Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

hotel da consigliare - buon rapporto qualità prezzo - essendo in 4 persone abbiamo prenotato due camere possibilmente vicine (e così è stato) . camere abbastanza spaziose con vista sull'empire (senza supplemento)basta richiedere all'arrivo che sia sul lato dell''ingresso hotel. Hotel posizionato in piena midtown. Metro (linee Q, N, R, F) a 30 metri. Colazione inclusa e abbastanza varia. Camera abbastanza spaziosa per standard di NY, con letto comodissimo king size, bagno comodo fornito di asciugacapelli, kit di cortesia, ma con scomodo braccio doccia fisso. C'è anche la macchina per caffé. Riscaldamento rumoroso. Ascensori […] veloci e deposito bagagli gratuito. Wireless gratis. Albergo ubicato in posizione strategica, a 30 m. dalla metro ed a 100 m. da Macy's! Tuttavia la sua posizione è in luogo tranquillo e silenzioso. Personale molto disponibile ed efficiente. Uniche pecche: pulizia della stanza approssimativa, colazione buona purchè si arrivi presto in periodo di punta visto che la sala è piccola, problemi con l'acqua […] calda sempre in orari di punta ed in periodi in cui l'albergo è pieno. L'hotel si trova a un passo dalla metropolitana (30 metri), a pochi isolati dalla pennstation e a neanche 10 minuti a piedi da Time Square e dall'Empire e attaccato a MACY'S. Comodissimo per il collegamento dall'aeroporto di Newark. L'hotel è molto pulito, struttura e camere tenute molto bene (le foto online dell'hotel non rendono molto rispetto a come […] si presenta realmente l'hotel). La colazione è davvero abbondandante. Itravel to NY once a month. My last stay was at the Double Treein 29, a great hotel. I liked this one as much as the Double Tree. a lot of good stuff to say. "Excellent location, breakfast and helpful staff."
The Hampton Inn 35th street was an excellent hotel to stay at. The Breakfast included a wide range too suite everybody needs. "Loved it, great location"
You can't beat the location and the hotel was very nice, clean and up to date decor. Breakfast in the morning was great, no need to spend money and eat out. I'd stay there again. Walking distant within 1mins to Macy's, near to Time square about 5mins walk. Very safe when walk back during late night. Love their nice breakfast. They even have free printing service *thumbs up*, so thoughful! My room is big. Maybe their can offer bottle water for the room, will be excellent! This hotel has a great staff and a terrific location! Less than a block from the 34th Street/Herald Square subway stop and almost directly across the street from Macy's. Within walking distance of Times Square, Bryant Park and the library, right around the corner from the Empire State Building, close to Madison Square Garden. The hotel was spotless […] and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Comfy beds as always at the Hampton Inns. Room was small but well-equipped with a desk and chair. "Not a happy camper at the Hampton Inn"
We were not pleased when we arrived to the Hampton Inn to learn that the rooms we booked we no longer available. We had booked two double rooms and landed with one double room and one room with a king bed. Apparently there were issues with pipes in the rooms we booked. We actually had to rent another room, so that each chaperone could have her own bed. […] I was given a discount after I asked for one, but we still ended up paying an addtion $466 for one room for 2 nights. We should not have had to pay for something that was not our fault. The room was also quite cold. The hotel staff was friendly overall, but I found the Concierge curt and unprofessional when I asked her a simple question. She was much better the next day. We did enjoy the breakfast and hot chocolate. Our school plans to visit NYC next year with a larger group of students, but I doubt that we will stay at the Hampton Inn. "We had a blast"
The room clean but small, which is expected for New York. The staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast is great. It is about 3 blocks from the Empire State and fairly close to Times Square, lots of nearby shops, Macy's Sephora, Zara, Foot Locker. McDonald's around the corner, subway rail at the corner. Only bad thing on 3 day our keys stopped working, […] going down to lobby takes time because we were on the 19th floor and you have to wait for the elevator, we had to go to lobby about 4 times because each time they said it was fixed it wasn't. They finally sent someone up on my request, but it took us about 45 min to get in our room, which was horrible because we were trying to get dressed before our Broadway show. The room was very tight for 4 people. However, I understand this is the case with many hotels in NYC. The TV wasn't working and it took some time to get that resolved. "Good hotel but had a disappointing experience"
