L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Il mio soggiorno è stato ideale per la vacanza che mi aspettavo. Non cercavo un 4 stelle che mi facesse spendere troppo, volevo un posto dove dormire vicino al centro e comodo per gli spostamenti. L'hotel è vecchio e ci sarebbero tante cose da sistemare ma io e mio marito siamo stati benissimo, abbiamo dormito senza problemi, e appena usciti dall'hotel sei in pieno centro, a due passi dal port autority per ogni tipo di spostamento. Times Square appena girato l'angolo, posizione strategica per tutto. Da consigliare e sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

A Long Island City, in zona Long Island City - Queens, Verve Hotel, an Ascend Collection hotel si trova a breve distanza dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Museum of Moving Image, Sede centrale delle Nazioni Unite e P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center. Ho scelto questo hotel perchè volevo spendere non una esagerazione, ma allo stesso tempo essere vicino al centro di NYC, infatti Manhattan è a soli due fermate di metro (subway), il quartiere è il qeens, noto quartiere dormitorio di new york city. Consiglio questo hotel anche se la zona può sembrare pericolosa, ma avendoci vissuto per molti mesi non […] c'è nulla da temere. un hotel meraviglioso non centrlissimo ma in sole due lunghe fermate di metro si arriva sulla quinta...lo consiglio a tutti si spende un po ma è veramente una garanzia!

I am officially done with Manhattan. This is the best of all worlds. Walking distance to 3 MTR stations. Excellent internet connectivity. None of the anxiety, grief or angst of Manhattan hotels. The mattress was a dream. Best sleep I have had in the NYC area.

"great find"
Excellent hotel for convenience to NYC. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We always are the oldest people in the hotel. No one working there is over the age of 25 and they are all doing a great job!!

Had a great stay while in New York for my husband's birthday. Took the M60 and subway from Laguardia, then only a 2 block walk from the subway to the hotel. The room wasn't ready when we got there (10AM) but they kept our bags for us while we went into the city for the day. The room was great, nice size & half the price of Manhattan. "Clean, convenient Queens hotel"
The hotel was clean, well lit, the breakfast was good, and the location was within a few blocks of the subway line. The neighborhood is a little gritty, but we never felt unsafe in it. It was a good overall experience.
"The Hotel Verve in NYC"
we had a wonderful stay at the Verve Hotel. It is a lovely hotel (great rooms) with very friendly staff. Keep in mind this hotel is located in Long Island City (Astoria) which is about a 25 min train ride to Manhattan. Astoria itself is very cute with many amazing options for eating. We would certainly go to this hotel again.

"Adequate. I'd choose another hotel for next time."
I so wanted to like this hotel, but must say that it was a bit seedy. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stay in Manhattan and train in. There were stains on the furniture in the sitting area of my room and the lobby was dreary. Service and cleanliness were fine.

The staff was absolutely amazing and very hard working.The best staff I've ever had to deal with.Room is nice and perfectly adequate.Free guest laundry beats other hotels that charge for the guest laundry room. No restaurant in the hotel and immediate area so that's something to look out for. 5-10 minute walk to the queensboro station which is not bad […] at all. They serve a good breakfast which is great. "The best hotel for the money."
Four of us enjoyed our stay at Verve a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. It even had a very nice design. Despite the fact that the hotel is located not in the best part of NY, the place really stands out. It has a small gym, internet access and breakfast area that we never intended to use until we actually came and checked it out. The staff was […] friendly and very helpful. We are from Philly and had to use a lot of their help, which they provided happily. For a NYC stay, this is a very good value, given the hotel's proximity to Manhattan. It is also well appointed.

Das Hotel ist für diesen Preis sehr gut. Wir können es voll weiter empfehlen. Die Zimmer waren stets sauber. Die Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Immer kostenloser Kaffee. Computer mit Internet stehen zur Verfügung, auch Internetzugang für eigenen Computer. Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut. Die Gegend rund um das Hotel ist nichts […] besonderes, aber die U-Bahn-Anbindung klasse. Innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man in Manhattan oder in den anderen Stadtteilen von NYC. Inzwischen kein Geheimtipp mehr: TOM hat für jede Frage ein Antwort und für jedes Problem eine Lösung. Wenn ich wieder einmal nach NY fliege, werde ich in dieses Hotel gehen. "Gutes Hotel, aber Verkehrslärm"
Wir waren im EG direkt neben der Rezeption untergebracht. Verkehrslärm auf der Straße die ganze Nacht. Ich denke, das ist auch in den höheren Stockwerken deutlich zu hören. Die Westseite sollte einen Tick ruhiger sein. Zimmer ansonsten gut. Ordentliche Bildschirme, LCD-TV, Kühlschrank, ausreichend Steckdosen, sehr gutes WLAN (VoIP-Qualität hervorragend). Frühstück […] war ausreichend, der Raum groß genug, wenn auch voll. "Hot Items" vorhanden, ansonsten Standard. Zimmer überraschend groß.
