The Hotel Ovest in Piacenza was a convenient overnight sstop for us on our way to Florence. Staff at reception were outstanding, and we thought our... bedrooms were excellent - cool, spacious and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant rather than set out in the heat and after a long drive to look for somewhere else: it was adequate, with some rather inefficient but cheerful service, though not somewhere to make a detour to eat at!
