We just spent five days at Ocean's Reach and had a lovely time. Exquisite view, a wide expanse of white beach, a shelling extravaganza. The condominium was beautiful, clean, comfortable, had all the furnishings of home. Our rental bikes were there waiting for us in the car park. Location was great; we rode our bikes everywhere and didn't even need the […] car. Our three year old loved playing in the sand and swimming in the pool. Ocean's Reach is the ideal spot to enjoy the island-style life on Sanibel. Beautiful facility and grounds, friendly and helpful staff, and the superb, clean beach are highlights of this property. The complex is right on the beach, which is great. Plus, it is off of a side street, so there is no traffic noise -- just the sound of the waves. The unit we were in, 3X1, was a one-bedroom, one bath with a small screened-in porch. Overall the complex and the unit were well-maintained and well sound-proofed so that we didn't hear our neighbors through […] the wall. The covered parking was convenient and the pool and surrounding area were immaculate. The flat-screen TV, DVD player, etc. were excellent. However, there were a few disappointments. First, the bed was uncomfortable. In addition, the mattress cover and the bottom, fitted sheet would not stay in place no matter how many times we put them back so that we ended up sleeping on the mattress. The sofa was very uncomfortable as well, and it was the critical item of furniture in the living room. There was no coffee table, either. I did report this to the staff and they promised to take note. We would recommend the complex but unless these items are addressed, would not recommend this particular unit. Continua a leggere

The condo and facilities were clean, well maintained and generally welcoming. The staff was unobtrusive, but helpful. The appliances are near new, tons of kitchen utensils and dishes, large refrigerator with ice maker. First floor condo is on the beach level, creating a special feeling of closeness. Ocean's Reach is a great spot. It is right on the beach and convenient to everything. They give you a storage unit near your car which is very handy to put beach stuff in so you don't have to lug everything to your room. It is close to Jerry's market and lots of restaurants.

Great condo! Will stay there again. Able to check in late, safe area. Right on the beach with lanai. Came with beach equipment like chairs and umbrellas. Able to rent bikes and close enough to shops to take the bikes there.

We loved this condo/hotel. Our first floor apartment had a perfect view of the Gulf of Mexico out our front sliding glass door. The nearby beach and pool were wonderful. Ocean's Reach Condos meet and exceeded all of our requirements. The individually owned condos are well equipped and very clean. Wendy and the front desk staff are very personable and extremely accomodating. Views of the beach are lovely. We had a lower level, walk out unit which was perfect and although we were near the pool, it was very quiet. The […] units have a screened in lanai which is a nice feature. Ours did not have a ceiling fan which limited its use in the searing heat of Sanibel. Other units did have fans making the lanai a wonderful spot for morning coffee. Overall, this trip was one of our best vacations considering all factors - reasonable price, comfortable facilities, availability of on site bike rentals and more. Check-in insturctions were not provided, and the office was closed when we arrived. Initially, I did not see the note taped to the door with our room number and instructions to go directly to our room, so I was a little panicked at first. Once we got to the room, everything was fine. It was clean and well furnished. A lot of other things that properties […] provide for free were available here for rent, including beach towels and umbrellas. TV did not work in the living area, and the office sent someone to fix it immediately. Our one bedroom with kitchen and living area (with sofa bed) was a little snug but okay for one week. The sofa bed was very mushy but okay for two kids. The master bed was comfortable, although sheets were cheap. All in all, our stay was great. We enjoyed our stay at the Sundial Beach and Golf Resort. We were on the beach and had a very nice clean condo. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping came through each day remaking the beds and cleaning.

Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. THe beach was about 20 yards away from the beach. The condo was very stocked from laundry soap to appliances. Parking is covered and our condo had a stocked storage room too ( fishing rods/reels, beach chairs, shelling equipment, ice chest, swim noodles, boogie boards). Large, 2 bedroom condo with well equipped kitchen (as well as the usual cooker, microwave, fridge there was also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer), 2 bathrooms and sea view. I loved everything about Ocean's Reach. This was my second year to stay at this resort and I am impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the place. The condo was perfect for our needs and they maintain the grounds beautifully as well. Just a few steps from the beach and pool.

Wow. Loved the place. So very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Beach was absolutely perfect and all condos are less than 100 steps away. Beautiful view of the gulf from the condo's patio/lanai. I would definately stay at Oceans Reach again--Collected 100s of shells, watched dolphins very close to the beach, saw manatees, full moon over the […] ocean, romantic sunsets, nice weather (but hot and humid!) and bed was super comfortable---simply perfect. Condo was stocked with everything (except food) even beach chairs and a cooler in our condos storage. We have just returned from our vacation to Sanibel island. It was very relaxing and tranquil. If you are looking for a place to walk on the beach, bike and simply sit and watch dolphins, then go to Ocean's Reach. One advice is to take some kind of repelent to protect yourself from No See Ums (very tiny bugs that can spoil your vacation). Take them seriously, […] their bites are painful if you are not protected. We did the research: Skin So Soft, Deep Woods repellent, or Repel's Lemon Eaucalyptus should work. Die Ferienwohnung liegt absolut genial, direkt am Privatstrand. Ein traumhafter Ausblick zum Meer. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Im Garten sind Gasgrills zur Nutzung vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist groß und gemütlich und gut eingerichtet. Einfach schön, dort den Urlaub zu verbringen.

Vi hade en underbar vecka här på Sanibel mellan Jul och Nyår. Fantastiskt väder och natur. Underbart Hotell med varm och skön pool, tennisbana mm. Grym utsikt över havet. Vi var två vuxna och två barn (11 och 13 år) och det hade ju varit ännu bättre med ett extra sovrum med två riktiga sängar, nu hade vi en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Alla sov dock […] bra! Nun wyaren wir zum 5. Mal in Florida aber so was tolles haben wir, was die Wohnung betrifft und die Lage noch nicht erlebt - einfach herrlich - aber vielleicht sollten wir lieber nicht zu hoch loben - denn wir wollen im kommenden Jahr gerne wieder kommen - nicht dass dann alles ausgebucht ist. Strand mit herrlichen Muscheln, super ruhig, waren gestresst […] durch die Arbeit - dort super relaxt! Delfine am Morgen und Mittag gesehen - alles perfekt. Tout simplement parfait Le lieu est superbe l’appartement 2 chambres est grand avec vue sur la mer Tout est prévu pour passer une semaine serviettes de bains, produits ménagers, etc. .. L'appartement etait propre et tres bien equipe. Il donnait sur la plage, et etait a proximite de la piscine. Complexe calme et tres agreable, situe sur une petite ile ou les oiseaux, coquillages, dauphins ont investit les lieux. Un cadre ideal pour se reposer en amoureux ou en famille. De beaux souvenirs et l'envie d'y retourner c'est certain!