It's difficult to rate the hotel because although it was very good in most areas it was marred by something going missing from my room. I'd bought a new lipstick at the airport and had used it twice. I know that I didn't take it out of the room and put it back in my make up bag after use. The whole family searched the room and I emptied everything out […] from cases etc. Since returning home, I've also checked everything again. I mentioned it to housekeeping and at the front desk and they said they had checked but it was nowhere to be seen so they were made aware. I was able to buy another lipstick - that wasn't a problem, it was the uncomfortable and disappointing fact that something had gone missing from my room. The hotel staff was great when I arrived got some bad news that I was going to be moved due to some plumbing issues but the staff was able to get me a taxi and taxi money to go to another hotel which was great. "Good clean hotel, very convienient location"
Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was well kept and clean but the best thing was the location - very convienient for Broadway, Times Square and Empire State Building - we had a great view from our room window!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Excellent location and value"
The rooms were much larger than at other locations we have stayed in NYC. The location was quiet at night and the hotel was in excellent shape. The hotel staff was always helpful and regardless of what time we woke up they would always clean our room (not a given anymore). I would definitely stay there again!!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

I stayed on the fourth floor and heard large containers banging around down on the street (like those large dumpsters) three or four times during the night. I don't know if that was a one-off thing or if it is regular garbage removal or what. It was loud enough that it woke me up each time.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Great hotel in convenient location"
This hotel was perfect. It's a few blocks from some great food in Koreatown (on 32nd St). The hotel was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with real oatmeal. I had some water on my bathroom floor when I got there, and they sent someone to clean it up immediately. Very good service.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Wrong room, damaged room"
I reserved a room with a King bed and arrived late after work to find myself assigned to a room with two doubles. When I called downstairs, I was told simply the hotel was sold out. When I asked why i hadn't been given the right room, the woman said again that the hotel was sold out. I asked what she could do for me and she said she could maybe change […] my room tomorrow if I wanted to pack everything up and try to change mid-day. This was impossible for me since I had a meeting at 8 AM in Flushing. When I told her that and asked what else could be done, she said "nothing", wished me a good night and hung up. Then, my TV didn't work properly (color was misadjusted), my shower curtain was ripped, the hot water was literally scalding so I had to take cold showers, and the coffee maker was broken. "Small but adequate in great location"
We were with four in a room with two double beds. We didn't really have room to put our suitcases anywhere but made do. It was small but ok just for sleeping. The bathroom size was small too but ok. Heating worked well. Safe provided. No microwave or anything but a coffee maker. Breakfast was free and had a good variety of cold and hot foods, breads […] and fruit, hot and cold drinks. If you need an airport shuttle don't use the concierge though. The super shuttle was $19 a person. The conceirge wanted $27 per person or even more expensive if you want a private car. $145. The super shuttle was very reliable and definitely the best option. The room beds were comfortable. The towels weren't the best quality but always clean. Free wi fi is key for business travelrs- which they would frame a channel guide for theTV - obviously not everyone is local- don't have time to channel surf to locate the weather channel or cnn. Also, breakfast is wonderful. Would be nice to have plastic trays to take upstairs so I could work, eat, & go.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Never disappointed"
After arriving on a red eye, I was early for my business meeting. Asked the front desk if I could leave my luggage and sit in the lobby until my meeting. The girl was very helpful and got me my room instead. It was so nice to be able to freshen up a bit and have a cup of coffee. They offered me the breakfast service as well. "Best Affordable Hotel in Midtown!"
This hotel is often quite affordable for Manhattan. We have stayed here many times and it continues to be my first choice in Midtown.
