I must say I am a critic when it comes to hotels. I expect what I am promised, and the Hilton has never let me down. I loved the Hilton Garden Inn above all Hilton hotels. My husband and I had no problems what-so-ever. The room was very clean, the staff were very polite, It was quiet, and we were surrounded with shopping and dining. Loved it

This can't be beat for the price. The staff was easy to work with and gave us a great room. There was plenty of parking, convenient food/beverage and the room was decorated modern and very clean. This property was even better than anticipated for the price paid!

My husband & I spent two very comfortable nights in late December in this very nice hotel! It is located near the streams for winter steelhead trout fishing for him and the Millcreek Mall for shopping for me! I was really happy with every aspect of our stay in this hotel, especially the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. The breakfast was amazing, and the service was friendly and professional. We will definitely stay here again.

My mom, sister and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was outstanding. The location is perfect - close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly....overall an excellent experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Very nice hotel. It is clean, the staff are great. My only recommenation for them is to get rid of their adjustable firmness matrssess. The Hilton Garden Inn Erie location is great, lots of dining and shopping close by. Was told that breakfast was included however upon arrival was told that the price paid does not include breakfast

"family trip"
Spent 2 days at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good with a very wide selection of food to choose. Alot of resturants. Walmart and Target store not far away at all. Staff were very friendly. Grove City is about an hour away for shopping. There is also another store called Gabriel Brothers where you can be lucky to find some very nice designer […] clothing at dirt cheap prices as well. The best part of the hotel is the deepest end of the pool is less than 5ft which is good if you are travelling with children as there is no life gaurd available and if you do not know how to swim, you do not have to worry too much. We had a Room for 4 adults and a child. Had enough space and room was clean. Good service, friendly staff and free WiFi. Nice restaurant with bar if you're too tired to go out.

My sister and I just came back from a weekend get away and we stayed at the Garden Inn for 2 nights. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff were not only helpful, but very friendly. I would definitely recommend this location to friends.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden. It's a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. I stay in many hotels and this is an average 3 star. It's clean and modern and our room had a sitting area & frig which is nice if one of you likes to stay up later/get up earlier than the other. The pool was tiny and the smell of chlorine wafted down […] the hallway. Exercise room was also small, but I had no problem accessing the machines (1 elliptical, 2 treadmilles, free weights). It seemed overpriced to me, but all hotels in Erie in the summer seem overpriced. It's right next to the I-90 and a bunch of budget restaurants like Chipotle, Eat Inn Park, and Cracker Barrel. Also across the street from a WalMart. So access is very easy but it's congested, no place to get out and walk or run, not pretty, but again, that's Erie. There's free coffee in the lobby, but breakfast is $9. It was delicious, though. The free breakfasts we've had at places like LaQuinta are not fresh or nutritious, so I didn't mind paying for a good breakfast. Parking is free. The Residence Inn just a bit up Peach St. is nicer because you can get two separate bedrooms plus a sitting area for the same price, but it was full. Continua a leggere

The hotel Garden inn Erie is a nice hotel. The only thing I did not like was the fact there was no complimentary break fast. They have a breakfast buffet you can purchase for $8.95. I usually like the hotels that rpvoide break fast. Everything else was fine.

"Close to everything Erie has to offer"
This hotel is right off I-90. There are plenty of resurants nearby if you don't want to eat in the hotel's resturant. There is a Wal-Mart nearby if you want to pick up some drinks and snacks for the room.

One of the nice features was the location being so close to I-90. Many resaurants in walking distance as well as gas station and shopping. The pool though small was nice with easy access for folks that need well spaced steps and rails. Towels,seating with tables and large restrooms are all in the pool area. This hotel was great mostly because of its location - it is so close to shopping, movie theatres and palces to eat! It was clean, comfortable and decently priced (thanks to hotels.ca). We would definitely stay there again. The jacuzzi we had in our room was ncie and relaxing and fun because it was in the room instead of the bathroom! "Great place to stay in Erie"
I'm generally a hotel snob and I really liked this hotel. I'm also a runner and I'm picky about treadmills and their workout facility was very nice. I was also surprised to find that the food was very good. I will definitely be back!

The room was clean and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfortable and the temperature controls easy to find and adjust. The bathrooms were clean and the Jacuzzi tub ( a real Jacuzzi tub!) was easy to operate and very relaxing. The hotel breakfast was great. Omlettes,pancackes, french toast made to order and all the usual choices were also available.Easy […] access from the highway. Good restaurants and lots of shopping. All close by. We will be back. "Close to fun activity for kids"
My son and I came to Erie to have some fun at a local water park. We stayed in the hotel, only minutes from the park. It was new and beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the a.m.; as they had healthy choices available.

This is a first class hotel. Service is excellent and attentive - no fuss, just good. Very comfortable rooms. Go0d restaurant. Will return if passing again.
The location was good and traffic noise was not able to be heard. Hotel was very quiet during the night which it what most traveller are looking for.

My husband & I visit Erie quite often. This was our first stay @ this particular hotel. We were extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff, our clean comfortable room. "dissapointed with this hotel...was expecting more"
When we arrived to check in we were greeted by a not so welcoming female clerk whom didn’t seem very pleasant. She checked us in & gave us our room keys. When we entered our room everything looked very nice, updated & clean. My husband went in to use the bathroom and when he came out mentioned that the toilet was not flushing properly. He called down […] to the front desk & they sent someone up to our room. Well for about 10 minutes the maintenance man was “plunging” our toilet while we sat in the room & waited. It was not a pleasant start to the trip. I can’t understand how the cleaning person hadn’t noticed this & reported it so that the next guests wouldn’t have to deal with this issue. But we decided it was fixed, so we would go down and have dinner at the Safari Grill in the hotel. However as we were exiting our room the door would not lock & my husband had to repeatedly slam the door until in finally locked. On our way to dinner we stopped by the front desk to report the door problem & the woman offered to change our room. Of course we had reserved a King bed but all she had available were queen beds, so we took that & swapped rooms & then went back down for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant & the hostess told us it would be just a minute until we were seated so we waited in the sitting area where she told us we could wait. Another hostess came by about 5 minutes later & told us the same thing as the first hostess. Then after another 5 minutes or so the chef asked us if we wanted to be seated (he seemed a bit confused as to why we were waiting). Anyway it wasn’t a long wait so we weren’t too upset. It took a bit for our waitress to get to us but once she did she was available for us & we had a very pleasant and delicious meal. Now for my next complaint. The beds are very uncomfortable at this hotel. My husband & I did not sleep well the whole weekend.
