Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 9 gen 2013Motel a 300 mt dal Rainbow Bridge per cui per chi arriva dagli Usa a piedi come noi è perfetto. Si trova a 800 mt dalle Cascate. La camera era molto grande con 2 letti matrimoniali , pulita e con wifi gratuito. C'è un parcheggio a pagamento e la piscina che non abbiamo usato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

La struttura è a ridosso della strada che costeggia il fiume ma è silenziosa e confortevole. Dispone di tutti i servizi utili, dispenser ghiaccio, parcheggio libero e wifi free.

I checked in with my boyfriend a friend and her boyfriend we are 25 years old and hardly party people before we could even get our bags out of the car we were hounded by the manager for having parties and being loud, we told the women we weren't there for those reason she continued to freak out and threaten us she then followed us to the room and yelled […] at us some more it got to the point where we left and found a new hotel. This is a old Inn, but it is very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast but Tim Hortons is just down the road and they offer complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. The water was hot for a shower in the morning and the rooms have been recently painted and are well maintained. The ceilings are thin so book a top floor room if possible. They […] use keys instead of cards for the doors which we liked. The T.V.s are old and there was a old fridge in our room which we unplugged for the night. A bonus is the parking is free where other hotels in Niagara charge up to $20.00 a night. There is also an outdoor pool which I was told is very popular in the summer. This hotel was great. Room was very clean. No smoke smell in evidence almost anywhere in the hotel. Excellent location and great value. The hotel is well placed within easy walking distance of the falls, shopping and just plain walking. The front desk person was super friendly and helpful and offered suggestions of things to do and coupons for discounts. "Good Value in a Good Location"
This hotel is a good choice for either singles, a couple, and even families. It is really close walking distance to both the fallsview side and the clifton hill activity. The service was fast and the staff were really nice & friendly. This hotle actually has keys instead of those swipe cards that always get deactivated. We noticed a musty smell when […] we first entered our room and strangely there was a crib inside! The rooms are very out dated and the beds weren't like the hilton, but it was just fine. I think the bathrooms could use a remodeling, but otherwise the bathroom was very clean. The shower had a good pressure and the water heated quickly. The soap provided was very drying to my skin, so I would bring my own from home next time. The beds were clean with nice fresh white sheets - no stains and no bugs. The parking is free and the internet at the Ramada across the street is available at no cost(no password)!!! I really liked our room on the second floor by the back door. There is no elevator, but we didn't mind taking the stairs! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone else who is looking to getaway on a budget. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Although there was a problem with our AC due to a power outage on the street, they fixed everything as soon as possible. The rooms were very clean. "It was a beautiful stay"
Even though we stayed for only one night, it was a great stay. We met Angelo at the reception desk. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He was one of the main reasons we got a positive impression of the hotel. "Absolutely HORRIFIC"
After reading the reviews of this hotel, I decided it would be fine for a quick stop over solution. We weren't looking for luxury. Just a place to rest our heads after a super late flight in before we continued on our journey in the morning. This hotel was disgusting. The room smelled so badly of smoke we were all gagging (my daughter threw up). My […] 11 year old was afraid to walk into the bathroom without shoes on (he is NOT one of those picky children either). If you don't mind a roach motel, stay here. But if I could do it again, I'd pay the extra $20 and stay anywhere else. HORRIFIC. On a positive note, the front desk lady was very nice. "Exactly what I expected"
For the price of this hotel you cannot get any better. I did not nor expect the spas, gyms, etc. of the pricier hotels. I wanted something clean, close and cheap and that is exactly what I got. "Weekend Getaway"
The service at the Diplomat is very friendly. They were very accomodating, letting us use their pool outside the regular posted hours and offering us free late checkout if we wanted it.
