The hotel was fabulous and the resturaunts were wonderful as well! Will definately return again soon!

we never got our room upgraded where we want to stay..asked for special arrangement..which was never done..

The snacks being on a sensor negatively affected my level of comfort in my room & would discourage mw from vacationing there with children. The room keys never worked on the first try & usually took 3-4 tries to get in, which was annoying. The Bimini Steakhouse was absolutely impeccable, both because our outstanding server, Mario, & the food was timely […] & delicious. We ate @ Cafe Milano for breakfast during our time there twice. Both times, Rosie was our server & she was attentive & friendly. We were seated by a male both times & the first time he was disrespectful to Rosie & hardly friendly the second time. The Peppermill Casino was a pleasure to stay at. Free convenient parking, great room, great TV, free Wi-Fi internet, coupons at check-in (enjoyed the 2 for 1 drink coupon at their fireside lounge). Plus my wife won more than I lost in the casino.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Peppermill. We did not stay in the new towers, but our room was very comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable as well. During our stay we dined at Cafe Milano, Oceano and Biscotti's. We were satisfied with all three. The hot tub/ pool was closed the first full day due to wind, but once it was open we enjoyed […] ourselves. What can I say, Peppermill is an Excellent Hotel, everything from the restaurants to the spa! I will be looking forward to my next stay!

We love staying in Peppermill resort. Rooms are so much better compare to some of the other hotels in Reno we have stayed so far.

We had a very wonderful weekend with Peppermill! ate at some of their FINE restaurants, danced at one of their lounges, worked out in their Great fitness Center, and swam in their heated pool! What a Great place for a get away!

The mattress is way too soft...

excellent hotel, food. casino very smoky must pass through to get to most restaurants. heated outdoor pool and hot tub were great until the wind came.

There were some issues with the cable and the room service was rude. They attempted to enter the room several times with no permission.

Tremendous quality of stay for the money. I've stayed at other chains for business and they pale in comparison to the Peppermill.

Room rate was great, but beware of extra charges, example: $12 resort fee, if you use them or not. dont touch courtsey bar, sensors charge you even they're returned

I dont like the fact that resort fee is not part of the booking online.thay charge u at the hotel.i dont even know where the resort was!

Excellent place but the location is far from downtown. The North and West towers are far and it's easy to get lost going to the room. I didn't like paying the $13.56 resort fee per day since I didn't use the health spa or pool. Also, I would prefer to have a refrigerator for my use in the room rather than the one they put there with drinks for purchase...and […] snacks for purchase. I could use the room for my items. It wasnt worth it for us to stay at the pepermill, it was further away from the strip not in walking access. The housekeeping is horrible, after being out of our room for a while we came back to find housekeepinghad been there but they dropped piecesof trash outsidei our door and i noticed it at a few of the other rooms when o walked by. The room had […] nice furniture, but if it was in a bigger room. I was suffocating in that room. The bed was not of comfort at all either. Just not happy. A comfortable hotel. It is not, however, a convenient place for disabled people like me. The hallways and corridors are long and unforgiving. If you have any difficulty walking (I do), it is a very difficult place to access the casino and restaurants.

I am ging to give the biggest tip...Tuscany Rooms are Top of the line, bathrooms are Luxurious, Peppermill rooms are comfortable and clean. West wing..you have a WALK, they are located outside of the Casino, that is fine if you are traveling and want to park right outside your room. and you dont want to walk THROUGH the casino. The Hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful! The restaurants were delicious, and we enjoyed the entertainment in one of the lounges. We stayed in the spa sweet and the room was perfect! The only thing we didn't realize was this hotel is farther down a few blocks from the main strip of casinos, if you like to go to more than one for different restaurant […] or shows or gambling you had to drive, but the Peppermill in itself had so much to do you could just stay on there grounds too. Hotel was very nice, very clean. The staff was awesome. Everyone was very helpful. Don't move anything around in the fridge or the snack table... It will automatically charge you... $ 90.00 worth! We did get this charge reversed. If you want snacks go to the Walmart down the street. I'm not trying to pay $3.00, for a Kitkat bar. We enjoyed our stay in Reno at the Peppermill the room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The fitness center has lots of equipment and convenient hours. I would definately stay there again and recommend it highly.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Wish resort fees were listed when booking was the only complaint I had. Overall a great value

