molto cortesi tutti, dal transfert areoporto hotel, in hotel, al ristorante. abbiamo scelto di dormire ad addis abeba per spezzare il viaggio da mombasa a roma...ma attenzione ..quando abbiamo dovuto fare il visto di uscita 20 dollari ci volevano far pagare anche un' albergo "convenzionato" con la compagnia ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES perche' dicevano che l'Armony […] gia' prenotato e pagato dall'italia Non era convenzionato....ci siamo ribellati!!!! It is only 5 mins to the Medhane Alem Cathedral and shopping malls, 10 mins to the millennium hall and the airport. I arrived at the midnight and was exhausted. There is a hotel booth at the airport and the representative offered me a bottle of water upon arrival. I noticed that they are the only one hotel booth having two armchairs for their customers […] while waiting for shuttle. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I asked the clean lady to find a tailor to mend the tear in my cloth and she brought it back to room service and get it done without charging me. The massage service in the spa is also great and cheap, around 10 USD for 45 mins service. The problem is that there were sometimes double-booking and one had to re-scheduled. Addis Ababa is in the highland so there is no air condition in the hotel. It was chilly during my stay in April. Continua a leggere

This is a mediocre overpriced hotel fairly well located near the airport in a chaotic neighborhood. I would stay again if the price was 30-40% less. Staff was competent and fairly friendly and helpful. But they did not know where I could exchange a travelers check and my Visa card was unable to receive approval by their system for several hours. We stayed altogether three nights in this hotel on our inbound and outbound journey to and from Addis Ababa. Convenient location near the airport with a complimentary shuttle. Rooms are spacious and reasonably equipped. The restaurant serves eatable meals but they are pretty far from being awarded a Bib Gourmand rating. Room next to elevator overlooking building site. Room VERY dark, poor lighting which then stopped working altogether. Toilet blocked, bathroom leaked, no water pressure. A truly horrendous experience and no apologies from staff who really did not care. Do not stay here.

I felt good staying at the Harmony Hotel in Addis Ababa except it doesn't have air conditioning which I consider is very important in any hotel, especially in summer holidays. The service was great and outstanding. Its location is not very good. It doesn't have a detailed maps for tourists to guide them in the city. I had a short weekend stay in Addis and was warmly welcomed to the hotel which was the best value for money I could find. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is lovely. Only comment would be that there is no complimentary water which I would have expected at an establishment like this. Oscar

It is popular with many NGOs and people not personally paying for their rooms. Too expensive and better deal next door at the Kaleb

convenient location, free wired internet in the rooms, Wifi in the lobby, good size gym & sauna.

Amazing service! Wonderful and accomdating staff. Every single request was met with "Of course!". Would highly reccommend!

We booked this trip according to Hotels.com reviews and chose to stay here over the Sheraton & the Hilton because of price and reviews. Wrong decision! The location of Harmony Hotel is terrible and scary at night. I was with my husband, but if not, I would have moved locations the first day. The staff was rude from check in to check out. We tried to […] rent an international cell phone and even that didnt work because their sims cards were out dated, and they still charged us for opening a card that didnt work. We tiptoed around the staff for 4 days and had friends that stayed at the Sheraton that had a fabulous experience that were treated the exact opposite. Pay the extra money to have a nice, no stress trip and at least stay in a nice area with no pounding construction and rude staff. Its not worth it to save a couple bucks a day because you'll make up for it in the taxi fees anyway! Dont believe the reviews...stay somewhere else! Continua a leggere

I stayed at this hotel on my way to and from another country in Africa. During both stays the staff at the hotel was very efficient and provided courteous service. The room was clean, breakfast was included and they provided a shuttle to and from the airport. They also have internet access if needed. Also, the hotel is only 2 or 3 miles from the airport […] which makes it very convenient for an overnight stay. Als Zwischenstopp für Weiterflung (Aufenthalt in Adis Ababa 12 Stunden) durch die direkte Lage zum Airport hervorragend geeignet.

December 2010- There is construction work next to the hotel. The work starts at 08:00 and goes until 17:00. Avoid it if you need to stay in the hotel during working hours.
