Sono stata con i miei amici dal 24-04 al 30-04-12. L' albergo è molto carino, pulito e confortevole. La stanza è spaziosa, il bagno è pulito ma sostituirei la vasca con la doccia. La sala da pranzo/colazione è carina e affaccia sul lago. La posizione è ottima per visitare la zona vicino al lago (molto romantica), la CN Tower, il Roger Centre; per visitare parte più centrale (Yonge Street) è preferibile prendere l'autobus o il tram ( che passano ogni 5').

Classico Hotel della catena. Camera grande, pulita, letto immenso. Frigo bar ben fornito. Unica pecca una strada, a poche centinaia di metri, dall'hotel piena di barboni e gente poco raccomandabile. Comunque posizione comoda per girare Toronto a piedi!

Hotel carino, pulito ma un po' distante dal centro quindi e' necessaria la macchina. l' uscita dell'autostrada e' a due passi e se vuoi fare shopping o mangiare(qualsiasi cosa) a poche centinaia di metri c'e' SEARS(centro commerciale). Per chi viaggia con l'auto e' l' ideale .... La zona dove e' situato l'hotel e' molto tranquilla e non trafficata, inoltre l'hotel ha il suo parcheggio .. Per noi e' stato Ottimo

Loved the location. No that pleased with front desk check-in. The clerk was rude and unhelpful. Ordered room service. It was excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.
"Sutton Place Hotel - great service and location"
Located at Bay and Wellesley in downtown Toronto. Great rooms, lovely facilities, modern with classic decor. Very accessible to TTC Subway (underground Metro) and to downtown Toronto generally. Good wi-fi Internet. For hard line Internet use the Business Centre but this is costly, charged in 15 minute doses. Wonderful conference facilties on second […] floor. "Rich decor of the hotel did not match the service"
The staff was polite by always saying hello but was annoying by asking of hours before leaving when we were leaving numerous times to clean! Loud banging noises disturbed our morning rest, the pool was under maintenance which was one of our reasons for our stay, was given porblems with parking attendants due to lack of information from front desk. "Our Place Every Valentines!"
We've been coming to this hotel every valentines ever since we moved back to Canada from Australia. This is the first time we've decided to leave a review (for 2012) and unfortunately it wasn't as amazing an experience we had in 2011. In 2011 we had the executive King suite which had 2 bathrooms, a separate bedroom, two HD TVs, etc. It was amazing, […] and when we came in we were welcomed with chocolate-dipped strawberries and dinner for two at the hotel's restaurant (Accents) was included in our package. I can't say enough how wonderful our 2011 experience was. For 2012 though, we were in a Deluxe King which was still a great room, it was large enough and very comfortable, but we were located right next to the elevators which were surprisingly LOUD. Not too loud that you can't get an amazing night's sleep, but it was still sad we couldn't get a room away from the elevators despite requesting to be. Overall, the beds are amazing and comfortable and dressed with the best pillows I've ever had, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathroom soaps smell nice. Will be returning in 2013! "Great Stay"
We chose this hotel based on location (very close to the ROM and shopping). We only stayed one night but it was very pleasant. We had more then enough privacy and quiet. Breakfast was delivered promptly at the time it was requested to arrive and was hot and well prepared. We also found the staff to be helpful.

The hotel staff are exceptional, and the hotel was conveniently located for all my meetings. Valet Parking was a little overprice, but that's what you get when you are downtow Toronto. Definitely a place I would like to return to and stay an extra day or two for leisure.
We chose this hotel over Xmas because the weather was great allowing us to visit relatives . WHAT THEY DIDNT TELL WAS THAT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO DINNING AT THE HOTEL,NOT EVEN A COFFEE ROOM IN THE MORNING FOR A COFFEE AND MUFFIN

