Il soggiorno è stato piacevole; il personale cortese. La camera era spaziosa ma il bagno un po' piccolo; tutto accetabile nel complesso; buona anche l'idea del bollitore elettrico in camera per un tè prima di dormire o per riscaldarsi visto che fuori abbiamo offerto molto il vento freddo di questo febbraio.

L'Hotel è in fase di ristrutturazione ma ciò non crea disagio. La posizione è ottima sia per spostamenti via mare che via terra, vicino alle fermate di tutti i bus anche quelli turistici. Hotel abbastanza pulito, cambio asciugamani e riassetto stanza giornaliero. Noi (coppia) ci siamo trovati benissimo, personale cortese, parlano pochissimo italiano, […] più che altro inglese. Consiglio stanze seaview e non al primo piano se possibile, sono tutte enormi, il bagno piccolino ma funzionale, no bidet. La colazione non è stupefacente ma è buona e abbastanza variegata. Per dare un giudizio complessivo dobbiamo tenere conto ovviamente del prezzo pagato per alloggiarvi: l'offerta era molto allettante. La nostra soddisfazione circa l'hotel è sufficiente; questo risultato è frutto di due elementi negativi: la pulizia e il comfort della camera. LA CAMERA Camera molto spaziosa, televisore sempre gratuito con tutti i programmi […] italiani e bagno abbastanza confortevole. L'arredamento è vecchio, ma questo sarebbe nulla se almeno fosse garantita la pulizia. In particolare abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche, o meglio lavate male, in quanto abbiamo riscontrato macchie e qualche capello. Il bagno sostanzialmente era abbastanza pulito. SERVIZI Negativi. Il clima non era dei migliori e il riscaldamento non è mai entrato in funzione, anzi funzionava ma il flusso d'aria era freddo. La temperatura in camera era di circa 14/15 gradi, mai di più. Per ben 5 volte abbiamo fatto presente il problema, ma non è mai stato risolto (abbiamo alloggiato in hotel per 4 giorni). L'acqua calda funzionava ad intermittenza, è preferibile fare la doccia la mattina in quanto la sera la temperatura era veramente bassa. PASTI. Colazione continentale soddisfacente. Cena sufficiente. POSIZIONE La posizione della struttura è strategica, ottima sia per la vicinanza alla Valletta (dove si trova molta storia, ma poca vita e negozi), sia perchè questo hotel è situato nel centro di Sliema ricca di negozi molto moderni, pub e ristoranti. I had a lovely stay at the Sliema Marina hotel. The room was very clean and the view from the balcony was great. The only down point was that there was roadworks just outside the hotel which woke us early in the morning. I would definitely recommend staying in a seaview room at this hotel.

I rented a single room for a month, due to work. Everything was shaking and everyone was knocking about for en entire month. The hotel was a little cute one, white, clean, comfy and polite employees - unfortunatly Malta is very noisy in general but it might be a question of adapting to it. This is a 3-star hotel, so don't go there expecting to find 5-star amenities. There are some things that people would consider negatives, but the hotel gets most of the important things right. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was kept clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a sensible size with a decent shower, and the […] breakfast was a good mix of (mostly) cold and a few warm (not really hot) foods. On the downside, the room was a bit small with no desk (in case you want to do a bit of work), the only toiletries provided were two bars of soap (bring your own shampoo, shower gel, etc.), and there was no fridge (a bit of a nuisance for anyone who likes to use the local supermarkets). Anyone who wants to have a lie in should bring earplugs or avoid this hotel: there is a church almost next door and the clock begins chiming at 7 a.m. - you could see that as a inconvenience, or as a great alarm clock waking you up for another day of activities. As other people have mentioned, the TV has only 2 channels in English (BBC World News and Fox Movies with Arabic subtitles) - most of the channels are the local ones from Malta and Sicily. That's more of an annoyance than a problem unless you find that you need to spend a lot of time in your room due to bad weather, illness, etc. Continua a leggere

