Inviato da Franca F. di "Pavia (i)" il 17 feb 2012Hotel in stile metropolitano, ben tenuto e pulito, situato nel centro città (City Bowl), a due passi dalla stazione ferroviaria, ottimamente servito da bus e da autobus. Nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano numerosi negozi, centri commerciali, bar e ristoranti, nonchè svariati musei e il più antico dei parchi cittadini (Company's Garden), un'isola di verde e di tranquillità. Lo staff dell'albergo è costituito da personale molto gentile e pronto a soddisfare svariate richieste: informazioni, interazione con le compagnie areee per conferma dei voli. La colazione a buffet è ricca, varia e molto curata. Le camere sono strutturate come monolocale e attrezzate frigorifero, microoonde, tostapane e bollitore. Nonostante l'ubicazione centralissima su una strada trafficata, il riposo è garantito grazie ad una efficiente insonorizzazione.

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 16 feb 2012Molto carino,il personale di servizio e' molto cortese e sorridente, la piscina e' purtroppo piccola e quasi sempre sporca perché circondata da alberi. L'unica vera pecca e' la distanza dal centro che costringe a muoversi solo con il taxi e che comunque non permette di rientrare velocemente in hotel per rinfrescarsi prima di cena se non si ha più di un'ora a disposizione.

"Perfectly placed in Camps Bay"
We had a 2 bedroom suite in the Place on the Bay. we found the staff very accommodating, the suite was massive, comfortable and very clean and the view was stunning. "Excellent but....."
Everything very very good but refuse to have a guest put in room 307! Extremely noisy during the night as the water heater/pumps next door. Hotel in great location, can see the beach from most rooms. Staff were warm and friendly. Very helpful. Only things to improve are quality of the showers, free WIFI codes as most other hotels we visited in the area offered complimentary WIFI. It's an OK hotel, byut very impersonal with no common areas and a reception that's tucked away. The studio rooms have no real view and are not good value. Go for a bigger room and get a better view. Overall we were very happy with the hotel. Rooms were good, service friendly, location excellent. However, when it came to checking-out, we were rather disappointed with the hotel's attitude. On the morning of check-out we asked the front desk for a late check-out (our flight was late afternoon) and they were unable to accommodate us, saying that the […] room was needed. We found this to be unusual as there were about 3 or maximum 4 rooms occupied the whole time we were there. We were offered a day room for an additional R250 (just so we could shower before making our way to the airport). A 10am check-out in low season is unreasonable!. "not THAT bad"
the place was generally nice, but for the money I came away hesitant to recommend to others. Service was generally lacking, but the room was nice and had a kitchen, if that's of interest. Bed was great. Location was across the street from the water. Ich kann nur sagen: SCHAADE! Wäre ein super gut gelegenes Hotel. Zimmer waren sehr unpraktisch eingerichtet. Badezimmer war eine Katastrophe! Meeressicht war nur durch die Eingangstüre sichtbar. Von Sauberkeit keine Spur...der Boden war nicht gut gereinigt. Vor dem Hotel war eine Baustelle. Somit mit Lärm verbunden. Fenster waren nicht dicht und zum […] Teil nicht verschliessbar gewesen.