I enjoyed many stays at the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto over a decade ago, but this Christmas, I must say, it was a bit of a sad visit. The bar and restaurants were closed for the holidays, the pool was closed, there was a skeleton staff and no room service. Contrast this with the very busy, fully open, thriving Sutton Place in Vancouver, and one […] wonders what has happened to the Grand Lady of Bay Street. The room was spacious and clean, the room staff were very pleasant, but the front desk seemed like a hang out for the management staff and the janitors. I was given conflicting information about parking, check-out and services, though when I requested a small fridge and a kettle for tea, it was delivered promptly. But there was nowhere to plug them in! I had to shift many things into other outlets. Not a big deal, but annoying. Luckily, Rabba Foods was open 24 hours, so food and beverages were available. Excellent location and value. Within walking distance to shops, museums and galleries. Lots of fine restaurants close by. We were upgraded to a king room however; some furniture was missing (bedside table and lamp). Staff immediately rectified the situation and our stay was very enjoyable.

"Don't expect the pool"
Service at check in was very slow and they couldn't find our hotel.com booking right away. Eventually we got in to find the rooms were clean and very spacious. Don't expect to be able to take the kids to the pool though - it was out of service when we got there and apparently had been for weeks!

The most problems that were associated with this hotel is with their WiFi. They charrged me ,but after complaining they did take it off my bill,

We had hoped to use the pool but it was closed for maintenance. That was one specific reson why we booked this hotel. We usually order room service but that also was not available, although they did offer a sheet with nearby restaurants. The dining room, bar, and room service were closed for the holidays which is most likely how we obtained the discounted rate. The checkin and checkout staff were very courteous and helpful with restaurants, calling to determine availability. Hotel is beautiful and convenient indoor parking underneath.

I had always wanted to stay here, and when we had the chance to during our last visit to Toronto we did. It was clean and wonderful!

"Not 1st time, not last time."
I'm a regular Toronto visitor. Whenever I need to be in midtown (near Bloor St in Yorkville area), Sutton Place is a great place to be. Nice clean rooms and great staff.
The staff was awesome and room was clean. Wouldn't mind staying here again in the future! :)

"Not as good as I had hoped, or previous visits"
Room was okay...a bit tired and nothing spectacular. Seemed to have no climate control and no fan, which I consider to be necessary for comfort and noise cancellation in a hotel setting. Even dropping off the newspapers in the morning was throwing them noisily. Bed was not comfortable. Restaurant is okay and service was pleasant.
This may have been the worst bed I have ever paid to sleep in. Aside from the fact that the mattress sagged in the middle,causing both my husband and I terrific back aches in the Not worth it at ANY price The desk staff at check-in (on the 26th)also need to be reminded that smiles and helpfulness are free.

"Unfortunately Pool Was Closed"
We selected this hotel due to the location and the fact that it had a pool. When we arrived the pool was closed for some reason. Other than that it was a nice place.

I had my copy of the booking which stated I was staying one night. They had me registered for two nights. A small cliitch somewhere along the line. Good that I had my copy of the hotel confirmation.

You will have to pay a certain amount for 24hrs of use, I think nowadays internet should be free, even more when the cost of the room is expensive and also when it's a 4 star hotel
"noise"
I was in room 712 - right across from the elevator. The noise prevented me from having a good night sleep. I even called Maintenance to see if we could get the room fan working to drown out the elevator noise. I would never choose your hotel again if I had to stay close to the elevators. This is unfortunate.

The location of this hotel is key. It is walking distance from major shopping as well as easy transport. My business was with the university of Toronto which was also walking distance away. A fantastic option for total convenience and comfort. The customer service was impeccable. The accents restaurant and bar served incredible food. "Sad Sutton"
This place may be marginally convenient but has seen better days and though some of the staff are helpful and friendly some of the other staff members are less than good representatives of the hotel service industry. The rooms are adequate and clean but the furniture is dated and just plain old. Some room noise particularly from the bathroom will make […] sleep difficult. The street noise is present even on the 12th floor and with the surrounding condos being so close I could have been at the party across the street from me. Not at all a quiet place. The pool was closed and the garage was preparing to close and what are you supposed to do with your car? No alternate arrangements appear to have been made.
