Ho soggiornato con mio marito nel mese d'agosto ,Hotel molto carino camera pulitissima, l'unica cosa da sottolineare è che la prenotazione fatta con Hotel.com diceva colazione gratuita,mentre l'hotel ci ha dato la colazione fino a 7 dollari canadesi il restante conto và pagato, non è molta la differenza da dare,ma chi soggiorna in questo hotel deve […] sapere. The room was great, we had the jacuzzi suite. The in house pub was lacking in personality. It seemed like the staff there may have been from another department and were working in the pub because they were required to. Our problem with the hotel was the noise. Trains run behind it all night and if anyone showers at night or walks somewhere close to your room it is very noisy. I also am aware that this is not something they can change. The breakfast that is free with the lodging is superb. It is right off of their menu. The staff was very nice and helpful. A lot of effort has been put into this Inn to give the atmosphere of an Old English location. We visited in August and the weather was nice ( obviously no snow like in winter ) Its a good place to base yourself to explore the surrounding area.

The hotel is dated, but that is part of the charm. The bed was uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is walking distance from the shops and restaurants. The moring breakfast is fantastic, but note that you may need to get there early as it fills up quickly. Good for a night stay.

Great little hotel, only downside was the bar staff who ignored customers, helped themselves to drink,s. No one at reception past 8pm didn't help.

The Georgetown Inn was all that we expected and more. We had a corner room with excellent views of the mountains from two windows. The room was large and quite comfortable with a refridgerator. A bit noisy, thanks to having a room above the outdoor bar area and to the trains that go by. Earplugs helped a whole bunch. Otherwise fine, and the outdoor bar area can only work for a few months of the year in this part of the world!

Gem of a hotel in Canmore. Room with jacuzzi was comfortable and enjoyable. Had dinner, dessert, and two breakfasts downstairs at the restaurant, and everything was phenomenal. Probably the best value in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Inn. The ladies at the Reception Desk were always cheerful, and did their best to assist us when we asked for directions. The room was quiet and comfortable. We were especially impressed with the delicious breakfast which was included with our stay! Thank you!

Our room (208) looked out over the restaurant courtyard so it was noisy. The trains run frequently just across the street. The air conditioning window unit was noisy and cycled off and on a lot. The carpet in the hallway was threadbare. However our room, while not large, was pleasant and there was a tray with a teapot and two cookies awaiting us. A […] nice touch. Your staff were very kind and professional at all times. I think for the price of the room we were charged you should at least have better quality sheets and not old ones time to throw those ones out and purchase some nice sheets. The hotel is great but it really needs to be cleaned the washrooms in the lounge were disgusting, I couldn't even look down […] on the floor. This was a great deal and I'm so glad we stayed at the Georgetown Inn for part of our honeymoon trip! When we arrived the front desk staff were so friendly and wanted to talk about our trip and give us directions and recommendations. We stayed in one of the Elizabeth rooms. While small, it was definitely adequate to fit our needs. There was a small […] kitchen area with a sink. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower head. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well in it. I normally never sleep well in a hotel! There was some noise from the restaurant on one night, but it ended early and I was not bothered. We also weren't bothered much by the noise of the trains in the night even though we faced the track. The absolute best part of this inn is their breakfast that's included with your stay. It's delicious! I particularly liked the apple french toast, but you can't go wrong with any choice. It is so good that other hotels in the area recommend going to the Georgetown Inn for breakfast. I was there for a little romantic get away. when i arrived at the hotel, i was delighted at the rustic charm of the hotel. the staff were very tentitive to my needs, and offered sugestions as to where to go and what to do. We booked a one night stay on the net. on our way to a vacation. I hope the rest of our trip is as pleasant as our first night. As with most bookings on line I did not know what to expect but when we arrived we found a quaint little hotel that has been renovated to the extent that our room seemed new. This is an inn - not the Hilton! Rooms have been renovated but signs of wear in frayed towels, blinds worn, and bedspread faded. The elevator was not working during our stay. Very pleasant stay. Only concern was that the room wasn't serviced. Washing machine and dryer available free of charge. Pleasant pub atmosphere in evening. Both breakfast and evening meals were good. It had real character.

The outside of the hotel looks very much like a little countryside inn in England. Had heating issues where upper rooms were very hot. Needed windows open and/or AC on. Nice restaurant in hotel with great breakfasts included, which was a nice bonus.

Once again we enjoyed staying at the Georgetown Inn, the location, the room + breakfast & the staff well above par, will definitely return. Ate at the Inn on the Friday night, food & drinks really good, walked into Canmore (just over 5 mins) on the Saturday night for dinner

We had a good stay. Quibbles would be that the cleaner hadn't done a great job (I could see where someone had dropped candy under the drawers and it hadn't been vacuumed), and that the front desk didn;t open as it was meant to when the time came to check out. Oh, and the window was broken, so closing it was a bit of a tussle.

A real gem in Canmore. We were surprised how nice it was. Great little place - more like B&B then hotel. Will definitely stay again. The included breakfast was a real breakfast - not stale muffins and lukewarm coffee!

They found out we were there for an anniversary trip and upgraded us to a room with hot tub for no more money! We liked the decor, setting, quietness, and breakfast from the in-house restraunt. We give it an A+!!

However the bed was hard/too firm and this particular room was right next to the railroad tracks so not a very restful sleep after driving for 7 hours on our way through to Edmonton. Had a great stay here - very helpful staff and the surroundings were like a canadian version of an english pub with a quaint bar downstairs that leads to an outside courtyard. Roaring log fire at breakfast dining, quaint surroundings and interesting art and nick nacks on the walls. Nestled in Canmore just off TC1, surrounded by mountain peaks, an easy […] drive to Banff, definitely value for money. My room had a huge bed, spa bath as well as separate shower. Very fast wireless internet and free breakfast voucher included in room price (if you want to really indulge, go for the famous selection of french toasts). Best of all was the corridor outside my room where they had mounted posters, stills and information on many of the famous hollywood films that had shot in the area over the years - very interesting.
