La permanenza è stata molto piacevole, lo staff è molto cortese e le stanze molto pulite; si trova in una zona periferica ma in un quartiere residenziale tranquillo con una fermata della metro (Takoma) a pochi minuti a piedi oppure sempre dalla stazione metro il bus 52 ferma proprio difronte Motel 6. Il parcheggio è gratuito ed anche l'uso della postazione internet.

"Nice place to stay..."
Really like the Metro availability right next to the hotel. The view from the room was rather blah. The rooms are very nice although a very small. My attitude was visibly 'stank' at the $33 per night for parking revelation with no other options available. That would have been nice to know. "Confortable and easy to access"
The hotel is just around the corner from the nearest station. The room was clean and bed was good condition. I would come back to this hotel if I need to go to Washington DC in the future.

"Nice facilities, close to underground transport"
NIce hotel. Easy walk to metro station to go anywhere in DC. Eateries around the hotel are pretty quiet on the weekends, many are closed. The hotel restaurant has decent variety. We used the laundry facilities, which was a nice travel tool for us. "The Marriott Courtyard US Capitol Washington DC"
Hotel is very clean, rooms nice size. Shower was really large! Food at restaurant wasn't bad - healthy options available like chinese chicken salad and oatmeal. Main complaint would be that the towels in the bathroom for the shower were small, and they were not luxurious at all. Felt more like drying off with paper towels. "The hotel was very convenient to the metro"
Terrific location - somewhat difficult to find at first; however once there it was terrific. the entrance to the metro is right outside the door. The room was very comfortable and the service was great. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

"great stay"
super friendly staff, great ammenities, very secure. the valet service was a little chaotic, with long waits and some confusion, but they were trying really hard to be as quick and helpful as possible. Super clean room, great bistro downstairs, staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at the courtyard marriot in DC, and the hotel part was great and actually very nice. However I was surprised to find that the hotel's valet service was an additional $33 per night for an overnight stay. That piece of information might have been nice to know ahead of time, so other arrangements could have been possibly made.

The Metro was right next to the hotel for convenience and staff was very friendly. Clean and nice hotel at an affordable rate near the U.S. Capitol. You can't beat that!
"Helpful"
When my plans changed unexpectedly, the hotel was helpful in getting my reservation cancelled without penalty. The hotel was easily accessed via the Metro so I did not need to worry about renting a car or navigating through D.C. traffic.

Some may be turned off by this hotel because of the location - however, it is very conveniently located right off the NY Ave metro stop on the red line - you literally walk out of the metro and are RIGHT at the hotel. This makes it very easy to get anywhere in DC on the metro - and since DC is such a small city, it does not take much time either. No […] point in paying ridiculous amounts to stay in Dupont Circle when you can stay here for a much better price and get there in 15min on the metro! The hotel is new and looks that way. It looks great and the rooms and associated bathroom were VERY clean. I stayed in a room with 2 queens - all of which apparently face the tracks of the metro - however, I personally never heard the metro or any sound it did make was so negligible that it did not disturb my sleep. The price per night on a weekend is very reasonable and is likely the best deal you can get to be in DC, right next to a metro stop, and in a very clean room. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating - my friend left some jewelry in the room and realized after we had already checked out - we called and the jewelry was located and we were able to pick it up. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is also immediately surrounded by a few food joints - including a nice and new 7-11, au bon pain, a taco joint (I think), and a 5 guys burger place. "Convenient location"
We were sighseeing in DC for a couple of days and were planning on just sleeping comfortably at the hotel, and the hotel performed this task very well. Its one metro stop away from Union station making it easy to get anywhere in DC from there. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, nothing luxurious but no complaints at all. There is a Five Guys, […] Au Bon Pain, 7-11 and Wendys nearby if someone is looking for a quick bite without getting too far. The neighborhood is a little shady but nothing to make one feel unsafe. "Courtyard Marriott US Capital - pleasant stay"
Hotel was very nice and offered pool for kids, but was not close to DC attractions. Good for work and accessing metro. If you want to get away from touristy side of DC, good choice and convenient to historic U street.
"Great hotel for a great price"
My son and I were on vacation and wanted a decent hotel for a low price which was close to either public transportation or the actual national mall. This hotel is literally six store fronts away from the metro red line which in turn is less than ten minutes from the national mall and all it's attractions. And the deal on the nightly stay was competative […] with nieghborhoods much further away. The neighborhood is industrial and somewhat sparse but you can still get a decent meal and 24 hour snacks and food due to the 7-11 right next to the hotel. There are also several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. I don't recommend the food at the hotel. It's expensive, prepackaged and microwaved. I feel as though the waiter/bartender/cashier was also the /chef. And there is no room service. Our room was clean but a bit cramped when the sofa bed was pulled out. But being from NYC that was definitely not a problem for us. The bottom line is the location and the price could not be beaten. The food however is not worth the effort. Continua a leggere

