Wingate by Wyndham - Yuma Yuma

I plan a trip once a year and the group takes approximately 6 rooms. We are pleased with the upgrades and the quality of the Hotel. The Lobby is welcoming and the hot breakfast is a nice touch. Best waffles I have had anywhere.

Great location, but that is where the great ended. Mattresses are awful and and the internet wouldn't work. When we called downstairs about the internet, they had my husband call the internet provider, instead of handling it themselves. He spoke to them 4 times and the problem was never corrected. Concierge said that they had made a Tee Time for my […] husband, we showed up at the course and no tee time had been made. They based their pictures on the wonderful pool slide and when we went to use it, it is only open 2 hours a day....from 2-4 PM on weekdays, so the kids were very disappointed. The working staff where very frendly and the room was very comfortable. I was able to get a great nights sleep and i will return next year for our event.

A great place to stay if your planning on an extended stay.

The hotel was newer and clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, and good location. Food right next door and across the street from the Yuma palms shopping center. The only bad thing was the pool wasn't heated.

My daughter and I were extremely happy with our stay at the Wingate while visiting my son in Yuma. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located. We will definitely stay there again on future visits.

Room not clean. Never left enough towels and wash cloths, had 3 people staying in room, only left enough towels and washcloths for 2. In room coffee maker was a single cup maker which was fine but only ever left 2 single cup packets of coffee. VERY HIGH QUALITY HOTEL. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

Could not ask for anything more @ this place.

Very close to restaurants and shopping. Close to historical district and other sites. I would stay at this hotel again.

The only downside to our stay was the water. Tap water was so bad that people were going into the gym to get water from the cooler. The hotel gave no bottled water in the room.

Very clean, comfortable room with great bed. Rooms are quiet unless you get stuck with the room on each floor that is next to the elevator, in which case you can forget about staying asleep until every other peson in the hotel stops using the thing for the night. The "continental breakfast" would be less disgusting if they used real eggs and bacon. […] Whatever they were serving tasted like plastic, the bacon plastic with lots of grease. Fortunately I only got stuck by the elevator one time, but not this time. There is a decent place across the street where you can get real food for breakfast. Awsome hotel for the price. Cleanliness is great. The hotel was replacing all carpet in the hallways while we were there, but even then, its was very quiet and they kept everything clean. it is conveniently located next to the mall and alot of restaurants within walking distance. I stayed here 12/31/11. My family & I checked in at 3:30pm. Upon entering our room, it was very stuffy, no a/c turned on, the sun beating into our room. We turned the a/c on and left for the day. We didnt rtn until 1:30am to find that the a/c was not properly working. It has some cool air, but was not enough to cool off the room completely. It was […] hard to sleep bc it was a little warm. It was early in the morning so we decided to stick it out. The next day, at check out, I told the front desk clerk that our a/c unit did not work well, that it was warm in our hotel room. He didnt reply but just made a face. No appology, no offer for a discount, no coupons for our next stay. I would have at least expected an appology and assurance that they would look into the matter so that no other customer would have the same issues. Had the a/c worked fine, this would have gotten 5 stars. Had the front desk clerk handled my problem well, this would still have gotten 5 stars. I would still recomend the hotel based on the cleaniness, comfort, amenties (micro and fridge in rooms) price. However Wingate, I suggest looking into customer service and the care of the room. The Hotel was great. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay again with out any concerns... I have traveled a lot this year and this was the best hotel and actually more affordable then all the others. Will look for the Wydam brand in the future...

A very nice hotel for the price. Easy to find and close to everything.

The showers were in need of updating. Hard water deposits and some peeling wall paper.

This was my first trip to Yuma and was there for a confernece and Gov't business. Had a great stay and good price to match. Wingate is ideally located by plenty of resteraunts and shopping. Accomodations were fine. Will be sure to pick them on my next trip to Yuma.

The hotel is located near the interstate and close to the Yuma Palm Mall. Perfect location for shopping without the kids on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Our room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast provided by the hotel had plenty of options like eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk […] and juice. My only compliant is the TV schedule in room did not have correct checkout time and also hours for breakfast were different from actual hours posted. Great clean and new rooms, terrible, rude and unattentive staff. Stay if you don't need to have anything to do with the employees. It's not worth it getting up to their short breakfast service. Not worth the price they'll charge you, but the rooms are actually very nice. Pool area terrible.

This was a good value for the money. Hotel in decent shape (I think it's pretty new), except for that godawful carpeting in the corridors (gave me a headache just to look at it). Big complaint: they charged us an extra $20 for "incidentals." I guess in case we ordered a movie or something and didn't pay for it. The room was exceptional and the overall appearance of the hotel was great. The pool was inviting and clean. This is my second stay Wingate by Wyndham and I must Say I would choose them over other or similar brands based on these 2 stays. Only issue was a Wifi malfunction and was not working. This is a big part of my rating as a 4 not a five

The Wingate by Wyndham in Yuma met all our expectations. The rooms and entire hotel were extremely clean, and the breakfast variety was very good (eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, fruit, and more). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, just a few blocks away from I-8. Numerous restaurants, both […] chains and local establishments, are located within a 3 mile radius. Also, there is a fully fenced pool and jacuzzi area that was kept very clean with extra towels for guests. Bottom line - this is a very good hotel and an excellent value for the money. Very clean, which is very important to me. I arrived later then I expected, the fellow behind was quite cheerful, and we exchanged some humor at 2am in the morning. Got a room with a king size bed. It was quite large, and very inviting to spend only a few hours in it, as I need to be back on the road at 7am. We came to this hotel just to split the way from San Diego to Phoenix, because we travelled with our 2 little boys. We were surprised to find a lovely hotel, nice room, pleasant service, great breakfast. It was only one night, but we enjoyed it. We loved our stay for 4 nights. It's fairly new and in very good condition. Our room was very spacious, clean and an LCD TV was a nice touch to the interior. Location was very close to a huge shopping plaza with a lot of stores and food places. Very easy access to a HWY. Breakfast was pretty good with many choices including waffles. I was at the Wingate Yuma for 2 nights on a biz trip. Like all of the Wingates I've stayed at, this hotel is well run and as I guest I appreciated the courtesy of the staff, who're both friendly and efficent. I never hesitate to stay at a Wingate as they've consistently come through for me.

Definitely recommend! The hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We weren't able to check in early due to the hotel being booked from the night before but the young lady at the front desk called me as soon as my room was ready for check in. The room was nicely decorated,with contemporary style. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The furnishings are nice and it's always helpful to have the convenience of a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron & board and of course a TV. It was quiet and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful as well. We would stay there again.

Very nice place to stay. Good accommodations and very clean. I found my stay here both relaxing and enjoyable. Near excellent shopping and good resturants. I will definately stay here when I visit Yuma again! Prices are verry reasonable too!