A very good place to stay if travelling in winter as i did. I booked a seaview room for 5 nights which worked out to be around £16 a night. On arrival I was given a room with an internal view, but reception accepted their mistake and gave me the correct room i booked. I guess if not booking direct from the hotel is always best to email them to confirm […] your booking if something specific like a seaview room. The view is lovely, you overlook Sliema bay with views across to Valletta. You also get the same view from the breakfast room. Breakfast is very basic but still nice: sausages, boiled eggs, baked beans, bacon, cereal, fruit salad and yogurt, bread, cheese and rolls. Also tea, coffee, and juice (which wasnt that nice). For only a few quid extra a night it's worth it. They only give you soap in the bathroom, so bring your own shampoo and toiletries. My one major gripe was that due to a faulty lock on my balcony door i got locked out on the balcony at night! Fortunately my neighbours were on their balcony and called reception...on opening the door for me i was told to 'be more careful' and no apology was given...very much a cheek considering the door should not have locked on me!! so word of caution, if you get a balcony room dont close the door in case. Location is great, bus stops are very close and although you often need to go to Valletta first (20 mins) as most buses go from there, the buses are very frequent. We travelled from Gozo where we live o stay for the 2nd time at this hotel. The lady on reception was as before extremely pleasant, courteous and polite. Whilst we were at hotel a power cut hit the island which being on the 6th floor was a bit of a dilema. The power eventually returned just as I walked up 6 flights of stairs.

Perfectly adequate hotel on the seafront in Sliema. Breakfast ok. Bus stop and ferries right across the road. Plenty of retaurants nearby for dinner.

After the first night when we did not get the room we booked and a complaint to manager things went well. We were given a balcony room with views over the harbour. Room did not have a frig or tea making facilities but we coped. A three star hotel but Malta made up for it. Good location WE stayed eight nights

Good staff. The air conditioning was less then useless - not very clever when the temperature is more than 22C even at night. The water was barely above normal temperature most of the time. It is obvious that their water heating system is inadequate. The very surly lady at Reception questioned us if we really wanted the standard room as booked. The 'Standard' double room (#510) offered on arrival was dreadful: Very small with no natural light as the only window faced into a brick enclosure (with all the drainpipes) at the rear of the building. After re-visiting Reception we were allocated a better […] (3 bed) room (#201) which did at least have daylight, although no view except for the overlooking terraces of buildings to the rear. This room was clean and adequate, although less than our expectation for the grade of hotel. A considerable accumulation of cigarette ends and other debris was visible on a flat roof below the window of room 201. Overall, the hotel lacked basic features such as a lounge and other public areas. The pre-booked 'Buffet Breakfast' was adequate, although lacking in variety. Staff at Reception, apart from the above noted lady, were pleasant and obliging. No information in the room about TV channels (only one of three was in English), local attractions or how to operate the safe. Several minor problems with the bathroom were resolved by staff. After a bad first night in room 1022 due to generator noise and no facility to open a window we were moved to a very pleasant room at the back of the hotel. We tried to book a hotel pick up and asked for confirmation several times yet they never got back to us. We were left stranded upon arrival and had to get a taxi from the airport. This was actually cheaper, 20 euros in comparison to the 22 quoted to us and very easy. Room was ok if a little basic, it lacked drawer space and a hair drier,nice little balcony though. Very central position close to boats and buses. Would use again. Staff very helpful when airport transfer transport was an hour late.

This hotel looked so nice on the website and in pictures. Upon arrival we had a nice experience at the front desk where a nice gentleman chatted to us and gave us the keys. When we got to our room both me and my wife couldn't believe what we were seeing! We had a room that obviously had not been cleaned for a long time; we had four single beds???! (a […] double room had been booked); a view of a brick wall; no air conditioning (Maltese heat is exreme); and a dirty, filthy bathroom. We found possessions from the previous occupants. The fridge was padlocked unless you paid a fee. A remote control for tv had to be paid for. The toilet didn't flush properly. The room was so hot it was unbearable. I woke with several huge flea bites. I could go on but I hope you get the idea. We had to make plans to book elsewhere. We also ate at the resturant one night and it was just horrific. This was the smallest room I have ever seen. Even small for Europe. The view out the window was of 4 walls. The room was hot and there was no A/C. The bed was beyond worn out and so were the pillows. If you need a room real bad, then this is a real bad room.

The main problem with the hotel was that the aircondition in the room didn't work as it should. I pointed this out already the first day byt nothing happend. To prove my point I bought a thermometer. It said 29 degrees C at 11 a clock in the evening. I complained several times and the maintainance people was there and so was the manager. They all pointed […] out that this was normal in the summer. The manager was really ignorant. We stayed a week and the temperature in the room was between 27 and 30 degrees all the time. I enjoyed my stay at the Marina. It was surprisingly quiet to be located on such a busy street. The hotel looks out over the Strand & Marsamxett Harbour. The beauty of it is that the hotel is right at the Sliema Terminus, so you're able to get just about anywhere easily from the hotel by bus, or you can use the Marsamxett Ferry Service to get quickly […] to Valletta. The Sea View room I had was very spacious and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. Overall, it was an excellent place to sleep (I was not in the room except at night). You're also a few blocks from a market and several excellent restaurants. The only complaint I had the entire time is that the toilet did not seem to flush easily. I informed the desk clerk about it, but nothing was fixed, so I took matters into my own hands and opened the tank, finding a half liter bottle of water there to, I assume, save water. Considering what we paid for our rooms, this hotel gave us somewhere reasonable to stay in a very handy location. The people running the hotel were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Value-for-money-wise, I can't think of any useful criticism to make of the Marina Hotel.

