Holiday Inn Express & Suites Historic Albuquerque

This hotel was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is a definite plus when traveling with a teenager. The rooms are a good size for family traveling and the breakfast was very good.

The people who worked at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were close to all the attractions that our grandchildren wanted to see and visit. The breakfast was good and plenty of food was available. Great stay, nice place. I would stay there again.

The room and hotel were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. Kudos to the breakfast. It was very good and fresh. We had a great stay.

Excellent management. The front desk people went out of their way to help or assist with directions and anything else you needed.

The breakfasts were excellent ! The soap, You couldn't open it with out a knife. I didn't it either. I didn't like the toilette paper, and I'm not pickey. Everything else was grate ! ! Thank You

Room was comfortable and clean. Only problem -very noisy street, but quieted around 11 pm. Bed was great. Nice location for visiting Pueblo Culture Center. Room got a little smoky from fireplace smoke drifting in through hotel vents.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was close to the area we were interested in visiting.

Good location; right near entrance to major highways & historic area. Nice room. Breakfast was OK, but I never have high expectations. Good value for the money

Accommodated an early check in to meet my family's needs. I was very thankful for the help of the hotel staff

Very clean hotel. Very nice breakfast. Easy on/off the highway. Good price for the value. I will stay in it again if I am in the area.

Every thing great especially traveling with kids they loved the complmentary breakfast, Grandma appreciated the laundry, pool clean but small all staff very helpfull! We will come again! M.S.

Everytime my family and I travel our choice of hotel is always a Holiday Inn Express. We have found that staff is friendly, full breakfast is awsome and rooms are very clean! Holiday Inn & Suites in historic Albuquerque was by no surprise just that....great place to stay!

Great stay for the price. Pool was a bit cloudy and the hot tub water had a greenish color. Otherwise, a great family stay.

This isn't a bad hotel, just seems to be run by a bunch of kids. We had no soap in our room and no shower curtain. I got soap from the front desk and they did bring a shower curtain. There is a kitchen type sink, a refridgerator and a microwave, but no utensils, towels for dishes, paper towels, dish soap, or microwavable dishes. This all made the kitchenette […] thing kind of pointless. They didn't line the trash cans, so I felt funny putting food refuse in them. The suite was very big, but most of the space was empty. I am a very light sleeper, so i try to arrange my rooms in advance away from roads and elevators. When I go to this hotel, all the rooms facing away from the freeway were gone. I had to take what was left. When I go to the room, my AC was not working. This lead the front desk person to move me. He checked on me after the move and ask what I thought […] of the room. I again expressed my concern over the freeway noise. He then asked me if I were a priority member (which I was) and them upgraded me and moved to a quiet room. Awesome!!! This hotel is also the new modern style of Holiday Inns. Nice beds, granite, full breakfast, etc. Very convenient to all parts of the city, but walking distance to very little, except chain retail. I had a great stay and I wonder why the stars are so low. We stayed here a few times this month and the hotel rooms were all "new". Very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast choices. We had a great stay. Easy on and off the 40.

Very easy on and off insterstate 40 even though the map doesn't show these. The map makes it look down the road but it's not. It's right off the 40. Loved the stay, the rooms are all very nice ( we stayed here twice this month). There is a laundry on the 3rd floor near the gym. Only one washer and dryer though. There should be a sign saying you can […] buy soap and dryer sheets at the front desk. We didn't know but luckily got some from grandma. There is a business room with internet which was very helpful very though there is free wifi. The breakfast area is huge and lots of choices. Very good free breakfast. Continua a leggere

For some reason the online ap makes it look down the road from interstate 40 but it's right there. Easy on and off. Plus, there's a Walgreens and a gas station across the street. It's pretty close to Sadie's restaurant, which is famous (long wait)and close to Monroe's which is a gem local joint which is affordable and we didn't have to wait. This was a nice place to stay-the room was clean, pretty quiet, desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfortable. Pretty close to Old Town and other places we wanted to see. We'd stay there again.

