I spent two nights. Excellent service, nice clean large room, limited, but delicious food, very good location. I would go back.

We stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious, the complmentary breakfast way beyond the usual, and the location was perfect right in downtown Aspen.

Affordable hotel, with super convenient location in downtown Aspen. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice, spacious and clean. Highly recommendable for a group of skiers from Norway looking for some sun, fun and debauchery!

This is a very nice hotel located right down town and walking distance to all the shops & restaurants. It is about 6 blocks from the main gondola which is about a 10 minute walk. The hotel offers a free shuttle to pretty much anywhere in aspen and the main bus terminal (free) is only 1 block away. Overall excellent location! The room was very clean […] and offered an outstanding view of Aspen mountain and the pool. The hotel was very new unlike some of the other "dated" hotels in Aspen. The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and willing to cater to any need. We had forgotten our ski boot bag at the airport and did not notice until check-in. The staff indicated no worries we will call and pick it up on the next shuttle. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be staying here again on a return visit to Aspen. Continua a leggere

The Limelight has spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms and is aesthetically very pleasant. It is in the heart of Aspen and walkable (a few blocks) from the gondola and Lift One. First time in Aspen, then it is a little bit hard to compare. Friendly staff, eager to help.

I love staying at the Limelight and have many times before. The front desk is always very helpful. I travel with my dog and they allow pets and love them there. The location is awesome and the rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained

Pros: location in center of town, friendly staff, convenient shuttle service Cons: Mediocre hotel room near the lobby with excessive noise, no true concierge service w/ ability to book dinner reservations

The Limelight Lodge is recommended. The Staff is extremely attentive and the room was comfortable.. From Airport shuttle pick-up to transportation to and from nearby Ski slopes: Snowmass and Buttermilk, the Limelight Lodge was a great experience. Note, Buttermilk provided a better Adult Beginner's experience than Snowmass. If you go in peak season, […] make sure to reserve your hotel transportation as early as possible as peak times, 8 to 9 am to the slopes and 3 to 4 pm return from the slopes fill up quickly. We loved staying at the Limelight. The best thing is the location, being in the center of town and close to the mountain. They also do an awesome breakfast with homemade granola, fruit salad Greek yogurt and deli meats. The lobby has a huge stone fireplace and was decorated for the holidays. The Limelight is a wonderful hotel, with helpful staff, fantastic location, comfortable interiors and a greaat, off-season price. It's ideal for families: kitchenettes in some rooms, large gathering lobby full of seating, games and tables, and lots of space for lots of people hauling skiis and boards. The hotel is less intersting for couples or quiet […] accommodations. There are very few spots for intimate conversation or provacy. This is one of the best, if not THE best location in Aspen. The value is fantastic and the staff is incredible. The hotel is new, quiet, convenient and very warm and cozy. You will not be disappointed.

Loved our stay here. It was so convenient to walk to any restaurant or store in town. Great atmosphere, comfortable bed, and great staff!

My wife had an expectation about Aspen going in, best summarized as a modern hotel with a "clean" look & feel. Given it was low season, we had the chance to scope out a few hotels before picking. We stayed here our first night before heading off on a 4 day/3 night backpacking trip. This was the perfect relaxing start before the big hike. We felt like we were the first people to ever stay in our room, it was that clean and nice. Definite plus having the single cup Keurig machine in the room!

We absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed over Labor Day weekend, which we had done before (although, not at the Limelight) and it's a great weekend to be in Aspen. The hotel was filled with an uplifting energy. Our hotel was conveniently located, it had all the amenities we were looking for, and it had a GREAT continental breakfast. On Sundays they […] even had bagels and lox, which we loved! The ideal place to eat the continental breakfast is out on the patio, overlooking the mountains. Breakfast with a view! The Keurig coffee maker in the room was perfect for good coffee no matter the time of day. This hotel definitely had a younger feel to it; we visited other hotels in the area that I felt had an "older" clientele, but we felt right at home in this hotel, as my friends and I are in our 20's and 30's. It was also very fitness-oriented... many of the other guests we saw at breakfast had already done their morning workout. We had just rolled out of bed, but didn't feel out of place! The transportation was also extremely convenient. If we needed a ride, there were plenty of drivers and Suburbans to take us where we needed to go, up until 11pm. Overall, we loved this hotel! The Limelight Lodge is in an ideal location in the center of Aspen. It is in walking distance of all of the shops, restaurants and galleries in Downtown Aspen. The rooms are clean but very sparse. A little more interesting detail would go a long way in their guestrooms. One thing that should be changed ... get rid of the tacky plastic cups in the bathroom. […] For this type of property, there should be a real glass to use. The Limelight offers breakfast as part of the mandatory "resort fee". Breakfast was OK but many of the items had run out by the time we decided to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. Beautiful, swanky, convenient, great breakfast, comfy bed, nice pool and hot tubs, without Aspen high ticket price.

Great room. Very comfortable and I love the decor. Great location. Walking distance from everything. Very helpful and friendly staff.

This was our first time at the Limelight. Everybody and everything was great. We loved the live music on the weekend and complimentary bicycles for a nice ride. Beautiful pool and breakfast that was part of our room perk was especially nice with lots of choices!

I traveled to Aspen for the music festival over a long weekend. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of this property and the attentiveness of the staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stocked. **Be advised that there are additional fees (beyond the rates are charged on hotels.com) upon check out. This was fine and I presume that other hotels […] have similar charges but these additional charges meant that the hotel was not quite the bargain that I anticipated. As someone who frequently stays in hotel chains for business travel, my visit to Limelight Lodge was a welcome change. Lovely room, quite comfortable for two parents and one child for the night. Beautiful, high quality construction throughout. Well-informed and helpful staff. 7 am buffet breakfast convenient if you want to get an early start for a hike. […] And quiet, lovely pool area if you prefer to relax at the base of one of Colorado's most beautiful ski mountains. Great location, friendly staff, and their rates are always more reasonable then the surrounding hotels that aren't even as comfortable.

The Limelight was very much a quality hotel and I would go back without hestitation. However, parking is a nightmare unless you want to pay the $15 a day parking fee in the hotel garage - which I'd recommend. The bed and room were super and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was amazing with great fresh fruit and other healthy items. Overall, […] it was pricey but - hey - it's Aspen! Great place to stay. Our room faced the slopes so it was a great view. The shops and businesses surrounding the hotel were very unique and interesting. Disappointed to find on check in that the only hotel parking was in the hotel garage for $15 per day. the only other option was on street parking, if it could be found. In defense of the hotel is the fact that parking in Aspen is a problem. Other than parking, the Limelight is a great place to stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall I would rate my stay as a 5. The hotel was very clean and in an exccellent location. However, I would not book with hotels.com again. When I arrived to check in I was advised of hidden charges. A 6% resort fee that hotels.com did not mention during booking.

This location is a few blocks off Main Street so that made it very nice and more of a quiet location. Everything was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. All staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was awesome!

We were pleasantly surprised how nice the hotel was, however we picked a bad weekend as the hotel was full of LaCross players and was hectic and noisy and quite caotic at breakfast.

Have never had a more pleasurable experience anywhere I've stayed. The staff at the Limelight Lodge went above and beyond anyway possible to accommodate the 20+ wedding party that stayed there. It was located near everything we could want/need.. including shopping, eating, drinking, gas station and skiing. The Limelight Lodge has recently been refurbished and we would definitely recommend it. Our room was very comfortable and everything was in pristine condition. The HD TV was great and the I-Pod/MP3 compatible radio alarm was a real bonus. The breakfast buffet was terrific and I'd particularly recommend the muesli and fresh fruit. There was a ski valet service & heated lockers for boots and the ski bus stop to Snowmass or the Highlands was only 50m. away. For Aspen you could walk the couple of blocks or in fact the hotel would give you a lift there. It is only a couple of blocks from the town centre and everything you could want is in the hotel or close at hand. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back to the Limelight. Great hotel and staff! More of a hip adult hotel. Not as much for kids (no game room or pool with slide) but that makes it great for business and romantic getaway!!! Bed was a bit soft for me - but maybe you like that.
