Venezia è una città difficile per qualsiasi turista, ma auesto Hotel offre un servizio vero, non dispendioso e impeccabile. Il personale è gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile. ASSOLUTAMENTE SODDISFATTO. Indiscutibile il rapporto qualità prezzo. Non si puo' pretendere di meglio.

Il tempo è stato talmente piacevole che è trascorso tutto velocemente .... in questa città senza tempo

L'unica soddisfazione dell'Hotel da parte mia e di mia moglie, e' stata la collocazione dell'Hotel;. altrimenti avremmo fatto meglio a scegliere altro Hotel piu' dignitoso e piu' confacente alle nostre esigenze, perche' l'Hotel non presentava una buona situazione alloggiativa.

water transportation to and from both cruise port and airport is just outside the door...great location before or after a cruise!

Our room in the main hotel was lovely. The bathroom was large and very clean and modern. The water bus stops right outside the hotel and the hotel itself is right next to St Marks square, which is right where you want to be. The people at the desk were very helpful and friendly. Price was good and I would stay there again.

dont book a room here! you can hear everything from all surrounding rooms. tv..talking...walking above...showering....etc. it was 945p. and we couldnt sleep ...we had to leave and the owner offered us another room that was secluded but wanted to charge us 50 euro more. we told him no! we shouldnt have to pay more in order to get sleep so we got our […] refund and went elsewhere to find a place to stay. The staff were universally friendly and efficient, especially Marco (front desk). The room was spotless. The location is superb -- very close to the Vaporetto stop for St Marks (San Marco). Breakfast was excellent, served cheerfully. Highly recommended.

Expensive for a three star hotel, but great location almost makes up for this. Breakfast okay. Wifi free but not working in room.

The annex room is located at the back door of the main hotel so that there is no view at all and the window faces the next building closely. The room is like an apartment room, nothing like a hotel room. Therefore, it is unlikely to have a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is not good enough.

This is a great little hotel in San Marco, close to all the main tourist attractions. Our Deluxe Lagoon View Room was very comfortable for three, and the outlook across the canal, with ferries and street stalls in the foreground is like a little slice of Venice. The smallest shoe box I ever spent a night on. The Hotel is nothing like the pictures. I was given a room on the 2nd floor, 38 narrow stairs to navigate, no place to keep anything, had to put most of my stuff on the floor.

The Hotel Paganelli is located just a couple of minutes walk from St. Mark's square and is right on the waterfront. Having never been to Venice before and arriving at night, the location was perfect as our transfer stopped at the quayside right in front of the hotel. The room was delightful. We chose a superior room with an internal view into the courtyard. Although small, the room was very comfortable. The bed was excellent and the linen and towels good quality. The bathroom was modern, clean and the shower was superb. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good selection of food and drink. We found the staff very friendly and helpful and because the hotel is small we always felt the service was very personal. This hotel is in a great location and was easy to find. Conveniently there are water bus stops all along the front that take you almost any where you would like to go. The room was a good size and nice and quite. The room was also very clean and tidy a must when i rate a hotel. Room decor was nice gold and cream. The hotel staff on the reception were […] very nice and helpful to explain how to get anywhere and they also let us stay a little bit later after check out as we weren't flying out till late. If there was anything i could have a gripe about was breakfast... the breakfast lady was a bit grumpy and almost felt like she just couldnt be bothered with you, never smiled and felt a bit like she wanted us to hurry up as we had a small child that made a little bit of noise. Also the breakfast selection was a bit on the small side but still ok as it was free and any breakfast is better then trying to find some. If this is your first time to venice i would also recommend you try and find somewhere that offers a dinner service as finding good food at a reasonable price is hard, unless you can eat pizza for days. For the price you pay for a hotel in Venice, you simply can't ask for more. Free wifi and breakfast, but rooms are very small. With a water bus stop just outside the hotel, getting to the hotel is very easy, but might take up to 30 mins to reach from the railway station. For those rushing for trains, this is something to take note of.

Right on Grand Canal with a very pretty room, and good buffet breakfast.

I stayed in the annex which, unless you need to have a view of St. Mark's Basin out your window, was perfectly fine. The room was small and a bit dated, but nonetheless clean and comfortable enough. if you just need a safe, convenient and clean place to sleep without a lot of bells and whistles, then this is a good choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paganelli. Lovely,large room with a great bathroom with a bath. Customer service at reception was always helpful especially the gentleman (sorry didn't catch his name) who worked on the mornings we were there. Great location on the Riva and good cappucinos at breakfast.

