Friendly service! Room was spotless & seemed freshly painted. Beds & pillows were comfy. Kids (4 y/o & 3 y/o) had a blast in the indoor pool which is nice & large. Free breakfast was the typical quality for a free breakfast--biscuits & gravy, sausage, eggs, bagels, donuts, cereal, juice & coffee--a great value. We will definitely stay again!

The staff was very nice, the pool was great! The building is older and a little out of date. ( I haven't used a old style key in a motel for at least 10 years). They Wi-Fi was not the greatest, and the breakfast was awkward and not that great. They didn't let you get your own breakfast, I suppose for portion control reasons. It was a great place for our family to stay for a great price! Staff was super friendly, pool was great! Rooms were outdated and need new carpet but were clean which is what matters to me! We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very nice and accomodating. Our 1st room was terrible and smelled of mold and mildew. The sheets, mattresses and pillows are worn.

We are not picky people, we don't require much of a room because we didn't plan on spending much time there, too much to see/do around Branson! The only thing we liked about this hotel was it had a nice, big, heated indoor pool. The first room we got had signs of being cleaned, but someone was obviously occupying/living in this room unbeknownst to the […] front desk. I pulled back the sheets to check before I complained and the beds were GROSS! We would have left had we not already paid thru this website. SO we went back to the front and had our room changed. That one was clean (or seemed to be!) and was "ok". We would not stay here again. The beds were very uncomfortable and the hotel looks like it's just off the main strip but it's in kind of a weird place that's easy to get turned around in (and we are very familar with Branson, almost locals we are there so much.) I can honestly say that is the worst place I've ever stayed in and we've stayed in some low budget hotels in our travels. I can deal with old.. I can't deal with dirty. Continua a leggere

We had a great time--we didn't use a lot of the ammenities (pool, breakfast, etc.) but the staff was very friendly on check in, the room was a nice size and was clean, and we were very comfortable. Friendly staff. Stayed on New Years Eve and some fellow guests were partying all night long keeping us awake. Not really the hotels fault.

The stay would have been perfect if it wasnt for the kids that were running all night on the floor above us, because of this we had less than 2 hours sleep. Notes are posted in the room " to please not disturb the manager after 11 pm". The next morning we found out that other guests had called the Branson police and they came out to take care of the […] situation, the night had already been ruined for us though. We really enjoyed our stay at Boxcar Willie. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable.The pool was a good size. I took my son and daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. They all had a good time. We got a very good price on the rooms and was very pleased. This is a very good place to stay.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but the pool and hot tub were in bad shape. The jets in the hot tub were not working, tiles in the pool were coming off. The breakfast was not good. Not much of a selection and the hot stuff were cold.

Very affordable stay. We realize this is one of the older hotels in Branson and we were very satisfied with the room and the clerk at the front desk. Rooms were maintained in a good condition and were very comfortable. There should be a rating category somewhere between pleasing and superb

staff was very nice and pleasant - very friendly and helpful. Pool is very nice and big too. but hotel is older and many things are older - locks, carpets, blankets (really need to replace the blankets and bedspreads - they have been washed so many times, almost falling apart), did not have manual lock on the inside so anyone with a key could get inside, […] but room was clean and sheets looked newer. the breakfast was sad........ i would recommend going somewhere else to eat. don't consider you won't have to purchase breakfast. unless you like biscuits and gravy - lady next to me said they were great. i just wanted fruit, eggs and sausage, not good at all. so ate cereal. i would pay $15 more a day and stay at Barrington again. Nice breakfast variety; one of the few places in Branson where it was not overcooked, over-seasoned. We did not use the pool, but looked well kept. Pleasing lobby. Staff was exceptional.

The hotel was fairly clean but looks like it could use some updates. We couldn't complain too much as the price was very good and breakfast was included. There was something on the bedskirt and on the floor beside it, I left a note for the maid but it wasn't changed. There was some mold on the wall of the bathroom also. The breakfast was a little on the light side but the food was good. I do not care for biscuits and most guest had biscuits and gravy. The donuts were fresh and I had several with the eggs and sausage. Beats going out and paying a high price for breakfast, and you do not have wait for your food. This "+" was a nice feature!

The stay was good other than my stool and sink was clogged up. I go to the hotel and drop my things off in the rooms and left cause we only came down for the night. so i used nothing in the room until we returned later that evening around 11:00pm or so. I called the 405 number best the front desk was closed. I was calling because the sink and stool […] was clogged. The guy that answered the phone came to my room with in 10 - 15 min which was great. The bad thing was he handed me the plunger and left. Thank God i'm a Plumber so i wasn't a bad task for me. But, i that the normal thing to do with visitor to have them plunger out stools and sinks? I was offered any money back or nothing. Then the hot breakfast was everything but that. Maybe someone needs to look into the breakfast microwave eggs, canned gravy and fruit and water orange juice. Over all I was concerned when w first arrived. However it turned out to be a gem in the rough. The location is not far everything. 10 minutes from silver dollar city and 1 minute from the strip. In door pool and spa made it nice to be able to go back late and swim. I'm going back next year!

It was very enjoyable; we have one of Boxcar Willie's CD's and love the songs on it. When we saw Boxcar Willie Inn on the list, we knew we just had to stay there. For a motel, this inn was more than acceptable. The room was very clean, although a bit of maintenance was needed in the room (i.e., toilet seat wobbly, parts from sink basin need replacing). The first thing we wanted to do was hit the hot tub, after our long drive. It was cold, and they said they didn't even know. Breakfast was typical of free breakfasts, we ate out. The second night the people above of us literally sounded like they were running races and jumping competitions. Hotel looks very nice on the outside but the inside is kind've dark and rustic. Not very modern. The pool was nice but jets on hot tub didn't work. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast left alot to be desired. Young man working was not a good representation for the hotel. Kitchen area very run down looking. He had sausage and eggs pre […] cooked so just took them out of tupperware container. Made waffles to order, though which was good. Orange juice machine did not work. Great hotel! Super staff who go out of their way to help. Great room, 301, with a super view of the mountains. Front desk person turned us on to Terry's Ticket service who you call and they bring the tics right to the hotel. His prices were the best we found too. The pool was great.