We drove 1200 miles in one day and decided to stay here because of the other excellent reviews and the convenience to the freeway. We wanted to be certain that we would get a good night's sleep so we could hit the road again in the morning and this place definitely delivered. The room was very clean, large and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable […] with both soft and firm pillows. There was a nice sitting area with a little kitchenette (sink, micro, fridge, plates, bowls, silverware, etc)...not much but definitely the basics if you needed them. As we were staying there only 1 night it didn't matter to us. The room was very quite and we were able to sleep through until morning without being woken up. Breakfast was delightful. They had a large selection of hot and cold food (scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits, gravy, cinnamon rolls, huge bread selection, cold cereal, oatmeal, etc) and a really cool pancake making machine. My only complaint is the coffee was very watery. I don't know much about the surrounding area as we didn't explore but if you're looking for a nice, clean, comfortable place convenient to the freeway I would recommend this hotel. Excelente service, the breakfast was great! supercomfortable bed. Some annoiance with the air conditioner, but once we went to sleep, no problem.

Very new hotel so everything was in excellent condition. Staff was helpful. If I stay again I will ask for a room away from the road. My room was directly above a very busy intersection and the sound awakened me in the morning.

It was all well done--but a little further from downtown than I thought. Also our refridgerator made a loud ticking sound like a bomb. We had to unplug it so we could sleep.

The staff there was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel was clean, safe and quiet. The free breakfast was also wonderful. It was hot and cold foods, not just continental. I would advise all the stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights (Thurs-Mon) in March 2011 and it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. All staff were friendly and always smiling, even the house keeping and maintenance crew. There was always someone at the front desk when I walked by. Good: - Right next to the freeway, but you can't hear the cars from your room. I was worried […] about that when I made the reservation, but I didn't even notice it. - Wi-fi was super fast no matter where I was. In my room, lounge, breakfast area. I'm glad because I needed it for business while on vacation. - Breakfast was always fresh and fully stocked. Lots to choose from. Although no bananas on the last day. :( - Wal-Greens right across the street. (And Arby's!) - Really close drive to downtown. Less than 10 minutes. Lots of restaurants along the way. - Towels were replaced every day. - The beds had soft and firm pillows. And the bed was really comfortable too. - Good sized mini-fridge. - Microwave. - Flatscreen tv with HDMI input. Great for hooking my laptop up to it so I could watch movies streaming over Netflix or stored on my laptop. Not-so-good: - I wouldn't say this was a bad thing, but every morning they had an automatic pancake maker for breakfast (which was really cool), but I couldn't have any until the last day of my trip because I needed to watch my diet. The last morning I was really looking forward to having some pancakes, but the whole machine was gone! At least my friends had some while it was there. They said it was good. I was just disappointed more than anything because I didn't get to try it. - The pool was out of order my whole stay. I didn't need to use it, or feel the need, but they said it would be up and running over the weekend, but it was still out of order my last night there. - The only real complaint I had about the room was that if I sat at the desk to do some work on my laptop, if I sat with my back up against the back rest, everything was okay. This hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. I love the work out room being open 24/7, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is super nice. I have stayed here before and will continue to make it a point to return on future visits. Thanks

The hotel was very clean ,the room also was very clean,the staff call use to the room after we check in to see if everthing was alright in the room. The breakfast was great,eggs beacon,pancakes,fruit, better thay some fast food..Pool was great the water was nice an warm. G.L.J. Family would stay there again

The room was spacious. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, bagels, cereals, yogurt, juice, etc. Front desk personel were cheerful and helpful.

The hotel was very clean and we immediately got a call once we checked in to see if the room was satisfactory. The staff was great and the area was very quiet.

Do not stay at this hotel. The military puts their people up in this hotel and they like to party throughout the night. I complained every night and on my last night went to the front desk and asked if he would do something about it. He told me to pack up my stuff and they would move me to the fourth floor. This was at 12:05 am after I was woken up […] by the parties and then would be checking out at 5:00 am to catch a flight. DO NOT believe the front desk when they tell you the GM does not like parties at this hotel and makes sure they do not happen. I have emailed the GM and no response. She does not care, she got her money - so she is happy. Unless you sign up for their hotel club, they will put you in a room on the first floor by a noisy gas station that has traffic all night.
