Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

"che freddo..."
hotel comodo, dietro l' Empire (la cui parte alta si vede dalle finestre delle camere), davanti alla fermata della metro. personale freddo, gentile quanto basta. camera comoda per gli standard di ny, bagno con vasca. tutto bene a parte due cose: 1) abbiamo chiesto più volte se era possibile prolungare il soggiorno di un giorno e ci è stato detto di […] sì, ma solo prenotando via internet (postazione vicina alla reception) ed a un costo che al momento era triplo rispetto a quello pagato. ci siamo spostati nell' albergo adiacente che per una notte ci ha fatto spendere una cifra ragionevole offrendoci anche la colazione; 2) l' aria condizionata in camera. abbiamo lasciato avvisi in inglese sopra il termostato chidendo di non accenderla e regolarmente veniva accesa dal personale di servizio. la mattina anche se spenta l' aria partiva da sola ed anulla serviva alzarsi e spegnerla, perchè da lì ad un quarto d' ora ripartiva: un incubo. segnalato la cosa alla rec. l' unica risposta sono stati due cioccolatini con le scuse dell' albergo. risultato: raffreddore per due. Hotel pulito anche se piuttosto anonimo. La camera era decisamente piccola con un bagno sacrificato e dall'aspetto un po' fatiscente. Loved the newness of the hotel! The room and bathroom were spotless. Hallway is narrow and a little noisy when hearing others come down the hall. The elevator service was a little annoying in that there seemed no real logic to the way the elevators worked and they were small for the size of the hotel. Very picky here, but the welcome brochure was poorly […] printed, needed a new cartridge, and didn't serve any real purpose. Also, received a printed note in my room saying they didn't clean it because they noticed my privacy sign on the door. Waste of paper. I enjoyed my overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Each staff member who assisted me was courteous and helpful. My room was not large, but it had everything I needed in a space that was just big enough. My wake up call was right on time to get me to the appointment I needed to reach. "Very nice hotel tucked in near Herald Square."
We were very pleased with our room. The front desk was very nice. Lobby was clean and inviting. Enjoyed the infused water and cookies set out for guest . We had the buffet breakfast on the morning of check out. Thought the price was a little high, but then again we were in NYC..... Food selection was good and fresh. Made to order eggs/omlets were a […] plus. Our city side room was on a lower floor. but we still had a nice view of the Empire State Bldg. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. Bed was comfortable. "Great hotel in a great location."
At first I was apprehensive about getting a hotel so close to the crowds when travelling with kids but I didn't regret this. It is close to Bryant park which is a wonderful visit for kids. The service should have been better. Although most people were good, I had two experiences that were below average. One was a semi-rude receptionist (he was rushing […] me) and a concierge who was of absolutely no help, especially seeing that we had two hungry kids and were desperately looking for a place to eat. Her recommendations were highly inappropriate for kids and how can you say that there are only two places within two blocks. This is NYC! There were so many within two blocks. "A Hop Skip & Jump from the Heart of Times Square"
Service at this hotel was the best I have had in a long time, superior! Hotel itself was a big tight and the elevator rides can be a nightmare at times (took me 15 minutes to got 20 floors 10am-ish) Hotel was very clean and comfortable oh btw cable selections was sub par, no HBO! We arrived to the hotel around 9am to check and the hotel was happy to hold our luggage until our room was available. Good, clean business hotel, right off 5th Ave. Comfortable with good amenities. Breakfast was expensive ($36 for two, just for the buffet, plus tip). Rooms are snug, with furniture placement requiring you to move the desk chair every time you want to pass into the room (kinda dumb). The Hilton Garden Inn was very nice and they offer a great rate. The Hilton Garden Inn's staff were extremely helpful and polite. Our room/hotel was very clean, hotel location was great, the subway was right around the corner, the parking garage (which is an addt'l daily fee) was a great price and easy to walk to/from the hotel, very close to Times […] Square, all types of restaurants and shopping to choose from. I just stayed here for one night and the location couldn't have been better. There's a subway line virtually outside your door, Penn Station is just a short walk away, as are Macy's, The Empire State Building, and many other attractions and restaurants.
