Non lontano da corso Como, via Solferino e corso Garibaldi, a due passi dalla stazione della metro Repubblica, l'hotel Cervo è in una posizione molto comoda per visitare la città. Attenzione alle camere, perché ce ne sono alcune anguste e buie che avrebbero anche bisogno di una rinfrescata. Quando sono arrivato, mi è stata assegnata un'incredibile singola al primo piano con affaccio su una tromba delle scale interna, così sono andato alla reception per chiederne un'altra. Mi è stata data una camera più confortevole con affaccio su un cortile interno. Decisamente migliore, ma sempre troppo buia per i miei gusti (e nel bagno non c'era il bidé). Ci ho dormito la prima notte e la mattina dopo ho chiesto se ce ne fosse un'altra ancor più luminosa. Finalmente me ne hanno data una soddisfacente al terzo piano con affaccio sulla strada. Personale professionale, cortese e comprensivo. Colazione continentale ottima e abbondante.

Ho soggiornato in questo Hotel in quanto vicino allo stadio San Siro dove ero diretta. Il personale è stato sin dal primo momento tanto gentile e disponibile. La camera era grande e pulita con tv e mediaset premium, la colazione è inclusa a buffet, con cornetti confezionati ma di ottima marca, come tutto il resto delle cose per la colazione! ottimo il caffè ed il cappuccino preparati da loro al momento... Per quanto riguarda i mezzi di trasporto per arrivare in centro, l'hotel si trova in un ottima posizione: difronte all'hotel c'è la fermata dell'autobus 69 che porta direttamente alla stazione metro, oppure alle spalle dell'hotel vi è la fermata del tram 14 che di ferma fuori al duomo! In generale quindi posso dire di essere davvero soddisfatta di questa esperienza, lo consiglierei ad amici e parenti e non mancherò di ritornarci io personalmente in future occasioni!

ho preso questo albergo per via di un prezzo scontato ... così è stato un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. L'insonorizzazione tra le stanze non è perfetta ... se quello a fianco russa, ti svegli. La camera è carina moderna nuovo arredamento come del resto tutto l'albergo.... solo un pò piccolo il bagno. Per il resto, colazione compresa tutto molto bene. Comunque lo suggerisco..

This small family-run hotel in Brunate has much to offer for a short break on Lake Como. The hotel is reached by a seven minute almost vertical ride on the funicular from the lake to the village, which offers spectacular views from the viewing points over Lake Como. The owner Federico was happy to arrange a late check-in after 9.30pm. and was extremely […] helpful in many other ways, also setting up a special connection to watch some international sport in our room. He also offered advice about local places to visit in Como and in the area. He advised a day trip to lake Lugarno in Switzerland, a half-hour train journey from San Giovanni Station, and well worth the visit. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the two nearest train stations for which there is a fee. The alternative is a pleasant half-hour stroll to San Giovanni Station from the lower funicular station or a five minute stroll to the Como Lago Nord railway station which offers a handy connection to the Milan Malpensa Airport via Saronno. The walk from the upper funicular station to the hotel is well sign-written and can be done in two minutes (and the cobbled road is smooth enough to trundle your luggage). The Lake Como ferry ticket office is within five minutes stroll from the lower funicular station, with a drop-off quay right in front of the funicular. Despite the shoulder season, there were sufficient ferry connections to see all the main visiting points. We would recommend a ferry trip to Bellagio, about two hours ride on the slow ferry, and spending at least two hours there.The rooms in the hotel appear to have been recently redecorated and the room we had was a fair size with twin beds joined together. The mattress was firm but comfortable enough for us. There are no coffee making facilities in the rooms but there was a stocked bar-fridge . There was new bathroom and shower en-suite to our room. "Nice little place"
Good side: Great atmosphere, great hosts, nice town and views, good breakfast, free WIFI. Bad side: small rooms with no AC, tiny shower, noise from the road if you sleep with window open. "Comfort in Brunate and Como"
Our time was made most comfortable by Federico and Masimo as well as the restaurant staff. Location and views fantastic. Restuarant great quality with good wine. Nearby Polenta restaurant run by Dante was superb. Funiculare down to Como efficient and offers great views. In short great location, great service, friendly and helpful.

Et OK hotell, med et meget hyggelig vertskap. Frokosten var ikke helt på topp, med et lite lekkert brød, men det som klart trekker ned er at hotellet ligger svært avsides og at eneste adkomst til Como er en "funicular" (taubane) som kostet drøye 5 euro per tur. Das Hotel ist nicht leicht zu finden. Das Frühstücksbuffet haben wir in günstigeren Hotels deutlich (!) reichhaltiger und besser vorgefunden. Die Rezeption war insgesamt etwas chaotisch.
Ein sauberes, kleines, freundliches, familiengeführtes Hotel in schöner Lage. Die Fahrt mit der standseilbahn lohnt sich! Ich würde wieder kommen.

Kan vara bra att veta, hotellet ligger alltså på 1.873 meter över havet! Det betyder ungefär 1.600 meter ovanför Comosjön, vilket i sin tur innebär ca 20 minuter med bil på smala serpentinvägar. MEN DET ÄR VÄRT DET! Rummen är mycket spartanska men rena och fullt fungerande, resturangen och personalen är +5 *****. Väl värt en natt eller två.
Leuk klein hotel met erg vriendelijke mensen. Kamer oke. Douche wisselt alleen met warm en koud water. Omgeving erg leuk jammer dat de kabelbaan die om de hoek ligt en je rechtstreeks naar como stad brengt voor onderhoud gesloten was. "Nice view from the top"
Rooms are quite small, but have everything you need in. The thing that gives the top character are the general atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff. You are taken care of. The food in the restaurant is worth trying for and the bar makes you feel good, that is if you are ok to get mixed with the locals.

Dachten dat het dichter bij Como zou liggen en niet hoog id bergen,maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken.Prima ontvangst,auto werd geparkeerd want het was wat smal.Kamer (4pers.)was eenvoudig maar voor 1nacht voldoende.Avondeten was heerlijk.

Das Hotel liegt hoch über Como in Brunate. Nicht weit enfernt ist eine Seilbahn, welche direkt nach Como führt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkomend. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten mit guten Matratzen ausgestattet. Absolut zu empfehlen ist das dazugehörige Restaurant. Klein aber fein kann ich nur sagen. Hotelli oli kotoisa pieni majatalo, ei mitään luksusta mutta siisti ja viihtyisä. Omistajat todella mukavia ja ystävällisiä! Aamupala oli hyvä, määrä oli korvattu laadulla. Alakerrassa vaikutti olevan kylän eloisin pubi, jossa alkuillasta hieman meteliä mutta meno ja meininki ei visiittimme aikana kuitenkaan jatkunut myöhään, eivätkä unemme häiriintyneet. […] Brunaten kylä on todella kiva ja rauhallinen, ja rinnejunalla pääsee kätevästi alas Comon kaupunkiin. Autolla Brunateen ajo on jännittävää, koska tie on jyrkkä ja erittäin mutkainen ja kapea.
