solito albergo londinese purtroppo moquette dappertutto (sulle scale in condizioni orribili), camere piccole ma confortevoli, bagno nuovissimo, peccato non ci sia una breakfast room. posizione fantastica davanti alla metropolitana South Kensington

Central location, had a nice experience. Had breakfast delivered to my room, this was very kind. There is no lift, though. Nevertheless, my feedback is generally positive. Will consider it again!

The staff could barely speak English and were quite unfriendly. The "breakfast", which consisted of cold toast and stewed tea or coffee with the option of a boiled egg, was eventually served, once I had gone to reception to ask where it was. It was served in the room as there is no restaurant. We could have booked elsewhere for the same price but as […] our friends had already booked there we decided it would be fun to all be in the same hotel and as their web site showed some nice rooms we decided to go for it, what a mistake! The room was so small you could not even walk around the bed and nothing like the pictures. Considering that the digital change over is coming we were surprised to see an old style TV with built in video player and 5 channels. The remainder of the furniture was so poor that we were scared to us it in case it collapsed. Our room was on the 1st floor, the same level as the reception and we could not only hear all of the noise from the bar but outsideour window was the AC unit which was going all night. Location could not be better. Great value for the location as well. Enjoyed the delivery of breakfast to room as well. Lots of old world charm. Bathrooms have been nicely renovated. I will stay here again.

Good location, nice breakfast, rooms need deep cleaning. Make sure to ask what floor your room is on because there is no lift and a lot of stairs!!

We were not satisfied with the services provided. The room was not clean. Building is old and in need of repair. When we were billed we were not given a choice of Dollars or Pounds - the rate was extreme for what it was and they insist on not allowing you to cancel unless you cancel 15 days in advance. First the positive. Hotel is in a good location, the phrase "a stones throw away from a tube station" is often over used but with a good arm probably doable from this hotel. The surrounding area is nice and it is close to museums shops, restaurants and bars. The positive's end there. The rooms are stuffy and dated. The staff are unhelpful and abrupt […] and you pay a lot of money for only the location. For the rate I got I would expect an awful lot more. The walls are thin and you can clearly hear somebody watching TV in the next room. There are only stairs in the hotel also so if mobility is problem definitely do not stay there. The room facitities are poor although there is a kettle and a massive 17 inch tv. The shower in the room I had was terrible and leaked onto the floor constantly. In short, for the price you are likely to pay for this hotel you would be better paying out a little extra for one of the much nicer hotels in the area. I have spent over 2 months in hotels in the area this year and was surprised to find a hotel so bad in the area. I would not recommend for anybody to use this hotel if at all possible. Redeeming quality, convenience to South Ken. tube station which is on Picadilly line from Heathrow. Hotel is steps away from station

Bed was uncomfortable, carpets threadbare, settee threadbare, beadspread patchwork quilt. Other than that it was local to station, cheap and good exercise (on top floor with no lift !).

Området runt hotellet är toppen med tunnelbana, restauranger osv. Dock är hotellet slitet, med sönderfallande möbler på vårt rum. Ett plus för kylskåp men ett minus för att det tog tre mail innan jag fick bekräftelse på kylskåp på rummet. Hela hotellvistelsen betalas vid incheckning, trots det som anges på hotels.coms hemsida. Personalen i receptionen […] har inte mycket lokalkännedom, så det är inte mycket hjälp att fråga dem. Hade utsikt mot ett grått schakt från fönstret, men det var tyst på nätterna. Fint uden at være prangende. God beliggenhed til shoppetur.

Hotellet ligger perpekt. Sød dame i receptionen, der dog ikke kendte området særlig godt. Nedslidt men hyggeligt.

Excellent hostel, mais qualité hotel manque. Les meubles ont plus de 20 ans, les chambres sont très petites. Beacoup de bruit coté rue

Завтрак в отеле приносится в номер и никогда (!), по крайней мере за две недели моего пребывания, ассортимент не меняется - одно вареное яйцо, два тоста (просто хлеб) с мизерным количеством джема и масла, + чай или кофе. Смысл завтрака не понятен. Номер в убитом состоянии, ванна не закрывается, вдерцы шкафов отваливаются и остаются в руках. Постель […] с пятнами. Убираются чисто и полотенца меняют каждый день. Правда я оставлял один функт как TIPs на столе каждый день. Зато в центре, всегда можно поймать такси или уйти в метро. И есть беспоатный Wifi в номере. Continua a leggere

Handy location for travel to Central London. Great area for restaurants and pub's. The hotel is a great hub with basic services. More a B&B than a hotel, but certainly value for money!

Dirty, rundown hotel. Unpleasant employees lacking language skills, i.e. unable to properly engange in the English language. Basically, a "dump".

Hotellet er gammelt og slidt og indbyder ikke til, at man opholder sig der ud over om natten. Der er ingen restaurant - morgenmaden serveres som room-service. Beliggenheden er meget fint, tæt på stationen og med cafeer m.v. lige uden for døren. Hyggeligt kvarter. Konklusion: Man får, hvad man betaler for.

En veninde og jeg var i starten af juni 2011 i London. Vi havde valgt Brompton Hotel og det var vi tilfredse med. God belligenhed ( 50 m fra South Kensington underground station med circle, district og piccadilly line ). Gåafstand Kensington Gardens, Palace og Harrods Stormagasin. Det eneste man godt kun ønske lidt mere af var måske morgenmaden. Der […] var ingen restaurant på hotellet så maden blev serveret på værelset. Den continentale breakfast bestod af to stykker ristet toast, lidt marmelade og kaffe the. Men heldigvis ligger der lige udenfor hotellet både en Starbucks og en Pret a Manger og det er ikke dyrt. Så alt i alt et godt hotel til en storbytur, hvor det jo formentlig ikke er på hotellet man skal opholde sig størstedelen af tiden. Nå jo, rengøringen helt i top. Nye håndklæder og sæbe hver dag, støvsuget og redt seng hver dag.. super lækkert. Vil gerne anbefale dette hotel til andre. Continua a leggere

The hotel was conveniently located, next to the tube, and it was quiet enough, but nothing out of the ordinary. No a/c meant that it was either very hot or very cold (when we had to open the window), and thr fridge was quite noisy.

Skabbigt och slitet. Ingen hiss, bodde på vån 4. Receptionen på en trappavsats. Sliten inredning och ofräscht badrum. Frukost levererades på en bricka utanför dörren. Men suveränt läge : )
