"Beautiful setting"
The positive aspects of the hotel and setting certainlay outnumbered the negatives which were that some of the staff were very unfriendly and the shower was a wet room which you could only use on very low pressure because of the strong risk of flooding which meant that I could not wash my hair. A good half hour to walk into town.

"Hotel close to Cefalu"
The hotel is located a short 5 minute car ride from Cefalu (there is also a coastal walking route that leads to the townin ca 30 minutes) and hence a good option if you want to avoid the huste/bustle and parking problems in town. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean and its own little private beach. There is also a decent sized pool away […] from the ocean. The rooms are of good size, though the design of the shower was poor (only splash protection on one side) leading to the bathroom flooding every time one took a shower. Also maintenance was somewhat lacking as the door handle of the balconey door came of when I tried to open it. The hotel advertised free wireless Internet in all rooms but this turned out to be entirely untrue. There are weak routers in the lobby and the bar area but none of the signals reaches a room (we tried the room directly above the lobby router and there was no signal). The breakfast buffet is above average for Italian standards. Staff was pretty friendly apart from the check-in person who kept telling us that the hotel did not promise Internet in the rooms, just to be proven wrong when we showed him the details they had provided on hotels.com Nevertheless a nice place to stay. "Super Lage - IKEA-Buffet"
Hotel an sich gut und empfehlenswert, morgens am Buffet herrscht jedoch IKEA-Atmosphäre mit Plastikbechern und Nescafé. Sehr freundliche KellnerInnen, Bademeister (6.10.2011) sehr frech.

The hotel has a lovely view, nice place to take a dip in the sea before breakfast. A short walk in to the centre of Cerfalu. The city on the edge of the cliff is charming and romantic. If you need a beach there is one by the city. Romantic, charming and quiet.

un hotel à recommander surtout pour sa situation remarquable. Dans une petite crique privée, terrasse en promontoire sur la baie, une vue sur la mer fantastique. Les chambres au dernier étage sont un peu petites mais la vue depuis la terrasse est tellement belle qu'on oublie tres vite . Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la plage aménagée avec parasol […] , transat et mini bar reservée aux client de l'hotel (à dire vrai il faut descendre quelques marches mais ça vaut le coup). la facade meriterait quelques renovations mais l'ensemble donne une ambiance "vintage " c'est l'italie des années 60 Continua a leggere

Godt hotel med mange faciliteter. Fantastisk udsigt fra restaurantens terasse, hvor man kan nyde sin mad - morgen som aften - med udsigt til nordkysten af øen. God service i receptionen. Har man gode ben, kan man gå ind til Cefalu - men ellers ligger det 10 minutters kørsel fra midtbyen med butikker og restauranter. Der mangler måske lige en kiosk/forretning […] i nærheden, men man kan få det meste i baren - der også er leveringsdygtig i sandwich til en køretur/picnic. Anbefalelsesværdigt. Continua a leggere

"Kalura Hotel - Stillhet!"
Booket en uke på Kalura hotel i Cefalu, og det kan trygt anbefales. Hvis du er på utkikk etter super comfort, og luksus er det kanskje ikke stedet å dra, men du får hva du betaler for. Rommet var helt greit, enkel standard, savnet kjøleskap. Det var rolig på hotell området, noe vi satt pris på, 109 trappe trinn ned til en koselig badeplass, også der […] stille og rolig. Der kunne man velge mellom betong platting, eller strand. Fine badeforhold, både for barn og voksne. Fra hotellet kan man gå inn til Cefalu sentrum, tar ca en halvtimes tid. Maten på hotellet var helt grei, litt dyr, vi foretrakk å spise i byen, der det bugnet av gode restauranter. Hotellet har hyggelige ansatte, og en herlig atmosfære. God tur! Klem fra Kjæresteparet. Hotel punktet durch seine Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Meer, Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unseres Zimmers (waren auf Rundreise durch Sizilien) nur mäßig!
"Hotel Kalura situation panoramique"
Bel emplacement à 10mn à pied de la petite ville de Cefalu. Superbe situation avec très belle terrasse sur la mer. Chambre confortable, propre. Buffet petit déjeuner corerct, personnel acceuillant et polyglote. A privilégier pour un séjour de découverte de la région.
Trés bonne situation pour cet hôtel, à la fois en retrait de cefalu pour la tranquilité et à seulement 2 km du centre ville trés facile d'accés. A 10 mn à pied, un trés bon resto sur le port auquel on accède par un petit chemin derrière l'hôtel (Cela évite le resto de l(hôtel plu scher et moins typique) L'hôtel quant à lui offre le calme, le repos, […] une situation magnifique et de nombreuses activités (fitness, location vélos,...) ; le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est un régal... Pensez néanmoins à prévenir le souhait de la vue sur mer, toutes les chambres ne l'ont pas. Pour info, c'était notre cas, nous leur avons demandé s'il était possible de changer et par chance une chambre de catégorie supérieure était encore disponible, ils nous ont de suite changer de chambre et pour un supplément zéro, sympa ! "Hotell Kalura Sicilien - vackert beläget på udden"
Bästa 3-stjärniga hotellet jag varit på. Endast frukostterassen sklijde rummets balkon på tredje våningen och havet. Fina solterasser, vänlig personal och frukost med ägg, yoghurt, underbart gott sicilianskt bröd, stort urval av gifflar och diverse andra söta kakor. En lagom ansträngande, något backig promenad in till Cefalu på ca 2 km. 103 trappsteg […] ner till den lilla stranden med kristallklart vatten. Hade lite otur med vädret, men skulle gärna återvända. Stråande vackert beläget hotell med utsikt över havet, fin badplats för ett dopp och snorkling i det klara grön-blå vattnet. Rejäl frukost på den stora altanen med utsikt över havet och halvtimmes promenad till gamla Cefalu för middag på någon av de utmärkta fisk restaurangerna.