We were put in the North Wing. I do not recommend it. It is up an elevator, down a long hallway across the catwalk, up a flight of stairs to take the elevator down a floor to our room. This section has only 2 floors. The room was cramped and very far away from the casino floor and any restaurants or amenities. we were also charged a $13.00 resort fee […] per night in addition to the hotels.com costs. ...but at least the wi-fi was "free" (part of the resort fee). Super good, I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this is the very best ever, the room, the view, and the entire stay was great. We did get a free upgrade as we paid only a budget price, next time I will pay for the upgrade to be sure that we get as good a time. And no we didn't win at the Casino.

We've stayed at the Peppercorn 3 times now, and will again next time we head to Reno. Best to do this in a pro/con way for easier digestion. :) ______________________________ PROS: 1. Spotless hotel room (N.Tower, least expensive). 2. Clean facility 3. Modern, fresh, with charm. 4. Friendly, helpful staff. 5. Nice Restaurants. 6. Moderate-to Expensive […] menu choices. 7. Quiet hotel - easy, comfy sleep. 8. Safe, clean parking garage. CONS: 1. $13.00 hotel "surcharge" is a bit over the top. 2. Very smokey casino area - smallish non-smoking section.. but not bad. 3. Sound system music drowned out their live band, which was unfortunate. 4. Oceana is a fabulous restaurant, but given it's the one most "central" to casino users (and the most visually fun) - they need to offer more than just 2 non-seafood menu items (chicken strips & Asian Steak Salad -which was really quite good). 5. Last but not least - NO ONE was winning. Slots and poker machines were VERY tight. We did much better at the Atlantis - but not great either. We lost what we came with to spend, and then recovered our losses on the way out of town at Boomtown Casino! A GREAT stop! 6. As consumers, we "get" that SOMEONE has to pay for all that electricity, square footage, decor, etc - which probably explains why there were very few, if any, winners. We left to play elsewhere when the losing streak became ridiculous, and then ended our evening by returning for dinner and a few last minute slots at Peppermill before turning in for the night. My last "minor" complaint: the attire required for the cocktail waitresses. Really not up to par with the quality of the overall hotel. I wore a "costume" like that on drill team in the '80's. It was demeaning, I though, that their female employees had to wear what amounts to a full-piece bathing suite (with hose). My wife and I stopped at the Peppermill on our way home from California and are we glad we did. The Spa is unbelievable. Food, out of this world. Service was excellent. We gambled in the casino the last night, played craps and had great time. Bill was great! One guy was a jerk though, he needs to get another job. Thanks again!!!

This is really a beautiful Hotel. We had a suite in the Tuscany Towers which we enjoyed. The issue we have is that after checking out and driving to California, I realized I had left my ring on the nightstand. I called immediately as it was obvious to me that the housekeeping staff would see it and retreive it. Explained the ring had limited monetary […] value as it was sterling siver with an agate stone. Offered a reward for twice its value, but to no avail. Most disappointing as the ring had tremendous sentimental value as it was given to me by my wife who recently passed away. If you like a firm bed, this place is pretty good. However, I hardly slept the first night and requested a softer bed elsewhere in the hotel. They stated that they were all the same. They offered to try and find some padding to place on the bed, but no changes were made. I was disappointed and dealt with it the remaining two nights. I was also put off […] by the outrageous prices of the in-room vending of drinks and snacks, with no room left in the refrigerator for personal use. I won't be visiting The Peppermill again. Had a very relaxing weekend with my husband, can't beat the price for the spa suite, it's in the older tower but rooms have been remodeled beautifully and the spa and steam shower are great! We have stayed many times and I would say it is definitely our first choice in Reno.

everything was good except a luke warm at best shower.
