Vivamente consigliato per chi vuol spendere poco ed ottenere un buon servizio. Posizione favorevole dal punto di vista turistico, stazione metro più vicina a circa 800 m, ben servita da bus.

Personale eccellente e di grande aiuto in caso di bisogno. Hotel molto comodo, perchè ben servito dai mezzi e in una zona tranquilla. Unica pecca: è un pò fuori, per cui in caso di serata in centro potrebbe essere un pò lunga la via per il ritorno. L'hotel è situato in zona 4, si raggiunge con la linea centrale della metro, quindi è una comodità arrivare in centro senza dover mai cambiare linea. La zona circostante non è il massimo, il quartiere sembra poco sicuro a primo impatto, poi ci si abitua e, evitando camminate in tarda serata, ci si convince che il posto non è così male. Appena arrivati […] abbiamo trovato in reception un uomo per niente gentile che c'ha liquidato in due minuti chiedendoci il deposito per la chiave (10£ fino a quel giorno, dal giorno successivo un cartello gigante diceva "key deposit 20£") senza darci una ricevuta o qualcosa di simile. La stanza era normale, certo moquette molto polverosa, ma vale i pochi soldi che si pagano. Pulizie ogni giorno, colazione di tutti i tipi con posate e piatti un po' sporchi. Durante la settimana l'uomo alla reception è diventato molto più amichevole, raggiungendo l'apice nel momento in cui abbiamo esteso il soggiorno di altre due notti. Al momento del ritorno è arrivata la parte negativa dell'esperienza: il deposito per le chiavi non mi è stato restituito, perchè secondo i loro dati, mi era già stato restituito quando ho pagato per le due ulteriori notti. Mi dicono di richiamare il giorno successivo per sistemare questo inconveniente, richiamo, trovo una persona che parla italiano, mi spiega che verificherà con il padrone e mi richiamerà.....ovviamente più sentita! In più la telefonata mi è costata 3,50 € e non mi sembrava il caso di continuare a spendere soldi in chiamate per riavere 10£. Dimenticavo di aggiungere: ho sentito molte persone nell'hotel che si lamentavano per le condizioni della stanza, altre che avevano prenotato una "suite" e sono stati sistemati in camera normale, ecc. Probabilmente sono stato "fortunato"! Morale della recensione: l'hotel è un tipico hotel di Londra che può andare benissimo per soggiorni di pochi giorni; la zona non è il massimo ma ci si può convivere non uscendo in tarda serata. purtroppo l'hotel è abbastanza decentrato rispetto ai luoghi che ci eravamo proposti di visitare..........ma il rapporto tra costo del pernottamento/colazione e qualità del servizio è stato più che soddisfacente.

It was a cheap place to stay and in great condition as it was newly renovated and breakfast was great as usual

I don't want to be too disparaging about the hotel as it is at the budget end and presented very good value for money. It is somewhat tired and has the shabby but not neccesarily the chic. For someone looking for a very basic place to stay and who is not too fussy it is fine. Overall the Park Hotel is really good value for money. The staff are very attentive and friendly, the room we had was very clean and comfortable; apart from the draughty windows which as it was very cold outside we were not very warm inside. We did report the radiator not being very hot,and maintenance checked it, but as it was an old system it was […] working at its best. A clean and comfortable room, if on the small side. It was ideal for my purposes as a base for a night out in town with work colleagues. Breakfast was very good. Overall excellent value.

House keeping came at the wrong times if you know what I mean and they wouldn't just come once it would be 3-4 times, if you didn't open the door within 5 seconds they would just let themselves in see that your there and go again. Clean, breakfast good, tube within walking distanceand straight into London and most importantly good value for money.

Be aware you need to bring photo I.D or staff get very upset with you - also they try to get a further £20 out of you (above what is paid via the site) for a room key deposit.

Had 24 hour reception, which was good in case of any issues we had. The room was basic and a little untidy, but bed was very comfortable. Bit of mould in the shower. Breakfast was good - service very slick considering the number of people to feed. Only three choices of cereal and turkey rashes instead of bacon though. Our night stay here was lovely, I read the other reviews and panicked a little, but our room was very clean and comfortable would definitely recommend to others. The only bad side to this was that somebody set their fire alarm off at 6 in the morning. haha!!! Would definitely stay here again.

Let me start out by qualifying what I will say by acknowledging that I'm used to the USA hotel experience. That said, the free fully-cooked breakfast was outstanding and it's great to have a hotel provide free wireless. However, my single room (that in the UK means one single bed) resembled a prison cell. It was around the same size and had one small […] window high (about 8') in a wall. There were no curtains so the early British morning summer sun (i.e. around 4 AM) cam streaming in. The closet was old and weak and had no hangers. There was an old desk on which sat a small TV (another nice addition) but no remote; there were no drawers for clothes. The en suite bathroom needed some cleanliness and had a very small sink; the hot water for the shower did not work. It was very nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee supplies that were replenished each morning. The hotel is about an hour from Central London via Tube so it's not well located, but great if you don't mind the commute or need to be in NE London. There were refurbishements of rooms occurring while I stayed so maybe these minor issues will be resolved. While I cannot recommend this hotel to others there would be a possibility of me staying there again since with the services provided for the price you really cannot go wrong. If you're looking for a basic, low cost hotel with additional services, don't want to be in a shared-room hostel, and don't mind the commute then I say try out this place. Continua a leggere

