.......come tante cose belle belle è eccezionale arrivare all'Hilton lungo Montgomert St......la vsta del Transamerica è imponente da delicata.......a primo impatto l'hotel situato di fronte all'imponente edificio è solo un blocco di cemento con blocchi rettangolari di vetro.......ma poi già dalla Lobby cambia......gli ascensori sono subito lì a vista […] e le camere che danno verso Coit Tower offrono la vista migliore sulla città!!! se viaggiate per piacere si fà presto ad arrivare nei punti di maggiore interesse come Pier39 e Lombard St....la colazione a buffet è ottima e abbondante ma sinceramente preferisco fare solo un isolato e di fianco al Transamerica trovarmi da Starbucks!!!.......città favolosa San Francisco!!! Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and kind staff. Front desk was a little disorganized. Forgot about my request for a room with 2 beds which I called to confirm twice ahead of time. Gave me keys that didn't work twice. Finally, upgraded me to a nicer room, which had a note to different guests and complimentary fruit tray. Tried to call the front desk […] to confirm I was in the right room, but after ringing for several minutes, the person who picked up hung up on me, probably by accident. So I ate the fruit, ignored the note and called it a day. That said, the staff was very friendly, if a little disorganized. My room was clean and better than I paid for. Continua a leggere

Beautiful hotel! Nicest hotel staff I have ever stayed with. Lounge & valet were pricey. Nice sized room, big bathroom.. both very clean. Neighborhood nice but not near any tourist locations. A few restaurants & bars near. Very nice!

I had a corner room on the 21st floor (2119). Two entire walls connsists of floor to ceiling windows. There are bay views, amazing to look out over both in the morning and at night. The bed is extremely comfortable and the linens, pillows etc are all luxurious. I started each day with a swim and some time in the hot tub and was about the only person […] using these facilities each time (I stayed on a M - F). I also enjoyed the gym and the terraces on that same floor (6). There were a few hiccups re: service. I had my shoes polished (complementary) and requested they be back by 8am;. I had to call when they didn't arrive and received them at 8:30a only after prodding. Also, my iron had dings in the plate that snagged my shirt (not irreparably). I had to ask for that to be switched out twice before it was replaced nearly two days after my initial request. These were small matters and service needs to be tightened up in this regard but the quality of my stay was still first rate. I highly recommend this hotel! Continua a leggere

Beautiful hotel! Large, clean rooms & bathrooms. Friendliest staff I have ever stayed with. Nice bar but a bit pricey. Good neighborhood with a few restaurants & bars close but not very convenient location to most popular sights. Parking was pricey. Overall great experience, would stay here again.

The only bad thing was the toilet had an 8 inch crack in the top of the tank and I can't understand how housekeeping hasn't reported the problem with room 1502.

Very nice hotel with good service and room. There are others that might be better but probably more expensive.

From the genuinely pleasant staff at the front desk to the little details that make a hotel room feel luxurious, the Intercontinental makes sure that every aspect of your stay is impeccable. The room at the Intercontinental was large and comfortable if a bit corporate and soulless. The bed gets top marks for being one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in for years.

If you want to impress the one you're with or just want to see the latest and greatest in SF I definitely recommend staying here. Staff was amazing, the hotel is amazing, and the view from high floors is better than u can hope. I'll be staying there again hopefully very soon.

I enjoyed the Intercontinental. The hotel was clean, perfect for business travelers, and was tastefully decorated. I had an executive king--it was a wonderful corner room with a great view. My only complaint is that the restaurant was very expensive for breakfast; i ended up just going to Starbuck's down the street because I didn't want a whole large […] meal. The hotel staff were very nice and helped me out when I needed to print a confirmation letter for a tour. I was surprised at how easy-going the staff was and they seemed happy at their jobs. The hotel is clean, restaurant and bar area are nice. The room is nice, however the double bed felt like a twin size bed. That may be because i always sleep in […] a king. Anyway, my only complaint is the mini-fridge. It has sensors in it and threatens that if you move anything in it you will be charged. I brought snacks and drinks and there was only a 5 inch square box of space for me to put my stuff. If I wanted the mini-fridge emptied they were going to charge $30. I might as well consume it all! I think that for such a nice hotel, it is poor practice to make your guests feel untrusted by placing sensors in the mini fridge. I would rather have the option upon booking of whether or not I want the fridge stocked. I hope they do away with it because all I can imagine is them having to refund people for accidentally nudging or moving a candy bar. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to Union Square and transit made it a plus. I will definitely stay here again, but I guess I'll bring a cooler next time! Continua a leggere

