hotel comodo, dietro l' Empire (la cui parte alta si vede dalle finestre delle camere), davanti alla fermata della metro. personale freddo, gentile quanto basta. camera comoda per gli standard di ny, bagno con vasca. tutto bene a parte due cose: 1) abbiamo chiesto più volte se era possibile prolungare il soggiorno di un giorno e ci è stato detto di […] sì, ma solo prenotando via internet (postazione vicina alla reception) ed a un costo che al momento era triplo rispetto a quello pagato. ci siamo spostati nell' albergo adiacente che per una notte ci ha fatto spendere una cifra ragionevole offrendoci anche la colazione; 2) l' aria condizionata in camera. abbiamo lasciato avvisi in inglese sopra il termostato chidendo di non accenderla e regolarmente veniva accesa dal personale di servizio. la mattina anche se spenta l' aria partiva da sola ed anulla serviva alzarsi e spegnerla, perchè da lì ad un quarto d' ora ripartiva: un incubo. segnalato la cosa alla rec. l' unica risposta sono stati due cioccolatini con le scuse dell' albergo. risultato: raffreddore per due. ho soggiornato una settimana e tornerei con piacere. La posizione è meravigliosa, a 10 secondi dalla metropolitana, ad angolo con Macy's, tra la quinta e la convergenza tra Broadway e sesta. La camera era abbastanza sufficientemente spaziosa. L'unica cosa che non mi è andata giù è il servizio di chi rifaceva la camera: o non metteva saponi e detergenti […] o mancavano le bustine del the, il pigiama lo trovavamo sempre arrotolato a palla di pezza. In ottima posizione a ridosso dell'Empire State Building, la struttura non ha quasi spazi comuni, a parte il bar ed il ristorante. Anche la camera era decisamente angusta con pochissimo spazio per muoversi e per sistemare le proprie cose. Hotel rooms very small, the sheets on the bed had to be 50 thread. The sheets would not stay on the bed. With that being said, modern hotel and decor is excellent . Staff was great and accommodating. The breakfast was far above any free breakfast, so many things to choose from. Several Cooks waiting too cook to order. Some foods of course buffet style. […] Wait staff atenitive to all. Make your own waffles. Plenty of fruit and large selection of fruit juices, whole grains,egg whites, turkey sausage, something for every diet.Over all wonderful place to stay, and yes I'll stay again. The Hilton Hotel was great. It was in a convenient place to get to everything that I wanted to see and do. The food was good in the dinning area. The employees were pleasant and the stay was affordable.

Ill stay here again next time. Right next to a subway stop, Starbucks and just about anything you need. My wife and I both thought it was way more than we expected.

I stayed at this hotel for a week on business. They have a great gym, convenient breakfast and the rooms were nice also. Very clean and updated. The location could not have been better and the staff went above and beyond! I'll definetly go back.

i was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The accommodations were excellent and the price ws very reasonable.Definitely consider this hotel,if it available for your trip!

Great Location.. right at Herald Square! just 10 blocks from Times square!! Subway is right under the hotel making commute within the city very easy! Downside is the size of the regular room - too cramped! But the clean rooms and toilets make up for the loss of space. Plus got a good deal from Hotels.com!! Two good deli's serving breakfast right around […] the corner and a couple of restaurants and bars on the same street. Wifi included in the room rate!! Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn to be close to McGraw-Hill, at 2 Penn Plaza. Very pleased with the room!

Though I only stayed one night I found the service and accommadations to be excellent. The room size was good and the shower was terrific. The bed was very comfortable. It had a sleep number adjustment on it!! I hope my company picks this Inn for me again in the near future. Oh and the surrounding area was great!

This hotel was so great! I was incredibly pleased with the cleanliness of the room, which was quite spacious. Also, Tammy at the front desk was great, gave us a good restaurant recommendation, and thoughtfully asked us how we were each time we saw her. From the free cookies at check-in to the free coffee on the bar in the morning, this hotel has warm, friendly touches. Midtown isn't my favorite part of the city, but it certainly is convenient. Our room was small, there is really only space to lay open one suitcase if you are using both beds and if you don't want to use the desktop as a luggage rack. […] But it wasn't the smallest big city, downtown hotel room I've stayed in. Great service as well. I usually stay at 4star hotels, but this was great!

The Hotel is vert well situated close to all major attractions. The room was quite small; otherwise, everything was good. Wi-Fi works perfectly and is free. Would recommend this hotel ; especially, if you stay for a short time and do not spend too much in the room.

Super great location in the heart of everything. My only complaint was the room received was just across from the elevator even though I arrived at the hotel first thing in the morning. However, they were very nice enough to relocate me to a quieter room which was much better. The Hilton Staff were very friendly and no complaints. Check in was fast and friendly and our room on the 16th floor was clean, comfortable, and not as small as we had expected (considering the great rate and all the reviews noting that the rooms were very small!). Flat screen TV, cushiony beds: good good. The convenient location of this hotel was awesome! It is right by the subway station, close to Macy's in Herald Square, close to the Empire State Building, and steps away from yummy Koreatown. I picked this hotel based on reviews and was not a bit disappointed. It couldn't have been a better location. Herald Square station is mere feet away from the door, and you can catch a train to anywhere in Manhattan. Felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. If we ever get back to NYC we will definitely stay here again.

Our room smelled like bathroom deodorant, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Although the hotel's on a quiet little block, if we looked left (and up) out our window, we saw the Empire State Bldg one block away, and if we looked right, Macy's on Herald Square. The rooms are small but very clean and attractive; obviously recently updated and redecorated. It got pretty crowded in the equally small lobby those days after Christmas, […] but the staff handled it very graciously and were all very helpful. Our only complaint; the elevators were S-L-O-W. Some folks we were crammed in with said they'd waited 30 minutes and finally walked down 8 flights of stairs. Perhaps it was just the holiday crush, but still .... Continua a leggere

This was a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Mannhatan. Except for the size of the room which was quite small, this hotel had all the amenities and was reasonably priced. The staff was efficient. Check in and check out were prompt.

Had the driver not dropped me off at the wrong location I thought, uh oh?! Fortunately off by half a block and was wonderfully surprised by the pleasant professional staff of the Hotel at check in and then to see how close I was to Herald Square, forget it-this will be the NYC city spot for me-bizness or pleasure. The hotel was great and very accomodating. We checked out at noon, but they held on to our suitcases until 5 pm. We also kept the car in the lot until 5 pm, and didn't have any trouble paying the one parking fee.

I opted for the city view room which had a wondeful close up view of the Empire State Building which is particularly stellar at night. The problem is if you are on the street side you hear the street noise. The rooms are very small and the elevators tend to get too crowded during the midday with checkouts and checkins. However, ther room was very clean, the bed was very good, no bedbugs, and the hotel's location was close to Times Square without the "seedy" problems that occur with neighborhoods on the West side of Times Square. Food is supplied by a neighboring […] restaurant, with discounts for hotel guests; there is a breakfast buffet on-site every morning with made-to-order entrees. Great location!! Walking distance to Times square, Herald square, and Korea town. Small room, but it was understandable considedring it's located in midtown manhattan.

Everything from the staff to the location was great. Bartender in lounge was great and helpful. If I could say anything negative, it would be that the elevators took forever and were very small. Overall a nice place that I would stay again.