Good quiet spot, near park and transport and good solid food and generally well priced. Room a bit crowded, would be better without single bed (in addittion to double) and bed could do with replacement (springs partially collapsed)

Being that the price was much cheaper than most hotels/hostels in the area, we expected that it wouldn't be great. Since we were only there to sleep, we didn't require much though. The room was tiny (expected) but the mattresses were very worn and the springs kept us awake most of the night. Besides making turns or slight movements extremely noisy, […] the springs were actually jabbing us in our backs or sides (whichever were facing the mattress). It wasn't the cleanliest place I've ever stayed, but I'd already expected it to be dirty. This didn't take me by surprise. The surrounding neighborhood did, though. The hotel is located in a very seedy area where one does not feel safe parking their car. As the car lot had only a few spaces to park, it was full by the time we got in that evening. A fact that I wish I'd known before driving up that tiny entrance ramp (about two inches of free space on either side of the car between the walls and my car- an average-to-small-sized car) and having to reverse back down it as there was no room to turn around. All in all, I'd rate the place a 3. The staff weren't exactly friendly, but they were helpful enough, so no digs on them. If you clumsy or have a hard time on stairs, this is not the place for you. My mother is older and tripped on the stairs each time she went up. About the third step to the top, the stair is just a slightly different size than the rest, but all of the stairs are quite steep, so be careful on them. In regards to the cleanliness of the hotel, it was mainly the bathroom which I found dirty. The shower was a bit moldy and the sink very small and could have been cleaned better if given only another minute or two with the scrub brush. The one window in our room was very airy and placed between the two beds. No additional blankets or pillows were offered, so bring your own blanket if staying during a cold month. The first weird thing I met when I arrived is that they asked me for £20 cash as a deposite for the keys. This was not mentioned anywhere before in their website and it is the first hotel in the world asks for this. The second thing is, I booked single room, and my girlfriend came to visit me in the daytime (not to sleep over there). They said: "We […] do not accept guests" .. I said who said that, they said this the policy of our hotel. And they did not mention this before I book. this is really very strange and I did not like the way the staff talk to me. Construction noise started at 9.30 am. Checking inn at front desk took 30 minutes. Seems like people working there running another business on front desk cust service sucks. Would not recommend till they finish construction or get a new crew . I asked for towel and shampoo I was simply denied by cleaning lady.

The hotel was located in Ilford, zone 4. It was very easy to get to - it is on the Central Line which has frequent trains and from there is a ten minute walk - if you don't feel up to that, there is a bus stop literally right in front of it! The hotel was in a good condition. To be fair building works were being done when we were there but everything else was fine. It was a bit unexpected as our room appeared to be in a random converted house outside! But it was fine. The room is a good size and was comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped and we did not get a tub like the advert stated, but the shower was fine although quite temperamental. The staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast was great quality and had a good variety. The service was very good and fast and the food was delicious. In addition there are a couple of vending machines that were actually very reasonably priced. For the price we paid this hotel was a real bargain. Rooms are very basic but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good, though the room was overcrowded. Valentines Park across the road is very nice and there is a good pub and several restaurants ten mins walk away in Ilford. Tube into central London 15 mins […] walk from hotel. There is a good sized hotel car park behind the hotel buildings which seemed pretty secure and parking is free of charge - a rarity in London. For the price, it's almost impossible to complain about this hotel. Clean, reasonable size and en-suite rooms. Not to far off the beaten track. Free WiFi in all rooms was a particularly pleasant suprise. a few things to note (true as of the time of my stay) : It might be useful to know before arrival, this hotel requires Photo ID on check in. They […] don't let you take your keys off site, however the night porter seemed rather unaware of this rule when we got back in. The breakfast was fine for the £0 it cost me. However, unless you happen to have a particular liking for turkey rashers and sausages, over cooked egg and rubbery mushrooms then chances are you won't be massively thrilled by it. in closing, you can't expect 5* for this money, what you get generally leaves you more than satisfied on that basis. Finding the hotel was easy because they have plenty of signs. There is also free parking which you can never find. The staff was informative and helpful. My room was better than I expected. The room was tastefully decorated, bed comfortable and a spotless bathroom. Breaskfast was great. They bring your food to your table and the food was wonderful. […] It's a hot breakfast with eggs, sasuage and the usual stuff and cereal was also available. For the price it was great. Wir haben(zwei Erwachsene und ein elfjähriges Kind) sechsmal in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Unser Ziel war es, die Stadt und Umgebung anzuschauen. Dafür war das Hotel OK. Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber, die Betten waren in Ordnung ,nur das Bad - hauptsächlich die Dusche- war reparaturbedürftig. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig mit vernünftiger Auswahl.Verbindung […] Richtung Zentrum mirt Bus und Underground problemlos, auch in der Nacht. (ca 40 Minuten). Hotellet var greit. Første natten fikk vi et litte bøttekott mot gata, mye trafikkstøy. Men vi fikk lett bytte rom og fikk i hus C mot gården. Et bra rom, passe stort. Varm frokost hver morgen, vi savnet litt ost å yoghurt. Betjeningen grei. Rent og ryddig. Buss rett utenfor hotellet men vi gikk til tuben, 20 min å gå. Terravision buss fra Stansted […] stoppet på Redbridge, 30 min å gå. Da slapp innom city og veldig rimelig. 11 pund t/r. I Ilford var det mange rimelige spisesteder. En visite qq jours sur Londres, bien situé à 10 min du metro et à une 20aine de min du centre. Chambre confortable et propre (à part une odeur de cigarette). Petit dej typiquement british et accueil sympathique. Hotel que je recommande avec un bon rapport qualité prix

