Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013Hotel rinnovato e curato. Camera e armadio un pò piccoli ma c'era tutto il necessario. Connessione wifi gratuita e salotto con bibite calde 24 ore su 24. A meno di 5 min a piedi da Time Squere e dal metro.

"Bad customer service"
The staff is very rude did offer to help us to change our room from smoking to none smoking even thought it ws 2 pm and there where a non smoking rooms availabe. the area is very poor and trashy, def not to talk a walk at night .Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

I don't know why everyone down this place. It has been renoviated and it's clean. I believe people knock because of where it's located. I live in Paterson and it was very convenience especially since my house was being fixed. I will continue to support this hotel.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Stay only if you have no where else to sleep"
I needed a place to crash as i was travelling to another city and this place happened to be on my way. The place is located in some shady area where the cops siren woke me up 2 times. The hotel is ok but i wouldn't recommend it for family or a couple for sure. When i was checking in i saw the receptionist renting the room by the hour so you can imagine […] the place. "Scottish Inn in Paterson NJ"
We had agreed to pay cash when we got to the hotel and on a specific price for a 2nd night if we decided to stay. The manager immediately charged my card for the stay and we had to argue with him to take the charge off and accept cash. The hotel is in a rough neighborhood. The battery in the smoke alarm was dead and beeping every 10 seconds until we […] pulled it out. The heater barely worked and clean is not a word I would use to describe the room. Hotel service?? There wasn't any service unless you count dirty looks from the cleaning lady. This place is a dump and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I knew it was in Paterson, so I didn't expect it to be in a great neighborhood, but unless you're looking to score some crack at 3am, I recommend that you find a different hotel. "Scottish inn- awful and unsafe"
This is a pay by the hour hotel in one of the worst areas I've been. Men are in and out with prostitutes all day and night. Homeless men line the streets as do prostitutes. Men drinking in parking lots during day. Room is dirty and you can hear people thru the wall doing things you don't want to hear. Constant turnover thru the night. Hard to sleep. […] Dirty bed. Dirty towels. Dirty floor. Shower had no hot water. Hardcore porn on tv. Not a place for women alone, kids, family, or really anyone who can afford anything better. Also, front desk tried to add $20 onto bill for something they had on their printed receipt which was not on mine. Backed down when I said I didn't check and would not pay that. Awful hotel.
