Buon hotel a meno di 100 mt dalla spiaggia attrezzata di Karon. Struttura ancora in buone condizioni dato che da quelle parti il degrado è veloce. Arredamento camere e parti comuni in stile contemporaneo. Stanze ampie, senza umidità, con aircond regolabile e bagno spazioso con doccia e addirittura con ampia vasca (almeno la nostra stanza con vista piscina). […] Varie postazioni PC a disposizione e free Wi-Fi in camera. Personale con Inglese scarso ma sempre disponibile. Presenze internazionali massimamente da Russia ed Est-Europa. Overall was fine. Room is nice as I took pool access. Pool area is great. But the TV satellite signal sucks bad time! Grainy signal or even freezed screen on certain channels. So my advice is don't bother watching TV. Wanna watch TV just go back home and watch. Location of the hotel is good with slightly 10mins walk to Karon beach plus surrounding amenities […] like shops and restaurants. Less crowded comparing to Patong area. Which is good! We enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Palm for five days during Christmas vacation. The hotel was clean and close to the beach and many local shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was above average with a lot of variety, but since the food and seating were outside, there were a lot of flies. The Hotel itself is very nice and seems to have been built in the last few years. However, very little maintenance seems to have been undertaken in that time. Some staff are very friendly however we received some attitude from others on more than one occasion.

The location of The Bliss was superb in my opinion. It was right across from Patong beach, and since every single room has a sea view, you can admire beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your room itself. The hotel is in a much quieter part of Patong, so noise is not so much of a problem. A walk to Bangla Street took about 10-15 minutes, but on the way […] there there are plenty of shops, so you might be a bit sidetracked. Restaurants are plenty all within 1 minute walk of the hotel, and the hotel itself also has booking services for tours and even motorcycle rentals, so you're pretty set there. Our room was clean, although not carpeted. We stayed in the older building, so the decor was a little dated and the toilets weren't as pristine, but no major issues. Bed was very very hard, but no backache when you wake up in the morning. Pillows however were a little flat, so you might be uncomfortable. Me and my husband stayed at Sugar Palm Karon for 1 week in March,and was really satisfied. staff friendly and accomadating- had booked pool view after reading reviews but got upgraded upon arrival to pool access and the privacy factor wasnt an issue in my opinon. nice touch with the free drinks in the mini bar and the apple tv. walls are thin and the pool tiles need a good scrub.

I will start by saying that there is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but it really didn't impress. First the positives: We had a pool access room which was excellent; it was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast buffet has a good range. The negatives? None of the staff spoke more than a few words of english. In their defence, they […] attempted to be helpful but the language barrier created big issues. The wifi internet and also the internet room were poor and weren't working 80% of the time we were there. The hotel is also looking a bit tired; don't get me wrong, it's very clean and sanitary but the maintenance seems to have dropped off a bit; paint flaking off walls, metal fences and gates rusting etc. It is also worth noting that the Karon Beach area is apparently the favoured destination of Russians, who tend to holiday as a family group and keep to themselves. If you are looking for a social atmosphere with other english speakers, its probably best to stay nearer to Patong Beach. During our entire stay in Karon Beach (four days), we did not come across any other english speaking tourists. For what it's worth, based on our stay in Phuket, I would recommend staying in Patong Beach for the duration of your holiday. We spent four days in Karon and three in Patong but spent most of our time in Karon commuting to Patong, which has the majority of the attractions we were interested in. A good location within reach of all the popular areas. Traffic can be a bit of a problem though if you are travelling to/from here at peak times. Just far enough away from the busy Patong area but still had everything you needed within a short distance. We hired a bike for a day(for 250 baht) and found we could get anywhere easily. Didn't see any of the seedy side of Thailand but maybe that's because we weren't looking for it. Approx. 250 yards from the beach, which wasn't crowded. The interior of the hotel is bleak. There are no pictures, paintings, colors, anything. Walking down the main passage it looks like a government building. The room is also lacking in any decor, except color accent pillows. On arrival I complained about the cigarette smell. The opened the window and said there was no other room available, except on […] the first floor. Those rooms had a view of a concrete wall one meter away that separated two hotels. I took the room and got used to the smell. The pool looks good from a distance, but the algae in the tile grout indicates there is a problem with cleanliness. The waterline of the pool looks like it was never scrubbed clean. It seems they are using a salt water system, but it is not very effective. The location at the corner of two main streets and a few hundred meters from the beach is very good. The town itself is depressing looking. It is a typical small Thai town. Nice. The location is great with the beach and the Karon town with a few miniutes walk. However, the housekeeping service is a little bit disappointed. We found that they never clean up your finished dishes of the room service even we had put them in front of our hotel room. We had finally put them to the restaurant ourself.

Hotel for price was ok. Location was great, service from staff good, facilities adequate to enjoy the holiday and a great pool. Great location, can get to the beach in 5 minutes! It's not a big "Hilton" style hotel but your not spending huge amounts of money either! Very safe and great breakfast that held me till dinner. All4One diving in Paytoong was a great dive shop to set up dives..did 3 tank trip to Phi Phi Island (2hr boat ride) with lunch and Brkfst for 140 us dollars! Удачное расположение, близко пляж (5 минут пешком), рядом отличный массажный салон, много ресторанов и кафе, до Патонга езать минут 10-15 на тук-туке. Sammenlignet med andre hoteller i området får du nok mye for pengene her. Jeg bodde noen netter på et hotell i samme prisklasse bare noen hundre meter unna. Det kunne ikke måle seg. Stort og fint rom med utgang rett i bassenget fra balkongen. Bassenget strekker seg i front av 14 rom, så det må være 50 meter langt. Veldig fint å kunne ta på badebuksa […] om morgenen og ta seg en skikkelig svømmetur rett utenfor balkongdøra. Minibaren inneholdt to flasker vann, en cola, en juice og en øl pr dag, alt inkludert i romprisen. Skal du til Karon og ønsker et hotell i denne prisklassen, kan Sugar Palm absolutt anbefales.