Meget uorganiseret. Da vi ankommer er vores værelser med havudsigt slet ikke tilgængelige og vi kan først få dem dagen efter. Morgenmaden er middelmådig og der forefindes ingen højstol til vores to-årige datter. De efterfølgende dage forløber roligt uden større problemer. Personalet er venlige men det virker stadig meget uorganiseret og andre gæster […] har heller ikke fået de rigtige værelser fra starten. Vi får en barneseng uden ekstra beregning og vi får lov at udskyde tjek-ud tidspunktet til kl 17 mod at vi dog flytter vores ting ind på et lille frimærke af et værelse ( 3 voksne og et barn) meen uden beregning ;-) ikke et sted jeg vil besøge igen. We spent 5 days in mid april in a upgraded De luxe room on 7 th floor with a splendid view overlooking the small boat harbour and that was just great. The terass was sunny from 11 am until sunset. Location in Sliema can´t be better on this south-western part of the city. The staff was very polite and helpful. There are only to things we want the staff […] to change or improve, please. That is, wet cleaning of the floor in the room every day and please prolonge the breakfast from 9.30 am until 10.3o ( on vacation one will prefer to stay in bed a little longer ) We will most certainly return to Marina Hotel! Bodde på hotellet i en uke og var godt fornøyd ut i fra forventningene. Jeg fikk sjøutsikt som jeg hadde bestilt på forhånd og selv om rommet var i første etasje og vendte mot gata, så var jeg ikke plaget av støy selv om jeg sov med verandadøra på gløtt. Aircondition lagde mer støy. Rommet var romslig og rent. Frokosten var bra med bacon, pølser, bønner, […] kokt egg, ost, skinke og syltetøy pluss div. frokostblandinger, frukt og kaker. Beliggenheten var perfekt, midt i Sliema sentrum med gode handlemuligheter samt bussforbindelser til hele Malta (inkl. direkte buss til flyplassen, nr X2) rett utenfor. Gangavstand (20 minutter) til St. Julian. Masse restauranter i nabolaget. Det eneste jeg har å pirke på er at det tok to dager å få åpnet romsafen, denne gikk i lås da den ikke var utstyrt med bruksanvisning. Benytter gjerne dette hotellet dersom jeg drar tilbake. Wir hatten im Sliema Marina Hotel ein Superior Zimmer für 3 Nächte gebucht (Zimmer 507). Das Zimmer und der dazu gehörige Balkon waren sehr geräumig mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht von Sliema und Valetta. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und seine Ausstattung waren sehr gut (selbst ein Kaffee-/Teezubereiter war vorhanden und täglich aufgefüllt). […] Der einzige Minuspunkt: Das Frühstück - aber es gibt unzählige Frühstücksmöglichkeiten in der nahen Umgebung. Gutes Hotel für Kurzurlaub in zentraler Lage. Persönlich empfehlten würden wir nur die Superior Zimmer mit Bayblick. Weil ein Zimmer in der gebuchten und bezahlten Kastegorie am Anreisetag nicht zur Verfügung bot man uns schließlich das nicht mitgebuchte Frühstück für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes kostenlos an. Auch wenn das Ambiente des Frühstücks nicht […] besonders war, war es - auch zum angebotenen Preis von 4,50 € - in Ordnung. Für einen Badeurlaub, den wir auf Malta sowieso nicht machen würden, ist das Hotel wenig geeignet. Gleiches gilt für Leute, die einen Schlafplatz nach der durchfeierten Nacht suchen. Ideale locatie! Kamers aan de kleine kant en douche zag er niet heel fris uit, maar er werd dagelijks goed schoongemaakt. Bed had wat zachter gekund, maar prima voor een paar nachten. Geen ontbijt bij hotel geboekt, was veel in de nabije omgeving waar je relatief goedkoop lekker kunt ontbijten.

ホテルは建物が古いですが、リノベーションされていて綺麗にしてあります。レセプションの方もとても対応がよいです。エレベーターが少し小さいですが、２基あります。 ８Fのレストランからの眺めは最高です。スリーマ湾が一望でき、バレッタの町並みも見渡せます。夕日がとても綺麗にパノラマで見ることができます。レストランの上へは屋上へ出れます。 スリーマの街の真ん中でロケーションも便利です。
