcelona. If you don't want to spend half an hour walking into town, your only options are expensive cabs or city busses (which are quite nice). The Eclipse club/bar at the top of the hotel is rather small, didn't have much comfortable seating and smelled a bit like vomit during our stay.
