Pros: Fantastic location and huge rooms. Very polite, helpful staff. Cons: You have to leave key with reception and ring a bell to get back in. Paid for breakfast but coffee was additional charge - unacceptable considering the price of the room.

I went to London on a training course and thought I'd eschew the usual Holiday Inn Express for this hotel as it was only £30 more for the 4 nights I was staying. It was on the whole a good choice - the locale was amazing, opposite the natural history museum (and therefore the science museum and the V&A). The area was very nice, quiet at night but with […] some lively eateries not too far away. The hotel itself was a bit of a disappointment and I'm not sure my single room really lived up to the description 'boutique' - it was in an exposed wing of the hotel and very cold if I didn't have the electric heater on and there was no mini fridge as advertised in the brochure. Also the desk was tiny and inadequate and the wrong height for comfortable laptop use. But the bed was comfortable and that was very important as I'd partially chosen the hotel for the good quality beds. Overall I wouldn't stay there if I was paying for it with my own money as I'm not sure it was very good value but the staff were lovely as was the location. Continua a leggere

Friendly staff, nice lobby, room left a bit to be desired. Room was on the 4th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 2nd, which made moving our luggage a bit of a trauma. Size of room was small but adequate, but the bathroom door stuck and we had to put our entire weight into it to open it, there was some black mold in the shower and everything could […] have used a bit of a refurbishment. The room just felt a bit well worn, and you could hear every word the people in the hall and outside on the terrace below were saying. Still, the bed was comfy enough, and big (it was 2 singles pushed together), and the staff were exceptionally nice. It's also very nicely located, close to a tube station with many major attractions on it's line, across from the Natural History museum and near the V&A as well. Short walk up to Harrod's and some nice pubs. I would still try some other hotels in the area before I stayed here again, but if they didn't work out, I would come back. Continua a leggere

I stayed in this beautiful little hotel for one night recently, just visiting friends for a night out in covent garden. From the second I walked in I knew I liked it but it was when I saw my room that I fell in love with it! A single room, and I wasn't expecting much, but it was just beautiful. The room was very nice and spacious, which we were not expecting. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The major problem was that it was TOO HOT. We put the thermostat down but the heat kept pumping out. We opened the windows but they would only open about 9 inches so not enough cool air to reduce the temp. We realise this Jan was very […] mild but not mild enough to counter the heat. Even the lobby was too hot and we were boiling just waiting to check out. On a positive the people who worked there were fantastic and very friendly and accommodating. for a one night stay it was perfect, close to the tube and a parking lot for the car. We very much enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the value for money. (I stayed in a hotel that cost twice as much as was half the size a few weeks before.) Continua a leggere

Very clean contemporary comfortable hotel. I stayed here on business in a single room and kind of expected the photos on the web site to only reflect some of the better rooms but even the basement single room I was in was finished in the same clean contempory style. Godt og trivelig hotell med personlig service. Enkel frokostservering, men fullt tilstrekkelig og tar igjen på sjarm og inventar.

Fint rom men ingen utsikt. Ble plassert i underetg, antakelig fordi jeg bodde alene og hadde reservert med litt redusert pris (men dyrt nok). Uansett satte jeg pris på at det var stille, og rommet og badet var komfortabelt., sengen var ikke for hard. Men frokosten var kjedelig og ikke verdt pengene. Fin beliggenhet for V&A, og for shopping og restaurantaer […] i South Kensington, og enkelt med tuben og buss for å komme rundt. Rundt hotellet var det ikke mye liv, bortsett fra musseer og boligstrøk. Direkte tube fra Heathrow var veldig praktisk. Continua a leggere

Lille hyggeligt og meget centralt hotel, rundt om hørnet bus til Oxford Street, subway i gå afstand og med Kensigston Park i baghaven, og udsigt til Natur histotisk museum samt Science Museum. Venlig og hjælpsomt personale, og lille men velfungerende værelse.' Vil bestemt vende tilbage næste ganmg turen går til london.