Við þurftum að fara til London með þrjá syni okkar og það er yfirleitt ekki mögulegt nema þá að leigja tvö, rándýr herbergi undir okkur. Park Hotel bauð upp á fjölskylduherbergi sem er með þremur tvíbreiðum rúmum í nokkuð stóru herbergi. Þrátt fyrir nokkuð gamalt teppi á herberginu var það snyrtilegt og haganlega fyrir komið og allar innréttingar nýlegar. […] Baðherbergið er nýuppgert með stórri sturtu. Herbergið var því hið þægilegasta. Annað á hótelinu er ekki eins snyrtilegt og augsýnilega nokkuð langt síðan það var endurnýjað í "sameigninni" en allt var þó snyrtilegt og hentaði okkur afar vel. um 10 mínútna gangur er að Gants Hill neðanjarðarlestarstöðinni og þaðan er síðan um 30 mínútna lestarferð niður í miðborg London. Að öllu ofangreindu er því hægt að segja að Þó að auðvelt sé að finna "fínni" hótel með nýrri innréttingum í sameiginlegu plássunum er ljóst að ekki er hægt að finna gistingu á viðlíka verði og þarna. Og takist manni að borða vel í enska morgunmatnum er ljóst að ekki þarf meira eldsneyti fyrr en nokkru síðar þann daginn. Síðan er stórkostlegur kostur við þetta hótel að þarna er ókeypis bílastæði. Það er gott í landi þar sem kostar hvítuna úr augunum á manni að leggja bíl. Myndi hiklaust fara hingað aftur. Continua a leggere

Aamupala hintaan nähden ok. Palvelu ok. Huone oli likainen ja erittäin ahdas. Vessa haisi homeelle ja viemärin haju kantautui vessasta koko huoneeseen. Suihkusta tuli vettä vain nimeksi ja veden lämpötila vaihteli kylmästä tulikuumaan. Huoneessa olleet kahvikupit eivät olleet pestyjä tullessamme eikä niitä pesty hotellissa olomme aikanakaan.

Hyggeligt lille hotel, med hjemmelig hygge og kanon godt morgenmad

Vi fik helt nye værelser, som var en meget positiv oplevelse. Værelserne var pæne og rene, og daglig rengøring var i orden. Toiletter og bad meget fine. Resten af hotellet virkede meget slidt og sammenlappet. Personalet var voldsomt amatøragtigt. Morgenmaden stort set brugbar men ikke mere. Meget skrabet. Dejlig beliggenhed lige over for park med […] stor legeplads. Ikke langt til undergrundsbanen. Alt ialt positivt, da prisen var meget lav, og når alt kommer til stykket fik vi meget for pengene. Vi havde to overnatninger på dette Hotel. Beliggenheden i forhold til London centrum var fin, men hotellet var i virkelig dårlig stand. Værelset lugtede fælt og sengene var elendige. I badeværelset var der hul i gulvet og brusenichen var virkelig lille med ingen udluftning og sorte rande i kanten. nous avons été dirigé vers un autre hotel à 5 mn de celui-ci. d'un point de vue général cela a été très bien.

Bon rapport qualité prix,vu le prix de l'hotellerie en angleterre!!!!Nous étions un couple et 3 enfants,et c'est un des rares hotels à prix correct qui nous accèptaient dans la même chambre. à 3/4 d'heure du centre en metro,transport juste en bas de l'hotel,très bien desservi. .

Het hotel lijkt een verblijfplaats van [Poolse, Bulgaarse?] werknemers in de bouw die 7 dagen/week werken. Er is weinig / geen service. Wij hadden [helaas] geboekt voor 9 nachten, maar hadden geen kleerkast en nauwelijks zitplaats op de kamer. Het personeel was ook ongevoelig voor onze argumenten. Het interesseerde hun eigenlijk helemaal niets. Het […] ontbijt was karig. Wel Engels, maar van slechte kwaliteit, de toast was al taai op het moment dat die op je bord lag. Iets anders was er ook niet te krijgen. Een zacht ei was standaard hard, gekookt of gepocheerd, dat maakte niets uit. Helaas had ik deze boeking vooruit betaald. Het buur-hotel had betere service voor dezelfde prijs, maar was [logisch] vol geboekt, anders waren we zeker verhuisd. Al met al: zeker geen aanrader voor een langer verblijf in de Britse hoofdstad!
