Durante la nostra permanenza in America abbiamo soggiornato in 5 diversi "INNS" e il Microtel di York, che fra l'altro aveva il prezzo più favorevole, è stato il più confortevole come qualità del servizio, bellezza e ampiezza della camera, buffet della colazione. Ve lo posso di certo raccomandare!

Desk clerk was very helpful in recommending places to go and where to eat since this stay was early in the summer season and not all eateries were open.

First of all, the location is great. You've got the beaches on one side of you and the outlets on the other. My biggest problem is they start cleaning the rooms at roughly 10am and if you miss them, they're not coming back. My girl and I had a couple of late starts, not leaving the room until 11am only to come back at 10pm to find the room exactly […] as we left it. Unmade bed, wet towels. It wasn't until the final day when we left to catch the 11 am checkout did I even catch a glimpse of the cleaning staff, so they do exist. As long as you're out of your room by 9am, you probably won't have a problem. Also, it our room, the carpets and sheets had some staining, but I guess you get what you pay for. Continua a leggere

Clean hotel. Simple breakfast. Well insulated for outside noise however poorly insulated between the rooms. We could easily hear in detail people in adjoining rooms on both sides. The room was unexpectantly small as compared to other hotels.

We enjoyed our time at the Microtel Inn in York. We have stayed there before and believe the quality and service is very good for the price. We would have liked to be closer to the beach but all things considered everything was in close enough driving distance that we did all the things we wanted to. Clean and pretty comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything was nice and clean. Kids loved the heated pool and fresh baked cookies we came home to every night.

My son is a skateboarder, and occasionally we come to Rye Airfield for a nice getaway! This I think is the best hotel we've been in yet! Looks recently renovated, and the beds are so comfy! And not to mention outlet shopping pretty much down the street! And great food! Must check out 3 Bouys Seafood for some homemade food!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, everyone was great. The only complaint I would have was the ceiling vent in the bathroom was filthy and should have been cleaned. An easily overlooked item.

The room was clean and decor was very pleasant. The only downside was the "thin walls", which other reviewers have mentioned - the reason for the "3" rating on comfort. I could hear the neighbors' every step! Me and my other half have stayed at this hotel more then once and I enjoy everything about it. The hot tub and pool are my favorite. The rooms are clean and well kept, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and u don't have to go far for a delishes cooked meal with a restorant right out front of the hotel.

Carpet & paint worn , low quality housekeeping. Pool full of screaming kids with nobody watching. Poor selection for breakfast. Good location 2 minutes off highway. It snowed when we were there and walkways were not cleaned at 11:00 am when we left.

The price was good, but the room was really tiny. It was close to all the outlet shopping centers and easy to find.

It was very good, a few things could be improved, on the first night we did notice a few long black hairs on the spare pillow and on the toilet seat. Also the bathroom sink was not cleaned after our first night.

The Microtel Inn and suites was a fantastic choice for our family for 1 night. The room was in great conditions with all amenities included. The hotel also has free breakfast and heated pool. Very good experience and highly recommended!

The only down fall for me was that I was not aware that the pool was open to the public. It was loaded with birthday parties and very busy.

Newly renovated. Has small pool and decent Breakfast with cereal and waffles etc. good staff. The walls are thin so it can be a bit loud if you have loud neighbors. It's a great value given the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in room 216. Matt did an excellent job cleaning the room. We greatly appreciate the time and effort he took in making the room so nice for us. Also, a special thanks to Nick at the front desk. He was very pleasant to talk with and very helpful. He directed us to a nice restaurant for dinner to celebrate our 40th […] wedding anniversary. Room was OK for price. Room heater was very annoying. Cycled on and off extrtemely often, no mater how much we reduced the temperature setting. Blower still cycled on after turning the unit to off. Air blew right on the bed. Verry annoying. Breakfast service was not very sanitary.

I felt it was good value for the money. Very basic room, but it was all we needed - a place to crash after shopping all day. This hotel is close to the Kittery Outlet Stores.

Positives: the continental breakfast was incredible! They had a wide variety of food that met the needs of all types of guests. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Negatives: The carpet in the room was dirty and stained... upkeep was not the best. There was absolutely NO sound proofing in this hotel. We could hear the TV and conversation in the […] room next to us like we were sitting in the same room. PLUS, we had a room by the elevators which I would not recommend. I stayed at the Microtel in Dover last year and this year I was in charge on booking rooms for our girls shopping trip. Since the Microtel in Dover was so clean and nice I decided to book the hotel in York. Well what a disappointment. I read the reviews for this hotel here on Expedia. I should have taken the warnings of "stay at your own risk" more seriously.. The pictures look alright but don't be fooled, this hotel is filthy. I stayed 3 nights, house keeping didn't come the first to days but she did show up the day we were checking out :-/ The staff is rude, even if you are polite […] to them they seem to be in a zombie state of no emotion. No smiles, no good morning, no hello how was your stay, nothing. I realize the price may be attractive to you right now, as it was for me when I booked the room. Let me save you the disappointment, it's not even worth it to save money on this place. You want to enjoy your time in shopping heaven, not be stuck with hotel services from hell. Your staff was quite helpful. I made the reservation through Expedia and when I had to cancel one night due to the impending storm I called them and was given the wrong information on how to cancel the room. We enjoyed our stay here in York, Maine. The hotel is right in the middle of Ogunquit and Kittery where we visited and shopped and walked the Marginal Way. Breakfast was fine and we'd stay here again.

We found the pillows and sheets covered in hair from previous guests. Easy to see wrinkles on used sheets and pillows. Did former guests stay a week? One thing is primary for any hotel establishment...clean beds! This was unacceptable and inexcusable. I will never return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone! We were in town for a wedding. Lucky were the ones who stayed elsewhere.The walls were painted a bright green and yellow - not decorative, just plain tacky. The carpeting looked old and was dirty and had stains.There were stains on the upholstery of the sleep sofa. No tissues in the […] bathroom. When I arrived, I checked to make sure that there were linens for the sleep sofa since I knew we would be returning very late that evening.There was 1 pillowcase in a drawer,2 pillows, and 1 blanket at the top of the closet which I had to get a chair to reach. The "blanket" was old and very well worn..something you might keep in your car. I met the "head of housekeeping" and explained to her that there were no linens for the sofa bed..only 1 pillowcase. She insisted that there was - that I just didn't look in the right places. I reminded her that I did indeed check thoroughly. Still, she did not believe me and followed me back up to my room to prove me wrong. Once she discovered that there weren't linens for the bed she said "yup only 1 pillowcase".....no apology. I then showed her the "blanket" and commented that it looked rather "ratty" and her reply was - "well, that's all we have." I did not find bedbugs but you can be sure I looked for them! She went to get linens and I began unpacking some items - when she came back she did not even knock or announce her presence .... she just unlocked my room door and came in! Continua a leggere

We loved the condition of this hotel and the quality of the room. Rooms are painted pleasing, current colors, not the usual drab off-white. Modern, up-to-date decor. Nice, large window gives plenty of daylight and looks out over lawn with a picnic table. Location is quiet with double-pane windows.
