friendly service, very handicap accessable.
Holiday Inn in Northeast Pa has the best customer service I've ever encountered. The staff and manager were very pleasant and really made our stay enjoyable. I used the handicapped room and was impressed with the size and comfort. Plenty of room to maneuver my wheelchair around the room and the bathroom was very roomy and wheelchair friendly.

"Good Stop in Erie Area"
Picked this hotel based on location off of I90. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The local restaurant next door was fine, but had a limited menu. We would stop again. The room rate was better than the other chain hotels 15 miles West in Erie.
"Very nice hotel"
This is a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area. Also, the continental breakfast was the best I've ever had at any hotel. The pool area was clean and well lit. My family and I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

"Hotel Stay"
The Hotel is situated off the expressway. There are no conveniences close by. Was disappointed to find that the floors were extremely noisy. You could hear the people walking on the floors above the room. Was woken up early 2 days in a row because of the children above.

this hotel met our needs for the evening/it was clean and had a nice continental bfast in the am;it was not as close to the erie restaurants as we thought;but had a nice bar type restaurant in the parking lot that had good food and excellent service

"Holiday Inn Express-North East - friendly n clean"
We stayed only one night in this motel but it was very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We stayed the two night prior to this at a Holiday Inn Express in Erie but were not thoroughly impressed with the stay there. the rooms were much cleaner and newer at this hotel.

One of the best stays in this category of hotel I have had. No surprises, clean room, very helpful staff and price just as quoted Very good complimentary breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay. Will stay here again. Mattresses could be softer, but that's a personal preference.
Our stay was fine. We were on our bike and it started to rain . So we went next door to eat and it was not to our likeings. If the sun would have beem out im shure we could have found something better to dine on in the area.

Easy access from highway, very welcoming staff, great breakfast, nice pool and exercise room to work off breakfast before hitting the road again!

Overall we were quite satisfied with our stay. Enjoyed our room, bed was about average comfort, nice bathroom, etc. We appreciated the pool and hot tub, though both were a bit on the small side. There were a few places to eat within a couple of miles; however, we were under the impression that the hotel was closer to Erie. It was frustrating to find […] that the hotel was in fact between 12 and 15 miles from Erie. Also, the woman working the front desk during our stay had the personality of a ham sandwich. "Holiday Inn express hotel and suites in Northeast"
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. Very helpful staff, clean rooms and a great location for us. Nice restaurant near and not too far from Lake Erie. We enjoy dining at Freeport and going down to the lake. This time we had a suite and it could not have been any more comfortable. Would definately recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Great little breakfast service. And a pool and hot tub! Absolutely the perfect place for a layover on a 2-day car trip between NY and OH with 3 small children. Any more would be too much, and probably more expensive. Any less and the kids might revolt :)

I was a little leary when I saw this hotel had a rating of 4.2 out of 10, but the location was good for me. I have no idea why it was rated 4.2 out of 10. It's a perfectly nice hotel! Clean, spacious, great personnell and a very good complimentary breatfast. I'd stay there again in a heart beat!

"Great until in the morning"
The hotel is right off the highway which is great, but be aware the gas across the street is very high compared to anywhere else close by. The evening desk employee was very nice and they gave our son a little goodie bag with a bottle of water, chips and candy. Very nice surprise for him after being in the car all day. Room was quite, pool was a nice […] size and not busy at all. Everything was great until the morning when we had to deal with the girl at the front desk. My husband wanted to make a waffle for our son and the waffle maker wasn't working the employee running the breakfast area was too busy texting to do anything to help. Another guest used the waffle maker by making the girl get off her phone to help. Once theirs was finished by husband tried again and once again it didn't work. Breakfast help was no where to be found so he went to the front desk for help. "Miss Friendly" couldn't be bothered to look up from her computer to acknowledge him. She just pointed and said "she's in there". When he returned across the hall there was no one in there to help. Finally the got the waffle with no help from the staff. My husband had me check out after his hard time with the front desk. I stopped by the desk and two phones were ringing and no one was around once again. I waited about 5 mins and the breakfast employee came out and said she would find the front desk employee. She looked in back and then outside and walked around to the motel next door before she found her. The desk employee walked through the front door with her nose in the air and said can I help you. I said "yes, I need to check out". Her reply "did you get a receipt under your door". I said "no I paid through hotels.com". She said "okay, bye" and disappeared through a door. Needless to say the hotel was nice, clean and the night staff was great but I would never stay here again after the way we were treated in the morning. Beware of grouchy staff. Continua a leggere

Pool wa sout of order the frist night, hot tub out of order 3 days, vending machines didn't work
"Terrible customer service"
Pool and spa were both broken at different times during our visit. Front desk could not have cared less about paying customers. Maids badmouthed patrons while cleaning their rooms. Keys just stopped working twice in four days. No apologies throughout the entire visit. Should have stayed at the Super 8 behind it for a third of the price.

We enjoyed our short stay. Staff were very friendly and kids loved the pool. Nice breakfast and eating area. Nearby town was pleasant, but beach not really for swimming. Would stay again.
The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The one thing we didn't like about the hotel itself was the pool and spa area closed too early, also the location was not that convenient. The service was really good and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I just wish they were closer to things!

Went for a shopping weekend in Erie, PA and was extremely happy with this hotel..Room was very clean, large, and quiet. The staff was great and the breakfast was more than we expected..Would definitely stay there again.
The breakfast could have been better we went down at 8am and the food had run our we had to wait around for a while for them to fill it up again

My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay, the breakfast buffet was the best ever for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family without hesitation.
It's located in a clean and quiet environment. The service was good, the housekeepers were amazing. The ladies at the fron desk were really helpful. The hotel is not too far from the millcreek mall.

I keep my expectations low when we book at hotels we have not stayed at previously. When we pulled up I was concerned only because of the hotel next to the Holiday Inn Express, however, I was pleasantly suprised to have this hotel be so nice. It was perfect for our 1 night stay. The hotel room was clean, we received extra pillows and blankets without […] any problem. The treadmill was in perfect working order and the breakfast was more than we could have expected. "bad housekeeping"
room appeared clean but on closer inspection found obvious hairs in tub and carpet under bedskirts had not been vacuumed in a long time..bed linens had lint on them
