L'hotel è situato in zona centrale, a pochi passi da diverse fermate della tube e di autobus, compreso il Big Bas turistico. In zona ci sono diversi locali dove è possibile mangiare. Il personale è di una gentilezza squisita ed è sempre disposto ad assistere il cliente nelle sue necessità. Le camere soino molto piccole e i bagni veramente spartani, scomodi e piuttosto primitivi. L'hotel è situato in una zona tranquilla, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro di Glouchester road e a 10 minuti da Earl's Court. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera da 4 persone collocata nel seminterrato, composta di due letti singoli e di un letto ad una piazza e mezza che per l'occasione era diventato un letto matrimoniale. La stanza era piccola […] e stretta, dotata di tv e di una finestra di difficile apertura che dava allo scantinato. Il bagno era di dimensioni adatte alla semplice sopravvivenza, ma privo di moquette, e già provvisto di asciugamani che venivano prontamente cambiati ogni giorno. Di per sè la stanza non era un gran che, ma veniva sistemata ogni giorno. La colazione è super abbondante, in stile inglese, viene servita al tavolo e ogni 2 secondi passa il gestore a offrire dolci, frutta, caffè... Può essere che le tazze non siano tutte dello stesso servizio, e che sia necessario condividere il tavolo con altri turisti. I gestori sono gentilissimi, ed estremamente disponibili, e l'entrata dell'hotel è aperta 24ore su 24. E' un buon compromesso qualità prezzo per i turisti che hanno spirito di adattamento ed è più che accettabile per chi visita la città tutto il giorno e sfrutta la camera solo per dormire. Camera indecente, piccola, con letto matrimoniale minuscolo e traballante, attaccato ad una parete ( per scendere bisognava scavalcare l'altra persona !!!), con un solo comodino, lenzuola vecchie e consumate, coperte corte e dalla dubbia igiene, asciugamani vecchi di un secolo.Il bagno con un lavandino incredibilmente piccolo ed incassato nella parete, […] con un accesso quindi quasi impossibile, tavoletta del water vecchia e traballante. La colazione, sia pur abbondante, ci è stata servita in un ambiente surreale, che sapeva tanto di dopoguerra, con piattini, bicchieri e tazze tutti diseguali, vecchissimi e rimediati qua e là. This is one of the more inexpensive hotel rooms in London, but it shows in the size of the room. A very tiny room and bed that would be very uncomfortable for anyone 6' or taller. Bathroom similarly very small. Light in hallway a distraction when going to sleep as the transom above the entry door was glass and did not have a shade over it.

Stayed the night at this hotel which was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Breakfast was an experience with seemingly endless plates of fruit and cold meats being offered by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. This was on top of a fry up, didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Very helpful reception.

The location was very convenient for access to the tube/ museums around South Kensington. Room was small but very comfortable. Breakfast was very generous and it was great to have use of the kitchen for dinner in the evenings.

The hotel is located in a upscale neighborhood. It is an ideal base to explore London. The hotel is quite old but has been kept in good condition. Staff are great and love to feed you more than you need. Overall an ideal place to stay for a trip to London.

Very friendly family owned hotel. Lift a bit dodgy. Few problems with lights. High ceilings of a converted house into a hotel. Eccentric and dated, but the location is convenient. The stay at St. Simeon was very pleasing. We enjoyed our stay because they made us feel at home, especially when it was breakfast time. Breakfast was so good! The staff was really nice and allowed me to use their phone to confirm tour times. They also helped my sister out when she called to make sure we were ok. The only thing we didn't enjoy, was the […] size of the room. It was too small. I've stayed in other hotels in Europe and I know they are small compared to the US, but that one was definitely very small. We couldn't even unpack. Despite that, I would stay there again, but I would make sure that we get a bigger room. Another great thing about the hotel, was that the metro was really close, many restaurants close by, great neighborhood. Overall, great experience in London this past Christmas holiday. Loved it! We picked this hotel based on location, and that a full breakfast was included. The hotel is right off the Piccadilly line, which is the direct line to Heathrow Airport...being that is was our first time to London that was essential. on first entering the hotel all seemed well. when we were shown to our room. ( 4 bed family room ) we were took downstairs into the basement. Our room was next to the breakfast room & kitchen. The room was clean, but very small, which is normal for London. The hotel is very dated. The mattress was a bit worn and slightly uncomfortable. There was supposted to be internet avaiable in the lobby, but it was not working the night I was staying. Overall it is OK for a budget hotel in London.

