Wonderful charming hotel. Service was spectacular. The daily warm cookie were a special treat the kids looked forward to. I would highly recommend The French Quarter Inn.

Very pretty hotel but beds not very comfortable. Parking spaces not big enough for a go cart. Don't go there if you value car doors without dings. Also 7 dollars for a draft beer expensive by anyone's standards

Great hotel. Located right in the middle of all the wonderful restaurants , and you can easily walk to most of the sights, as well. The bed linens are top quality - as is everything else about this hotel. We will stay there again.

I will return to the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the wine and cheese reception and the "pillow menu" giving a choice of 7 different pillows.

Great place and very convenient to everything in Charleston. They even gave us discount coupons for the carriage ride, which should not be missed. Snacks offered all day long including wine and cheese at 5:00pm. Was really a good value, given all the amenities.

Great location - walking distance to everything. Service was exceptional. Greeted with champagne while checking in, followed by a very social wine & cheese gathering in the early evening and milk and cookies before bed. this hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. the room, amenities, staff, service were top notch. it was a wonderful experience.

This hotel is fantastic! A little pricey but well worth, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at The French Quarter Inn for 6 nights and it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From check-in to check out, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel overlooks the Market and is in an excellent location to walk to historical sites, King Street, and outstanding restaurants. It is a very quiet hotel that caters to the hotel guests. We have been to Charleston several times and this is probably one of the more outstatnding places to stay. The Inn is lovely, the rooms are huge (we upgraded to a room with a balcony and a fireplace) and the service was great. Champagne on check in and daily wine and cheese in the afternoon is a nice touch as well

I love this little hotel! There are just so many amenities that I don't know where to begin! When you first check in, you are greeted with a glass of champagne and lady fingers. The hotel offers free breakfast, wine and cheese in the evenings, milk and cookies, as well as coffee/tea any time of day. We had a great stay starting with champagne upon arrival. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Hotel is close to everything. Had breakfast delivered to our room at no extra charge. Wine and cheese reception was very nice and even cookies and milk in eve! We will stay here again!

I highly recommend this hotel....this being my second time staying with them. On this trip, upon check-in, I was advised that the king room I had requested was unavailable. However, I was upgraded to a jr. suite, with 2 queen beds and a private balcony....very nice. All of the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. I definately plan on making this […] an annual trip. Excellent location. Can walk to market, restaurants, etc.. Breakfast, wine and cheese, and cookies at night were a nice touch.

We really enjoyed the people and the location at this hotel. All of the recommendations we received - from restaurants to walking tours - were dead on. Service was great; location was great. They had complimentary food and drinks basically around the clock. There are ritzier places to stay in Charleston, but for the money, this place was fantastic.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The champagne on arrival, wine and cheese @ 5, lengthy continental breakfast with peeled oranges were all delightful. The ambiance allowed one to chat with other guests or have quiet time alone. The location does not require a car . One is close to excellent restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Better than we expected. We plan on returning, and cant imagine trying another hotel after this one. great location-can walk to everything within a few blocks. Champagne at check-in. Given to us at front desk upon arrival in elegant champagne flutes. Choice of pillows, anti-snoring, chiropractic, etc.-brought within minutes of request. Room immaculate-we […] had a suite which was well-appointed and quite comfortable. User-friendly internet/computer with printer in room. 4p wine and cheese daily- nice wines, beautiful large tray of fresh fruits and cheeses, cracker varieties. private courtyard, many cozy indoor spots for enjoying wine and cheese. fabulous open circular stairway from first floor all the way up. Turn-down service with box of chocolates on each side, plush robes laid out on beds at turn-down. Breakfast menu for low-fat healthy choice or regular breakfast- time choice for when breakfast should be brought to room in am. within 5 minutes of desired time every day. Large, sumptuous breakfast enjoyed daily. Oh, and did I mention these services were all complimentary? There is no other choice. I've stayed here a few times for business, and have never been let down. Beautiful hotel in a terrific location, with wonderful furnishings and incredible staff. Old World Southern hospitality -- love it!

The French Quarter Inn far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very conveniently located within walking distance of many excellent restaurants and historical attractions. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel offers too many amenities to mention. We will surely stay there again on our next visit to Charleston.

We had a very large well equipped room with a view of the market from our balcony. The complimentary continental breakfast was very standard & unchanged during our 5 day stay, but the champagne on arrival was a nice touch. A very nice small hotel, ideally suited to our needs.

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms are adequate and the beds and pillows very, very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is good and the ambience is excellent. This is a lovely hotel and we will go back when in Charleston.

Wow, we were so happy with our choice. The tea and coffee all day in the halls was so convenient. We enjoyed the wine and cheese every evening. They even held our welcome Champagne until we were more ready to drink it! The location is great and walking distance to most everything. The staff is super friendly. This was a great hotel.

The French Quarter Inn was everything I had hoped it would be. Just the place for a romantic getaway. Our queen deluxe room had large balcony overlooking the market area, too very comfy queen beds, big screen LCD tv w/blue ray, jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and a gas fireplace w/chair & ottoman. Service staff was great, always helpful w/info. & recommendations. […] Too many ammenities to list ie..champagne & ladyfingers, wine, grapes, & cheese every evening, coffee & tea available all day, and breakfast in room or downstairs, and nightly turn-down service. It's in the middle of everything downtown Charleston, so if you want to leave your room, there's plenty of tours, shopping, and dining within walking distance. We spent only one night at the French Quarter Inn, but enjoyed it very much. We booked an "executive suite", though apparently they come with different features and we were not sure what we were going to get. We ended up with a very nice room, it was very large and had a nice large bathroom with a jetted tub, as well as a huge balcony with patio furniture. […] We enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoon, but sadly missed milk and cookies as we were out for dinner late. We got breakfast brought up to the room and ate it on the balcony, it was lovely. Service was great, the bed very comfortable and the people very nice. I was thrilled with the welcome we encountered when we arrived. The front desk staff was not only entertaining (Faith) but also was very helpful with making reservations and providing suggestions on where we should spend our time for the little time we had. Southern hospitality, efficiency and so many little things go into making this a wonderful place to stay. The location cannot be beat, and the wine and cheese evenings, plus champagne until the last person checks in, plus milk and cookies at night, plus free (and delivered-to-your-room-for-free) continental breakfast, pluscoffe/tea bar in every hallway, […] plus lovely rooms, bathrobes and a balcony on every floor (for those that don't have them in a room) make for one delightful hotel. I do wish they hadn't bothered me in the late morning when I had a DND sign on the door to get the breakfast tray, but if that was the only issue, I can forgive. Even valet was rather reasonable for the area, and the young woman at the front desk was happy to get my car for me at 5:00 am. Continua a leggere

Definite European feel to accomodation and ambience. Very helpful front desk staff. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed Charleston and the French Quarter Inn. The location could not be better. The rooms were very clean, quiet and well appointed. The front desk staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is a bit limited - just pastries and cereal, but it sufficed.

The Gold Standard of hotels! The only blemish being that they accidentally charged us the fee for incidentals two days after checking out and it took two phone calls to get it sorted out.