"Poor Management"
This hotel is new and may be experiencing growing pains. It is attractive and new but the service is horrible. We booked a room for three adults and the first room we were given had one queen bed. We were then given a room with one queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. The blanket for the sofa bed was not clean and no one answered the phone at the front […] desk when we called for a clean one. There were several occasions that our calls to the front desk were not answered and that there were no staff members attending at the front desk. When we called 45 minutes before leaving our room to have our car brought around one morning and it was not available when we went downstairs. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get our car. The last night we were there, we asked for a 6 am wake up call that we never received. Staff members were nice but this hotel needs a new manager! Continua a leggere

"Great Price and Convenient Location"
The price was great for the location and convenience provided. You can't beat walking out the front door of the hotel and going little over 100 feet to the metro(which is one stop from union station). Also there is a 7/11 in the building and a Five Guys Burgers across the street. Hotel itself was great - clean, comfortable, fitness equipment was in good condition, etc. Staff was very friendly and available. Location was also fantastic - steps off of the NY Ave stop on the red line made it incredibly convenient. Surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy, so you don't want to go wandering around at night.

"Very good value pick"
Overall, this is a good hotel option for DC. The price is reasonable. The only downside is that since it's newer, there is inconsistent cab service. Otherwise, No problem with it at all.

This hotel has the worst internet connection in the world. Even the paid alternative doesn´t have even a bad speed. IBAHN is the provider. I feel they stole my money , it doesn´t work even with a cord!!!

The hotel is right next to a metro stop, that is the reason I chose it. However, it is also in a seedy area. Don not recommend to walk anywhere from the hotel. I arrived on Saturday at 10pm. There is nowhere to get food. There is a Au Bon Pain in the metro station, but it was closed in the evening and did not open in the morning at 8am even though it […] had a sign saying open daily at 7am on the door. My room faces the street, noises from people partying did not stop until mid-night. There was no hot water for shower the next morning. Even worse, the shower did not drain. "nice hotel but not great location"
I stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott, U.S. Capitol in early April and found this to be a really nice, clean and updated hotel. Staff were more than helpful and pleasant. It was great being right next to a metro stop however my room overlooked the metro tracks plus the train tracks and was quite noisy. My other complaint would be food. While the bistro […] was fine, staying 3 nights and having only 1 place to eat was disappointing. There is nothing but fastfood nearby (which I do not eat) and I think the bistro could be a great spot if they added some more items to their menu. Also, I mapquested the address plus used gps and drove around for 30 minutes trying to find it. When I called the hotel they told me to use a different address???? To locate this hotel you need to use the Florida Avenue address. "Perfect distance to Club Fur"
My friend and I came to DC for a show at nearby Club Fur. This hotel was walking distance AND near the red line metro, which was super convenient for us to get from the bus stop to the hotel. We had previously had plans to stay at a friend's place, but decided on the comfort of a nearby hotel so we wouldn't have to worry about transportation to and […] from the club. We booked the hotel on our bus ride down to DC from NYC. The process was quick and easy and when we got to the hotel, we just had to give our names and everything was promptly settled. The hotel is clean and so was our room. The bed was so comfortable and I had such a nice, relaxing nap right before the show. There is a Five Guys burger place right across the street, so we brought the food back to the hotel and ate and relaxed. The showers are also really clean and nice.