The hotel has an excellent location close to St. Marks Square. The room and the bathroom were very small. We had a queen and a single bed in the room. There was a small closet, a small refrigerator and a safe. We were in a room facing the little court yard and we had a small balcony off of our room. There is a patio on top of the building that is accessible to all guests and is a great place for morning photos. The sun is there in the afternoon. The included breakfast is in another location about 50 yards away and was very clean and very good. The normal Continental fare.. bread, salami, fruit, coffee. The breakfast starts at 7:30 to 10:30. I feel the best attribute of this hotel is the location. It is about 30 yards from the water bus stop.. San Zaccara San Marcos and you can catch the boat to take you to the airport at the same stop. Much better than carrying luggage over 200 bridges. I strongly recommend the airport boat. The staff were great and very helpful and the hotel was very clean.. It could use a little cleaning on the hallway carpets, but the color was light. I stayed at the place next door last year bigger room and almost twice the price but I like this place better. In a superb area in Venice! The hotel is conveniently located to Piazza San Marco...where it's all at. Also located nearby is the vaporetto. As a solo traveler, the room was small but clean, comfortable. The internet worked, as did the air. One by reception near the water with the stunning views. These are for the suites. And, the other location is located in the adjacent alley, where everyone has breakfast. I spent my last night in Venice at this hotel. It was a last minute booking, but it turned out to be my favorite hotel during my trip to Italy. Great combination of value and location. I stayed in one on the annex standard rooms. The included breakfast was underwhelming at best, but it was enough to get me going. Excellent location, our room was in the Annex which probably meant it was quieter than the main hotel. There was no lift which made it fun with luggage. Lovely room with opening windows and shutters. Very impressed with breakfast.

Perhaps I have more sentimental reasons than practical ones for my next stay at the Hotel Paganelli. The room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. The location close to P.San Marco was ideal. Look forward to staying there next year! Mille grazie!

Location is excellent -- a few steps from Piazza San Marco, and just at a boat stop. BUT -- important to know that you need to manage your own luggage from boat to hotel. Room is small and sparsely furnished, but courtyard and roof terrace make up for it. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

The best part of the Hotel Paganelli is it's location right across from the Zaccaria vaporetto stop and 3 minutes walk from the Piazza San Marco. The rooms were noisy from passing people in front of the annex. the hotel was very conveniently placed for access to the valpereto as well as waterfront restaurants. The facilities and breakfast were excellent and the price reasonable.

Fantastic option, especially if you are going in and out of Venice quickly. Conveniently located a few steps from St Mark's Square, and directly in front of the stops for the vaporetto and the water bus to the airport. You are about 2 minutes from San Marcus square, 5 minutes from the Hard Rock and the water taxi leaves you right in front of the hotel. What i'm trying to say is it was a great location, room was clean, great presentation of the room and fantastic customer service all together very satisfied

The Hotel Paganelli was very nice. The room was so beautiful. I stayed in the Annex which is right around the corner from the main hotel. The room had a lot of space with a shower and small tub. I loved everything about the room except the bed was a little hard but it wasn't a big deal. The location couldn't be better. The water taxi's and water bus […] station is literally right in front of the hotel. The stop is the S. Zaccaaria. It is right around the corner from St Marks but just far enough to avoid the loud noise. Very close to Plaza San Marco and front Vence Gondola Service.

This was my 2nd time at Hotel Paganelli. The room/service/food was good quality. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is a good location in regards to St. Mark's square and also the price is very good.

Its location is excelent, its very close to plaza San Marcos. Also our room was very nice, and the personal attention was very kind.

Staying for 2nights the last week of January, we got off the Vaporetto at S.Zaccaria and just to the right is Hotel Paganelli. Perfect location. Check-in was fine, our room got upgraded from an annex to a superior for no given reason but we didn't complain. Room was really nice, 26inch tv on the wall for those who understand italian and en-suite bathroom […] (slight smell coming from bathroom toilet upon arrival, however we found this smell to be common at times throughout Venice - Opening the bathroom window got rid of the smell). Room had a safe which you program yourself. Breakfast was between 7.30am and 10am, consisting of cereal, baguettes, ham, cheese, cake etc. Wide variety to cater for everyone. A 60 second walk after breakfast takes you to St Marks Square and the main attractions. Ideal location, nice hotel and would definitely recommend it to friends/family and stay again when we return. Myself and my partner visited Venice for my birthday, We could not have wished for a better hotel with value for money, great staff, turnover service, great continental breakfast, a lovely room and a fantastic location! We were right outside the main Vaporetti stop, a couple of minutes from St Marks square.. we travelled all of Venice and surrounding […] island with ease and the staff were very helpful! Hotel staff is friendly. Location is on one of the most strategic location in Venice. Piazza San Marco and San Zaccaria water bus stop are just step away. This will be my most preferred hotel for my future visit to Venice.

Very close to St Marks and the Rialto Bridge and its surrounding shops and restaurants. And the Vaporetto is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is older but clean. Breakfast was excellent. We had one issue......mosquitoes.......no screens!

The hotel was right on the main canal with a water taxi stop right out in front of the hotel. It was convenient to St. Mark's square. The receptionist greeted me with a "very" warm welcome and helped me with information I needed. The room was comfortable, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great location! about 2 blocks from San Marco square. Convenient to the water bus (right in front of the hotel), cheap transport from airport to hotel, and also to train station. Also, make sure if the rate […] you pay is the room in the annex or in the main hotel. Hotel Paganelli was perfectly located next to the San Marco Piazza with lots of shopping and restaurants. It's right on the water and close to the 41/42 waterbus station which will pretty much take you anywhere you want to go. The staff was pleasant and check-in but that was about it. I was in the "annex", which is not right on the water, but about 50 yards back, up an alley; I was in the downstairs room next to the breakfast area (this is the breakfast area for the whole hotel), so there was some noise from there and from the street, and no view. This is apparently much cheaper. The front desk staff spoke English adequately and […] were very friendly. The internet (free Wifi, get code from desk) was the best I have encountered in Europe. The room was clean and the bathroom actually large. The location is very convenient to San Marco; the Zaccharia boat station is almost in front of the main hotel.
