Inviato da Velia F. di "Catania" il 16 lug 2011Hotel molto elegante e originale (il personale veste il caratteristico kilt scozzese a quadri verdi e azzurri), le camere familiari sono abbastanza comode, i bagni sono grandi, pulitissimi e ben accessoriati. Efficientissimo il servizio di valet parking. Ottima la posizione a pochi passi dall'animatissimo lungomare. Per gli amanti del gioco è l'ideale in quanto un tunnel lo collega direttamente al casino con un percorso di pochi minuti. Wi-fi gratuita nella hall dell'hotel. Nella stessa struttura sono presenti numerosi negozi e locali. Halifax è una città diversa dalle altre città canadesi, ha un fascino particolare!

Inviato da Fabrizio M di "Firenze" il 1 mag 2011l'hotel è lontano dal centro, intorno non c'è proprio niente...questa è la seconda volta che mi fermo a dormire, e l'esperienza è stata meno positiva. Avevamo una stanza a piano terra, abbiamo trovato degli insetti e la stanza era molto buia, male iluminata. E per la stessa cifra questa volta non avevamo la colazione compresa, purtroppo.. comunque il linea generale lo consiglierei ugualmente, per il rapporto qualità prezzo può andare...l'importante è avere la macchina, altrimenti si è fuori dal mondo!

"Another Pleasant Stay!"
This is the fifth time in the last 3 years that my wife and I have stayed at the Quality Inn near the Stanfield Halifax International Airport. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced when you consider they will park your car for up to two weeks with just the one nights stay. The cleanliness of the room was a concern. The floor had not been vacuumed, and the sink taps had spots on them. The Quality Inn is a standard -no frills type hotel but the rooms are comfortable and it was quiet during my stay. We were due to arrive at Halifax airport at 1045pm but due to delay did not land till after 11pm. with Hire car we tried to find the hotel but due to inadequate signage missed the turn off to hotel twice before finally arriving after midnight to find that there were no food sevices at all and as my wife is diabetic this was more than inconvenient. The restaurant was surprisingly good. There was a larger than expected crowd so the staff was short handed but they handled it very well. The food was very good, a nice surprise. This Quality Inn wasn't so high quality! The rooms need to be updated. They seemed dingy - stains on the carpets and ceiling. The bed wasn't comfortable and the comforter looked like it had seen better days. For an overnight stay it's fine. They have a Bistro so you are able to get food,which is good because you aren't close to anything. The outdoor pool was ice cold and the indoor pool was closed for repairs. They have a shuttle service that's on demand so we didn't have to call a taxi at 4am. I was not impressed with the state of the room stayed in. It was in poor repair: paint coming off the walls, bathroom had a very strong foul odor, the shower looked like it needed to be replaced and there were water stains on the ceiling, If i stayed again I would be very hesitant to pay the large amount amount of money that it cost.