Had a great time here. The staff were very friendly, the room was just as we expected for a budget hotel, no frills but nice! Perfect location! My only problem was that the fire door 4 feet from our hotel room door slammed closed every time someone went through it.

Me and three friends had booked a four bedroom room from St Simeons to go to the Eurogamer Expo at Earls Court. When we arrived we were informed that our room was undergoing maintenance but were more than happy to split us to two rooms for no extra charge. The rooms were basic but not bad at all. The location was perfect as it is just a short walk to Earls Court and an even shorter walk to the nearest tube which takes straight into the heart of London. If I had wanted to spend more time sightseeing I may still pick this hotel due to the area being very safe. I lived in London for years knowing accomodation standard well,it didn't come as suprise the size of the room or the bed. at the same time we were going there just for a weekend,knowing we'd spend very little time in the room so it being small didn't bother us. bathroom was clean, shower super (great pressure, for London it's a wov!!! we were on ground […] floor though) staff is very helpful (although not much of smiley people), nice and willing to give you help with your stay (direction, suggestion etc); breakfast is huge and could sure fill you up for the whole morning. TV works fine with plenty of channels (no fancy stuff but can find good movies) dining room has TV and we used it for chat and drinks once back from our evening out. location is pretty good, close to the tube and a huge Sainsburys (supermarket),many places to eat nearby (head towards the tube or towards Earl's court) including pubs for a drink. if you are a "big" person be careful, our double bed was more like a big single one, not much of a problem for us but i know that many of the USA ppl visiting and writing on here might find it uncomfortable. I would just ask to renew the bath towel stock, some of them have clearly been washed too many times and are like sandpaper on your body. same with the pillows and the floor carpet, they've seen better days. this are small details, overall we enjoyed the place and we will sure consider it for our next weekend in London to see our friends. We arrived to a warm welcome and were given a spacious room on 2 levels for our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and clean . Although there wasn't a shower curtain, the bathroom was adequate and spotless. We stayed one night and enjoyed the breakfast!! St. Simeon is a nice hotel in a very pleasant part of London. The staff were very helpful. Free Breakfast was excellent - a real surprise - and a solid start for a good days sightseeing. We also left an iPod which the staff found and helped to get back to us...nice to see honesty still exists!

Hotel is in a very good southwestern portion of London. Easily walkable to tube stations within 5 minutes. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Breakfast is also very good with a full english breakfast and a lot of fruit to choose from. The rooms are a bit smallish, but are clean.

A good base in an excellent area of London. Felt very safe walking about late at night. Handy for Gloucestor Road tube (5 min walk) and a number of resturants, cafes etc. A further 10 minute walk and you have South Kensington. V&A, Nat History & Science museums 10 min walk. Kings Road - 15 mins walk. Room we had was ok. Beds comfortable enough. Other […] furniture and en-suite dated but useable. Ensuite had a bath with a hand shower. We were in an attic room, therefore coombed ceiling which was an annoyance. TV signal not great. This is not the Ritz but if you are in London to see the city, shop, etc. you don't need (or want to pay) for extra facilities. Its a good solid base. Breakfasts are 'eat as much as you want'. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was always huge and delicious. This hotel had a great location. Very close to the tube station and not too far from the Natural History Museum (a must see for families and it's free!) Don't expect the huge rooms and bathrooms many are accustomed to in North America but the sheets were clean and beds comfy.
