Pantheon 3E Roma

Got into Rome late due to snow - to "hotel" after midnight. It wasn't a hotel. We went next door to another hotel and they told us which other hotel to go to to check in. Reception was closed and they didn't speak english (regular was ill). Our room was not a superior twin, but a small double with no door on the bathroom on the 3rd floor in an unmarked […] hallway with a flat unmarked. The tea kettle didn't fit the plug and there was no mini bar.(room was warm and clean) They "accommodated us" by giving us keys next door so my friend and i didn't have to share a bed or watch each other shower. The next day the receptionist was very nice and kindly moved us into the hotel, which was better. The apartments weren't awful, but it should be advertised as such. Plus it's a 3 star, not 5 like the ratings. 5 is the Mandarin or Shangri La. And it was not fun to arrive in the snow, not be able to get in right away and then not have the room you booked. we have just returned from 3 nights in rome & were very pleased with the high standard of cleanliness, excellent location right in the heart of old Rome & the very pleasant staff who could not have been more helpful. Our rooms were located on the 1st Floor and felt very secure and comfortable. We had requested twin beds as we were a group of friends […] and though this was not arranged on the 1st night, the staff changed the beds to suit on the following day. Breakfast was included and this was served at a very pleasant cafe across the square, it too was excellent. All in all, we had a marvelous few days & I highly recommend this accommodation for the budget. Continua a leggere

This hotel was absolutely the best place in terms of service, location and price in all of Rome! It is located almost directly in front of the Pantheon, 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps. As far of location, you cannot beat it! When we arrived at the hotel, you need to check into their parent hotel "HOTEL ABRUZZI" and the Pantheon 3E […] is next door. So if you are coming by taxi or train provide them with the address of Hotel Abruzzi. The staff service was absolutely so friendly and helpful, pro-active (which is practically non existent in Italy). The room we were put in was brand new, clean and modern and very suprisingly quiet as it is located in a busy area. the window are double glazed and has shutters to block out the light and noise. The room we were placed in was directly above a coffee house and the aroma of coffee in the morning was absolutely intoxicatingly amazing. The hotel has WiFi in the sitting room of the Hotel Abruzzi for a cheap price. Breakfast was served in the Piazza of the Pantheon across the street from the hotel, which was awesome as you are able to have your breakfast with the view of the Piazza and the Pantheon. Breakfast was plentiful and for those people who love their eggs and bacon for breakfast, they had this every morning as this isn't usually an Italian style breakfast. It truly was the best experience in all of Italy we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rome. Continua a leggere

Buscábamos un hotel céntrico de 3 estrellas y este era el de mejor precio/ubicación. Personal muy amable. Habitación suficientemente amplia, en buen estado, baño nuevo... El desayuno es en establecimiento fuera del hotel pero justo al lado, es correcto y funciona bien. Ubicación privilegiada que permite desplazarse a pie a todos los sitios importantes […] en 20min máximo. Ya lo hemos recomendado. Continua a leggere

superligging, prima ontvangst in Albergo Abruzzi, Goede nette kamer en dito badkamer maar de absolute parel is de onbijtlocatie, Piazza della Rotonda met uitgebreid verzorgd ( scrambled eggs) ontbijt Komen hier zeker terug ! Jurgen en Jeroen

Når man sidder på cafeen med udsigt til Pantheon, og spiser relativ god morgenmad, kan man kun blive glad! Vi boede i det mindste værelse, uden udsigt, og med larmende ventilator, men hvad gør det? Vi var ikke taget til Rom for at sidde på værelset, der ellers var rent og pænt. Jeg tager med glæde herned igen!