I loved loved staying at the hotel all staff are super super helpful. my daughter got sick from the flight and was vomiting a whole day the staff super understanding they had a doctor who helped so much just can't say enough I have been to many five star hotels this one tope them all in every which way from the comfort and luxury of the beddings to […] the excellent food at the hotels restaurant I think its luce. Clean comfortable and accommodating !!

There are better hotels in San Francisco. We booked a Club Room, the Club Lounge was a joke, over the 4 days we were there, it was over full, never a seat, one day we were given vouchers to go and eat breakfast in the main hotel restaurant, then they tried to charge us extra for this. Other occassions all the food had run out and we were told it was […] because they were busy and there wasn't going to be any more, we did raise this with a manager of the hotel who didn't seem bothered and didn't do anything about it. None of the staff were very friendly. The receptionist who checked us out tried to charge us for extras like internet access which was included in our Club room tariff and was very miserable about it when we said it was included and it shouldn't be charged. Its not the best location, bit a run down area of the city, you would be much better staying in the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental or now with this bad experience try another hotel chain. The Hilton or the Parc55 would be better located or around Union Square. Continua a leggere

I arrive at the Hotel in bad shape. It was 6PM New Years Day, & I had just been working at an event that started before 5:00 AM in the vicinity. As I patiently waited for the Front Desk Staff to complete what they were working with, a rude couple cut in front of me, I had decided to just let it go. In my condition at the time I'm sure I didn't look […] like the most important of customers, and why bother with jerks? To my surprise the atttendant had noticed and shooed away the impatient couple and took care of me first, and appologizing for the couple's actions. First Class service all the way. Sure the extra's like parking and room service are insanely priced. $8 for a water!!! If you can live without ordering room service and parking, you will find that this is one of the best places to stay in SF. The location was perfect for my needs and should serve most Tourists and Business People with it's location. The bed was fantastic, and my room had an excellent view. I loved my stay here, and I commend the staff for making sure that I had an excellent stay, despite my surely haggard appearance at checkin. Oh and unlike most places, checkout was at 12PM. I booked this hotel on hotels,com and did remember I had stayed in it before, the service is impeccable, the rooms are very modern and lots of room, it was a great hotel for the money!

I didnt find anything wrong execpt when we call to see if we had to pay for the 18 they said no because we were arriving after midnight, but once we got thier we had to pay for the 18 plus parking, which isnt cheap, 60 for hotel valet, and 34 at public or 20 for 10 hours... Beautiful hotel, just no parking that is free!

Nice sz rooms w/ views of bay & shops. Service ws good. This is a business hotel so it's not cozy but nevertheless good value. We used the pool & jacuzzi. Didn't order rm svc. Well maintained.

Great location, great price, clean, modern, friendly staff. Would be happy to stay there again.

the hotel is beautiful and the service and restaurant are on par with anything in a town of great restaurants. The exercise room was as good as any and modern. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to see San Francisco + perhaps the most outstanding service of any hotel in the city! Enjoy it all - lovely spa, outstanding concierge lounge, spectacular views, proximity to Union Square, MOMA, Moscone Center and all of the hip and cool restaurants & bars that are uniquely San Francisco! We love it!

The folks at the Intercontinental were very helpful and friendly. The roomes were very modern and well furnished. The views of the city from the upper floors are awesome. This is a very nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone .
