Lo abbiamo utilizzato come punto di arrivo dall'aeroporto, con una macchina a noleggio, solo per una notte. Per quello che ci è servito siamo abbastanza soddisfatti.

ho prenotato una singola e mi hanno dato una tripla (!!!) ad un prezzo ridicolo. trattamento mezza pensione con colazione e cena... i piatti non sono eccezionali ma se non siete particolarmente esigenti e raffinati non avrete problemi!! unica pecca: no aria condizionata in camera, quindi caldo!!! comunque lo consiglierei!!

"Very impressive"
This has the quality of a four star hotel with the price af a two star. The rooms are smartly furnished, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The hotel is located at the top of a large hill overlooking the bay of Palma, there is a lift to take you down the hill and then a 5 minute walk to the sea front. They have no inhouse room service but provide […] an interesting sushi menu provided and delivered from an ouside company. "Majorcia Catalonia"
They seem to over book this hotel, we had to spend our first night over the road at the Augusta which was a pain but for that we did negotiate a free sea view, breakfast and late check out worth about 180euro in total! They sent another couple to a hotel miles away so be warned! For the price we paid you can't really complain but it is about a 10euro […] taxi ride from Palma old town, although a 5 min walk to Porto Pi shopping centre so good if you like shopping! Sunset Beach club in the shopping centre was good, Abaco Palace a must even for one 16euro cocktail and Puro beach lovely and relaxing, we stopped off on our way back to the airport as it's the opposit end of Palma to the hotel! I was delighted with Catalonia Majorica Hotel as I booked only 2 days earlier and thought it would not be as good as it looked online for the price. Owing to a mix-up between Hotels.com and the hotel, we were booked in for one bedroom for 4 adults instead of 2 rooms for 2 adults (which we had on our booking confirmation). We were found a second room but felt like this was given reluctantly. Having said that, the hotel was good in most respects and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. The Hotel has probably one of Palmas best views from its restaurant terrace and poolarea and its location is just 10min walk from the harbour main street. I bet this Hotel was wortf its four stars in its early days. However, today the facilities are in need for renovation and standard in the rooms was Ok, but not more. Cleaning was very good and the […] cleaners was very friendly and did a very good job. Receptionstaff was just terrible, no service mind, ignorant and slow. Restuarant staff was quite friendly but missed orders, delivered wrong orders and was very sloooooow.... For the price we paid which was eqvavilient to 3star Hotel standards in Palma I would still recomend this every day, but if you had to pay more I would look for other hotels. Continua a leggere
"Catalonia Majorica - bra för minisemester"
Vi bokade 5 nätter på hotellet för en minisemester i Palma, och blev mycket nöjda. Först fick vi ett rum på bottenplan med utsikt mot en tegelmur, men då vi frågade personalen om det gick att få ett rum på en högre våning fick vi det utan vidare kommentarer, dessutom ett rum med delvis havsutsikt, utan att behöva betala tillägg för detta - bra service! Personalen […] pratar engelska, men ibland är det oklart om de svarar på just den frågan man faktiskt ställde.. Poolområdet är trevligt och har fin utsikt över bukten, och det finns även en fin inomhuspool. Hotellet ligger lite i utkanten av Palma, nära ett stort shoppingcenter (PortoPi) och ca 1,5-2 km från stranden Cala Major, men det är en bit in till centrala Palma. Hotellets frukostbuffé är prisvärd och erbjuder det mesta, varm och kall frukost, färsk frukt, bröd och bakverk. På det stora hela är det ett lugnt och trevligt hotell, med mycket tyskar och engelsmän. Missa inte inomhus-linbanan ner till Av. Joan Mirò, det var en upplevelse!
