Bad - Bed & Breakfast and Design Catania

La zona pescheria non è molto tranquilla ma con piccoli accorgimenti ci si muove in sicurezza. L'albergo è molto bello ed è a due minuti a piedi dal Duomo. unica pecca non ha l'ascendore! Nelle vicinanze c'è possibilità di parcheggi a pagamento.

Ottimo bed collocato in posizione strategica pur se il quartiere non è dei migliori. Comodità, confort delle camere e dicrezione caratterizzano questa struttura.

b&b molto carino anche per il suo particolare arredamento, nel cuore dei catania. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e le camere spaziose e pulite. Lo consiglio.

Bad - bed & Breakfast in Catania is more to be considered a hostel. This is a good place to stay for back-packers or the very economic tourist. In the heart of Catania by the fish market and the harbour. Calm hostel with large rooms, but not so much design. Nice staff. Breakfast in a bar at the amazing fish market.

The room was ok. The area is not so nice, but is a great location within the city. The room was clean and the people help us all the time. The breakfast is in a caffee out of the hotel.

Our stay at B.A.D. was delightful-- offering an immersion into the life of Catania, the fish market and fruit and vegetable vendors, with excellent proximity to the piazza, cafes, tourist information and many aspects of the wonderful life of this city. Our only regret was not booking the apartment so that we could cook a little ourselves. Pluses: - Great location (2 mins from Piazza Duomo) - Person in charge was very nice and helpful. - Right for the price. Negatives: - Our room did not have a loo. It was outside the room and only accessible by us with a key, but was not happy with that. Maybe they should specify this in the website. - Our room opened into a nearby building which had […] a dog which barked non-stop and a baby that cried along! - The B&B is not standalone - it occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of a (slightly dodgy) residential building. - There is no laundry facility. - The breakfast is a coupon for a croissant & coffee at a nearby cafe. No one available after check in. Taxi cost twice as much as quoted. Breakfast was in another building but due to the unsafe area in Catania at 5 am we were unable to use our coupons. Too many flights of stairs with no assistance. Courtyard was dark and unsafe. One had to hold the door open to the street to put the keys back in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this B&B. The rates are extremely reasonable and it's very easy to get to from the Airport in Catania. The directions on the website are very clear and specific. The room itself was quirky, clean and comfortable. The owners who greeted us were exceptionally helpful in directing us to all the good things to see and great […] places to eat around the city. In terms of location within the city, it is a few steps away from the pescheria (the famous fish market), but don't worry, there is no smell nearby!!! For sure I can recommend this place. A good location close the Catania 's attractions. A simple breakfast just a sandwich and a coffee in a nearby bar. But that place gives you really the Italian feeling. The room was spacious and light. And the owners are friendly and helpful people.

I would highly recommend this B&B. It is very close to the City Center - just out past the famous fish market. The interior design is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely the place to stay in Catania.

The BAD is excellent! Giulia welcomed us and was very kind, as we were jet lagged and a little disoriented. The room we had looked just like the pictures, and it was a very arty space. The BAD itself is located in a building right near the Piazza, several flights up the stairs (but they'll help you w/ your luggage). Breakfast is at a local cafe nearby, […] where you'll have delicious cappuccino and croissant. The room is very dark (perfect for sleeping in). Empfehlenswert ist das Bed&Breakfast Hotel wegen seiner Lage - nur einige Gehminuten bis zum Fischmarkt und der Altstadt. Wir waren mit zwei älteren Personen unterwegs und deshalb war es mühsam, dass wir durch einen Hintereingang und ohne Lift auf die Zimmer gehen mussten. Særdeles central beliggenhed med gode muligheder for at opleve Catania's gamle bygninger og det lokale marked. Værelset var fint, men lå dog inde i en gammel gård og der skulle tre nøgler til for at komme ind.En portdør smækkede særdeles højt, når nogen skulle ind og ud. Ellers helt fint.

Noen ganger får man det store privilegium å få overnatte på et sted hvor innredningen er noe helt utenom det vanlige, og BAD B&B er definitivt noe utenom det vanlige i så måte. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Ingången var ruffig, men rummet var trivsamt och mycket vackert. Personalen hjälpsam och trevlig. Mycket bra läge. Nära till sevärdheter, bl.a. domen och den häftiga fiskmarknaden.
