Hôtel Alison Parigi

Great location in heart of Madeleine. Super clean. Nice breakfast room. Small room but the space was well utilized. Staff was attentive even if not especially warm and friendly. No mini-bar or room service (other than beverages). Excellent price, cleanliness and location make it perfect for 3-day business trips.

I am almost afraid to give this hotel a positive review - I don't want it to be fully booked the next time I go to Paris! I cannot say enough about the perfect location of this hotel. It could not be better. Enough said. The staff is helpful and friendly, the wifi is free and reliable, and the neighborhood is upscale and safe. (It's also got a convenient […] little shop across the street for getting water and other essentials for your room.) The rooms are small, but that's Paris: You're not there to hang out in your room all day. They're decorated nicely enough, and impeccably clean. I arrived in Paris on the Roissybus from CDG to Opera and was taking a train the following morning from St Lazare, so this hotel was in an ideal location (10min walk from both). It is not, however, such a great location for neighbourhood restaurants/cafes, since the immediate area is mostly devoted to fancy shops. The room and bathroom were impeccably […] clean, modern, and overall extremely pleasant. The hotel has free wifi and there is a computer in the lobby that you can use for a few euros per hour. This is a nice hotel-especially suited for a short stay. It was clean and stylish, staff was fairly helpful and our room was neat and comfortable. The hotel is on a quiet side street. However, there is an elementary school across the street, so if you plan on staying in your room in the afternoon (why would you in Paris!) it could be loud at recess. […] We checked in at 2 pm and the kids were at play outside. Nice location, good service. My room was on the third floor facing elementary school on quite street. It is very noisy, during the school breaks. No air-conditioning so you have to keep the window open to get some fresh air but then you get the noise from the school. Hotel Alison is an excellent hotel in a quiet, central location within walking distance of famous landmarks e.g. Place de La Concorde, Le Louvre, Le Champs Elysées etc. Access to airport bus is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem printing our boarding […] passes and the receptionist did everything in his power to help us solve the problem. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Very polite, english speaking desk. Renovated bathroom. Bedroom is not huge (3x4m).

I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2011 and had a great experience. Excellent value for money. The hotel is basic but stylish , the room was very clean and everything functioned well. Staff were always available at the front desk and helpful. It's very conveniently located on a pretty, narrow little street, and just a few minutes' walk to major tourist […] sites. There's a little supermarket up and across the road (<1 min walk) which really came in handy, and a cafe. There's a school opposite but i was there during holidays so no issue with noise. The only down-side was the walk from the Metro my first morning: 10 minutes on cobblestones with luggage is challenging, so take a cab if you can't manage that. Would definitely stay here again. Very clean, comfortable, close to touristic spots (madeleine, concorde, tuileries, champs elysées, grands boulevards...and shopping areas, very kind people, quiet surrounding especially sat-sun. I love this hotel. I rate it as excellent. I have stayed twice in the past year. Its not posh, not trendy, or even up to date decor wise, but it is very clean, friendly and reasonably priced (by parisian standards). The location is very quiet, owing to it being surrounded by government buildings (Ministry of the Interior) also lots of police roam around […] the neighbourhood which makes it feel safe. There is a school across the street from the hotel which of course is noisy during break time and lunch time when the kids are running about but most people are not in their hotel room in the middle of the day so school noise is not a problem for most of us! The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. My friend and I stayed in a twin room (No. 26), facing the courtyard (March 2011). Bathroom was new and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy, TV was a new flatscreen, room was warm. I have also stayed in the ground floor triple room - again simple but very clean and comfortable (April 2010) and also in a single room on a high floor, facing the street. (also April 2010) The room was tiny but clean and there was no street noise at night, the one bar at the end of the road was closed by midnight. 5 minute walk to Madeleine, 10-15 min walk to Opera, very close to Madeleine Metro station, about 5 mins walk. Walking distance to champs elysee and all the sights. Staff are very helpful and friendly with advice and directions. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you! Continua a leggere

Værelset er lille, men ok til kort ophold. Næsten ingen støj i forhold til hvad man kan opleve i en storby. Ligger tæt på centrum og metro station.

L'hôel est situé dans un quartier très calme proche de la madeleine et des magasins de luxe, il n'est pas directement entouré de restaurants. Le confort est de qualité, les chambres sont cependant petites.

The hotel was in a quiet street near the place de la concorde and de Madeleine. Very uptown neighborhood. Can't imagine that you get robbed here. We walked to the Louvre, LesHalles etc. Rooms are old, but very clean. The cheapest room are very small (no space to open a large suitcase), the larger are normal of size. But this is Paris. Not a lot of […] towels (only some very small and one large), so you have to ask for more. Small lcd-tv in the room. They offered breakfast in the basement or at the rom for 10 euro's a day, but in Paris it is more fun to Eat something in a restaurant. Reception was great and friendly. They close the door at night, but open it for you within a minute. Also they try to speak your language. Checking out wad a bit odd, I had to pay again, because they couldn't take the Internet bill. Also 1 euro per day per person for tax was added. Good hotel? Yes, but there are more of these in Paris. When you pay more, you probably get a larger room, but same service. Continua a leggere

Séjour globalement agréable à l'hôtel Alison du 9 au 10 juin 2011. L'hôtel est bien placé, près de la Madeleine, dans une rue calme. Ceux qui mettent 15mn pour aller au métro doivent en profiter pour faire du shopping ! Un seul ascenseur pour l'hôtel... mais je n'y séjournais pas en période de pointe, et il n'était pas en panne donc cela suffisait. Pour […] la chambre, j'ai eu la bonne surprise d'être surclassé de deux catégories, et donc celle-ci était en étage élevé, avec un petit balcon, calme et de bonne facture. Le personnel de jour est agréable et serviable à la réception. Pour ce qui est des points moins positifs, étant habitué à une catégorie d'hotel supérieure, je crois que si je n'avais pas eu la bonne surprise de ce surclassement, j'aurais été assez déçu. En effet, la chambre dont je disposais était assez petite comparée à celles habituelles, le concierge du soir n'était d'aucune aide pour ce qui est des suggestions de sorties(qui plus est sans être particulièrement aimable ni faire la moindre recherche), et l'absence de lobby pour passer le temps agréablement se fait sentir. En résumé donc, si je dois payer cette chambre à son prix normal, je préfère nettement rajouter quelques dizaines d'euros par nuit et loger dans un des bons 4* habituels du quartier de la Place Vendôme... en revanche, pour le prix payé cette fois-ci, ce 3* se défend tout à fait bien et a même été une bonne surprise !! Good small hotel near Champs d'Elysee. I haven't tried breakfast there - as I prefered to have it outside. Rooms are clean, and of a good size. Personnel is very friendly. Called them is advance to put some flowers into the room for my wife - this was done with no problem. It's better to by some drinking water outside as hotel prices is not very good […] :) Please keep in mind that there is not many food shops outside, if you decide to buy some snacks in the evening. Хороший небольшой отель около Елисейский полей. Не пробовал завтрак - предпочитал завтракать где-нибудь на улице. Комнаты чистые, персонал довольно приветливый. Позвонил им заранее и попросил поставить в номере букет цветов для жены - сделали без проблем. Питьевую воду лучше покупать в магазине - в отеле цены довольно высокие. Кроме того, имейте ввиду, что в округе довольно мало продуктовых магазинов (если захотите купить воду и какие-нибудь закуски-фрукты). Continua a leggere
